Traceability
 Electrofusion couplers can be tracked by GPS for subsurface location
 Each coupler gets “scanned” by the processing unit ensuring process compliance
 All connections on the project can be summarized in a report and given to the Operator
Consistency
 Couplers are automatically fused correctly by the processor using temperature, wall thickness
and pipe size as the input factors
 Easy to read “error” messages prevent an improper connection from going into service
