Enterprises in many industries face tremendous external and internal pressure to transform. Source: Gartner February 2014 Core Transactional Systems have for years lain, by design, protected, secure, and largely inaccessible at the heart of every organization. Now they need to communicate with other systems, organizations and customers often via the intranet, internet, VPNs and a myriad of web technologies, while maintaining corporate security and data integrity. Core transaction systems however face a set of challenges: Erosion of inside knowledge of the organisation about their intricacies Lack/ Inappropriate/ dated documentation Shrinkage of qualified, often expensive resources to maintain/ access Complexity built in through earlier technologies and the passing of time! The SOA Gateway Control Centre which runs in Eclipse.
