.Project Idea:Heat resistant gas cylinder
Introduction:
Polymer are long chain molecules made of small
repeating molecules called monomers
Objective :
The students learn about the polymer and its properties and
how they can contribute in this activity .
Activitie 1
Changing Polymer Pellet
Procedure:
Activitie 1Changing polymer pellet
We add 0.5 g Sample of
the polymer to beaker A
and B
We add (10) ml water to
beaker(A) And add (10)
ml salt water to beaker (B)
Remove the samples
from the beakers
Compare what Happening
to the pellets in salt water
and fresh water at the
same time.
Now, We filter the liquid
from the beakers
The polymer that was in
fresh water swell put with
salt and water shrink
Results:

Conclusion: when we add fresh water to the
polymer, it swells because absorb the water to the
polymer. When we add salt water, the polymer shrinks
because the concentration of water fresh inside the

We Add polymer Film Made Of
Poly(Vinyl acetate) M.W.2,000
(4) Times Measured 4.5cm
And we Add Indicator(cocl2)
(2) Times Measured 4.5cm
And We Add Water (4)
Times Measured 4.5cm
When We Mix, It Turns the
Color to the Pink
We Dry the slid until it
changes to Blue. And we have
to Note The Time Change To
Blue
We Put the slid on Steam
Until it Changes to Pink by
Humidity

turn to pink
We Need To Dry The Sensor
for 6 Minutes turn to
blue
Conclusion.When Humidity Sensor is Dry ,The Color changes to Blue .
When Exposed To Humidity, it Changes To Pink color.

Heat resistant gas cylinder
Introduction and project
1: The reasons why we are interested in this project is to reduce the danger of
gas, this project is about developing gas cylinder resist heat and benefits the
Qatari community from explosions.
2: We have been attracted by the explosions that happen in the world because
of the gas cylinder and especially the explosion that happened in Qatar near
landmark and the newest thing about our project is to produce a gas cylinder
that resists heat that reduces explosions that cause death.
3: We had little information about polymer before Al- Bairaq come to our
school but Al-Bairaq helped us with the activities that taught us a lot about
the properties and characteristics of polymer and also some of its usages
here we had the idea of using polymer in producing things and objects .

The aim of our producer is to reduce the danger of
explosion of gas cylinders ,this explosions can cause
death and destruction our main is to save lives and keep
people in safe.

Name of the component : Interpon HT (Silicon)
Of the most important features that it bears very high temperatures and very low it
bears more heat.
Of 300 ° C and a low temperature until - 100 ° C and it has a high degree of resistance

flam property has any flame resistance.

make cylinders more secure and protected from high

Hypothesis of the theory
Procedures:
(1) Find heat resisting polymer
(2) Find the polymer additives to acquire the high capacity of thermal insulation
(3) We reached the conclusion that Interpon Ht polymer is the best insulator of
heat

To perform our project we used an organic silicon polymer heat.
using this kind of polymer will solve the problem of high
temperature in gas cylinders.

  • 3. Introduction: Polymer are long chain molecules made of small repeating molecules called monomers
  • 4. Objective : The students learn about the polymer and its properties and how they can contribute in this activity . Activitie 1 Changing Polymer Pellet

Procedure: Activitie 1Changing polymer pellet We add 0.5 g Sample of the polymer to beaker A and B We add (10) ml water to beaker(A) And add (10) ml salt water to beaker (B) Remove the samples from the beakers Compare what Happening to the pellets in salt water and fresh water at the same time. Now, We filter the liquid from the beakers The polymer that was in fresh water swell put with salt and water shrink

Results: BA Mass 0.5 gMass 0.5 g 8.4 gMass after 9.4 g 10 min 8.0 g Mass after 20 min 15.6 g Conclusion: when we add fresh water to the polymer, it swells because absorb the water to the polymer. Introduction and project 1: The reasons why we are interested in this project is to reduce the danger of gas, this project is about developing gas cylinder resist heat and benefits the Qatari community from explosions. 2: We have been attracted by the explosions that happen in the world because of the gas cylinder and especially the explosion that happened in Qatar near landmark and the newest thing about our project is to produce a gas cylinder that resists heat that reduces explosions that cause death. 3: We had little information about polymer before Al- Bairaq come to our school but Al-Bairaq helped us with the activities that taught us a lot about the properties and characteristics of polymer and also some of its usages here we had the idea of using polymer in producing things and objects .
