This document outlines the Islamic Religious Education teaching syllabus for Senior 1-4 in Uganda. It includes the purpose, aims and objectives of teaching Islamic education. The syllabus covers key Islamic beliefs, pillars and practices, Islamic history and the introduction and spread of Islam in Uganda. It provides guidelines on time allocation, use of the syllabus, and assessment methods. Assessment will be through continuous and summative methods, including tests, assignments and two exam papers at the end of Senior 4.
