2. About the agency
The district employment office Coimbatore was established in the year of 1959, the
Salem, Namakkal and Erode coaching cum guidance center were also aided with
Coimbatore and owned under the Government of Tamilnadu, this organization mainly
focus on the students who have the background of SC/ST category for their
employment opportunities and providing carrier guidance for them. Providing carrier
guidance for the various Government school students for making them to choose
right carrier path for their future.

Trainee got more idea about the Coaching Cum Guidance Centre
for SC/ST, Coimbatore. Centre working to improve the life
condition of the SC/ ST students through education specially
providing career guidance and support.
8. Conclusion
The Trainee successfully completed the internship training in Coaching Cum Guidance
Centre for SC/ST, Coimbatore. The trainee had an opportunity to learn and gain
knowledge about the SC, ST welfare services. The training period helped the trainee
to gain professional knowledge and skills. The internship has given me an greater
idea and knowledge about the department and how its functioning .
