This document proposes an automatic transmission system for geared bikes to make riding easier for those with disabilities. It uses sensors to detect speed and an Arduino microcontroller to control servo motors that operate the gear shifting, clutch, and throttle. A proximity sensor measures speed pulses which the Arduino uses to determine when to shift gears. A rack and pinion mechanism replaces actuators to shift gears in a cost-effective manner. The system is expected to provide smoother gear shifts and improved fuel efficiency over manual transmission bikes.
