to be prepared in advance. Some of the tasks are addressed to their reasonability,
logical thinking, some tasks need to be resolved in short time,
and to resolve other tasks they need to use their knowledge accumulated during the years.
The competition is creative approach for teaching and learning all school subjects and demonstration

2. Biography
Galileo Galilei was an Italian physicist, mathematician,
engineer, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major
role in the scientific revolution. His achievements include
improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical
observations and support for Copernicanism. Galileo has been
called the "father of modern observational astronomy",the
"father of modern physics" the "father of science", and "the
Father of Modern Science".His contributions to observational
astronomy include the telescopic confirmation of the phases
of Venus, the discovery of the four largest satellites of Jupiter
and the observation and analysis of sunspots. Galileo also
worked in applied science and technology, inventing an
improved military compass and other instruments.
3. Galileo Galilei lived in time when it was thought
that only the Bible speaks the truth about the
creation of the world and the Earth is the centre
of the galaxy. He believed in God but he also
looked the reality from scientific point of view.
So he created the first telescope and started
studying the planets and the moon.Galilei
introduced his discoveries to the roman pope
and he is the first scientist who did it in scientific
method and after research.Unlike the others
before him who also had such ideas but unable
to prove them.
4. Unfortunately, when Galilei told the pope of his
discoveries,he was warned not to spread this to
anyone or he would be blamed as heretic and
punished.Then Galileo wrote about his
discoveries in a book “ The Dialogue Concerning
The Two Chief World Systems” but the Pope
started a process against him and ordered Galilei
to be arrested.Just before that he managed to
hide one oh his book`s copies which was sent to
Germany in order to be published.Galileo Galilie
was tourchered so that he may have given up on
his believes but he did not.He chose to abjure
his ideas and that saved his life.
5.
6. However,he was sentenced not to exit his home
and he couldn`t receive any guests.Galileo
Galilei died in 1642 in isolation and was buried
in St. Cross Church.Still his book was published
and he had many followers. The revision of
Galileo’s process started in 1968 and ended in
1992. In the same year a space shuttle named
“Galileo” left the Earth for Jupiter.
