• Main force behind globalization
• MNC is a company that owns or controls production in more than one
country
• It not only sells the finished products globally, the goods and services are
produced also globally
• This is done to reduce the cost of production and earn greater profit
• Production is divided in small parts across the globe to gain advantage for
their closeness to the market, cheap labor and raw material.
• The MNC may save around 50-60% in production and increase profit.
