The position will oversee all aspects of projects including planning, resources, execution, communication, and closure. Requirements include 3-5 years of project management experience, PMP certification desired, advanced Excel and SharePoint knowledge, and experience using Primavera P6. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is required.

1. Our client a Fortune 500 Oil and Gas company is seeking to hire an IT
Project Management Analyst.
Responsibilities
This role will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all IT PMO processes
and tools, providing training and coaching of staff along with ensuring
compliance of the project management process while assisting the PMO in
the day-to-day operations and serving as a backup for the PMO when
needed. The role is a key liaison between IT and business teams. This role
will oversee all aspects of the project including planning, resource estimation
(labor & Cost), execution, communication with the key business partners
and closure. Including tracking records and monitor project information
through stage gate in the project management system; communications
between the business units and PMO leaders on the portfolio to ensure
accurate information of all projects; develop project dashboards (KPI’s) and
reports to measure performance; assist the IT Resource Managers with tool
support for the resource planning and project report generation as needed
as well as to facilitate escalations. As a member of this team, this role serves
as the quality advocate, fostering the process oriented culture and serving
as a driving force on the Stage Gate compliance within the team.
Requirements
3-5 years of demonstrated project management experience, PMP or
path to PMP desired.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (Advance Excel) and SharePoint
is required.
Current Primavera P6 project management experience is required for
this role
Application experience with a minimum of 5 years in Business
applications – packages and customized solutions with an
understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
Ability to understand and gather business needs from users of all
levels and translate those needs into a solution.
Requires demonstrated level of analytical skills and attention to detail
to analyze development requirements, participate in the assessment of
development requests, and participate in resolving technical problems
with web based applications.
Experience working within a global team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or
equivalent. MBA a plus.
