•cellsintheventralandmedialwalls ofthe
somitelosetheirepithelial characteristics,
become mesenchymal(fibroblastlike)
again, andshifttheirpositiontosurround
theneuraltubeandnotochordand form
thesclerotomethatwill differentiateinto
thevertebraeandribs
