This pilot study examines the safety and efficacy of fibrin glue injection into the aneurysm sac during endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) to prevent type II endoleaks. Out of 84 patients, the procedure had a 99% success rate, with a low rate of delayed type II endoleaks (2.4%) and significant reduction in maximum transverse aneurysm diameter at follow-up. The study suggests that this approach may eliminate the need for secondary interventions, representing a potentially effective clinical strategy.
