Bass is a pop band consisting of three 17-year-olds: Ash, the main singer, Jay the rapper, and Sharad the backup singer and drummer. The band started on YouTube two years ago and now has over 1,000 social media followers as their debut album is set for release. An article in a magazine will feature Bass on the cover and include an interview to provide more information about the band to readers and increase their music sales. As a new band, Bass has performed at small gigs but not large crowds yet and works with songwriters to produce their best music while hoping to tour with famous artists by 2016.

On my frontcover of the magazineI will have a photo of my band. My band
consists of one girl and two boys. The name of my band is Bass. This is due to
their names and due to them being a pop group. They have been together for just
over 2 years now but have all known each other since they were little. Ash, Jay
and Sharad are all the same age, around 17 years old. They are a pop band, Ash
being the main singer, Jay being the rapper of the group and Sharad being the
backup singer and drummer. They started on Youtube, doing Youtube videos but
have now become bigger and haveover 1k followers on the social networking
sites. Their firstalbum will be realised in justtwo weeks’ time.
Ash will feature on the contents page becauseI will havea page about her only
which will appeal to the target audience. My double page spread will be based on
my band. Itwill be an interview with them so that the reader of my magazine will
get moreinformation about the band and this will increase their music and
selling's. On the frontcover I will also feature any other title’s that will be
included in the magazine. This will allow the audience to know whatwill be in the
magazine withouthaving to go through the wholemagazine.
As Bass is a new band, they have not really had much experience with performing
in front of huge crowds however they have done little gigs before which they love
to do. Their music is produced and written by them but they also have help from
famous songwriters which they always takeon board in order to make their music
the bestit can be. By 2016 they should be touring with other famous artists such
as Bruno Mars, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Taylor Swift...
