IoT has received much attention from scientists, industry and government all over the world for its potential in changing modern day living. IoT is envisioned as billions of sensors connected to the internet through wireless and other communication technologies. The sensors would generate large amount of data which needs to be analyzed, interpreted and utilized. Sensor will be context aware capturing device that enable modeling, interpreting and storing of sensor data which is linked to appropriate context variable dynamically. Building or home automation, social smart communication for enhancement of quality of life, that could be considered as one of the application of IoT where the sensors, actuators and controllers can be connected to internet and controlled. This paper introduces the concept of application for internet of things and with the discussion of social and governance issues that arise as the future vision of internet of things.

Internet of Things (IoT):
The digital space has undergone major changes over the past two years and will continue to evolve, according to industry experts. The last entry in digital space is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can also be defined as an interaction between the software, telecommunications and electronic devices industries and promises to offer enormous opportunities for many sectors. With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), powered by sensors that will soon be available for billions of dollars, that will work with billions of intelligent systems and cover millions of applications, the Internet of Things will ignite a spark. Launch new consumer and business behaviors requiring increasingly intelligent industrial solutions, which in turn create billions of dollars of opportunities for the IT industry and even more for companies that benefit from the Internet of Things. (Shackelford, S. 2020).
The Internet of Things has three distinct parts: Sensors that collect data (including sensor / device identifier and address), Decision-making and data transfer to decision servers, An application that collects and analyzes this data for greater integration.
Big data analytics and mechanisms can be used to make decisions. Several countries, such as the United States, South Korea and China, have taken the will to exploit the Internet. The main players in IoT initiatives are citizens, governments, and industry. Participation and cooperation of all interested parties at an appropriate time. At this point, we require instructions to link and select key areas, then emphasize the answers to the accumulation, The Internet of Things needs to have a clear strategy and follow a simple goal with the Value-Added and Reduce-cost models. With industry associations, experience in global forums, knowledge of other major IoT countries, and the active participation of global partners, we can promote an approach. More creative based on innovation. The key to the success of the Internet lies in the development of open platforms for scalable, easy-to-use and inexpensive models and citizens, such as sensors. Data should be clearly collected and shared between functions to maximize benefits.
Lack Of Compliance On The Part Of IoT Manufacturers:
New IoT devices come out almost daily, all with undiscovered vulnerabilities. The primary source of most IoT security issues is that manufacturers do not spend enough time and resources on security.
For example, most fitness trackers with Bluetooth remain visible after the first pairing, a smart ref.

In the past few years, Internet of things IoT has been a focal point of research. The Internet of Things IoT hold up an expansive scope of uses including keen urban areas, waste management, auxiliary wellbeing, security, crisis administrations, coordinations, retails, mechanical control, and wellbeing care. Privacy and Security are the key issues for IoT applications, and still face some colossal challenges. In late years, the Internet of Things IoT has increased calculable research consideration. Now days, the IoT is considered as eventual fate of the web. In future, IoT will assume a significant job and will change our gauges, plan of action just as living styles. Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Internet of Things
1. Internet Of Things
Name: Yashwanth Reddy Gondi
E-mail: yashreddy.g@gmail.com
Twitter Id: @yashu1024
College: CVR College Of Engineering
University: JNTU Hyderabad
Year/Semester: III/VI
Branch: Computer Science
2. What is it?
‘Internet of things’ refers to collection of physical objects (electronics)
connected to the Internet.
These objects should be ‘Internet smart’ which means that they should have
the capability to communicate with their peers on the network and work
collectively.
Essentially, these electronics connected through a network can be used to
collect, analyze and understand data about consumer behavior which can
help in providing better services in the future.
Each device should be uniquely identifiable in the network and also should be
able to work independent of the network.
Devices part of IoT can range from tsunami buoys in a large ocean for
monitoring tides to small biochips to monitor health of animals.
3. Why do we need IoT?
IoT when implemented to its complete extent has a great potential to change
how we use electronics entirely by acting as a personal assistant in our day-
to-day lives.
It can know a user’s personal preferences over a period of time and provide
services predicting his needs.
This predictions have a good chance of becoming accurate day by day.
The result is a personalized experience in our daily tasks.
Everything would be in one place in terms of control.
You can control when the sprinkler in your lawn goes off because it’s all
connected.
Your thermostat knows what temperature you like at a particular time of day.
With great power comes great responsibility. With huge data comes the need
for advanced technologies to handle it properly.
IoT will require great advancements in today’s data handling technologies to
handle its continuously generating data efficiently.
4. Trends
NEST is a smart thermostat that understands you’re needs by monitoring your
activities and automatically adjusting temperatures with time. It can be
controlled over the internet.
Google bought it. For $3.2 billion. This proves that there’s market for smart
technology like this out there.
Many surveys put the amount of devices in the IoT anywhere between 25 to 30
billion in the coming 5 years.
Companies like Samsung, BMW are introducing products that are much more
interconnected in terms of their services to be more customizable and to
provide a unified experience.
These technologies are not yet compatible with each other as each
company is working on its own but they eventually will be.
5. My interests in IoT
I find the lack of a unified architecture is what’s delaying this technology
from taking over consumer technology market.
Because of this, IoT is not able to work at its full potential as one device
doesn’t know the other device’s language
I would like to work on a unified architecture that various enterprises can use
to make their products truly talk to each other.
That way IoT will be manufacturer independent and consumer centric.
It also makes the market more competitive and fair.
I also want to work in making devices much more human friendly. Hence
would like to work on algorithms that are much more accurate in
understanding human behavior.
