Integrated Criteria Decision Making And Multi Criteria...
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Research Report – CS6705 Prioritized Multi–Criteria Decision Making and Multi–Criteria Aggregation By
Rizwan Umaid Ali Student # 3494784 Multi–Criteria decision making (MCDM) is an area of Artificial Intelligence which provides capabilities to
assess complex decision problems. The decisions can depend on our preferences of some criteria over others. In this report, we analyze formulations of
MCDM and Multi–Criteria Aggregation. To further understand this, we also see how we calculate prioritized measure of Multi–Criteria Aggregation
and its Shapley index. Introduction For a modern application, reaching satisfaction can depend upon several criteria. Each criteria in it can be
satisfied to reach an optimal result, but in real world scenarios satisfying every criteria is impossible and even not required. For example, if a bill
needs to be passed by an executive committee, we will need only half of the committee's approval to pass it. This leads us to think that we can reach
satisfaction with any set of members of the committee. In fact, there are several cases where certain criteria have a higher priority than others and
satisfaction cannot be reached without them. For instance, if the president of the executive committee has to approve the bill and other members just
have to favour it, then the president will dominate the other criteria. To logically state this we can say 'Satisfy criterion A and if possible satisfy
criterion B'. We

Question #2: Would your colleagues on the executive committee agree with your selection and prioritization? The above priorities should be well
received because they solve or improve many of the frustrating employees around the company. This answer will look at each division (upper
management, sales & marketing, order fulfillment and distribution, and ITS) and see why the four IT priorities should be well received by the
executive committee. The KL upper management is on record stating that the company has IT challenges "...around coordinating the various, and at
times conflicting, business priorities across the enterprise. We sure could use better IT tools for this as well as ready access to timely performance

Three Main Stages Of Kurt Lewin's Model In Management
Kurt Lewin had a good contribution in regard to setting certain model related to management changes. This model has three main stages, starting from
unfreezing, moving to changing with refreezing and finally refreezing. This model represents a very easy and practical model to comprehend the
change processes, Lewin did clarify that an organization would go through change due an importance which reflects on the organization's level of
proficiency and efficiency of work; all of which goes through three stages and ends at the point of adapting the new behaviour after the enhancement
process. Lewin's model is still very popular and utilized in many modern models (Morrison, 2014).

This process might be critical as at some point some might face a very slow refreezing process, as transaction rarely stops in good shape and without
any roughness(Morrison, 2014) . In most advanced organizations this stage considered temporal , as they have another change right by the corner , in
this case this stage is not considered as a real refreezing stage, its just there to make the next refreezing stage easier to adapt and accepted(Wirth & ,
2004) . However, many organizations find that their staff go through a shock stage due to the change, and that does reflect on their competency level,
and their efficiency as well(Burnes, 2004) . Conclusion Lewin's model helps managers to execute the change in their organizations , as this change
covers the main three stages of unfreezing, change with refreezing , and refreezing. Lewin's stages gives enough direction to how deal with the
change, people and help them to overcome the stages and have stability in the refreezing stage. This does not change the fact, that having cooperative
people, who accept the change and embrace it , would make this process kick smoothly and executed in the right way (Morrison, 2014)

Employee's productivity, performance and efficiency highly depend on each department, which is led by its managers that contributes to the overall
success of the company. Thus, the different types of management styles, decision making and the way in which the Management interacts and delegates

Similarly, some leaders that do not ask or obtain input from employees can also distort important information to perform their roles and lead effectively.
Employees are valuable assets and their input towards their job determines the productivity and effectiveness. However the different leadership styles
adopted by management can highly influence and affect employees input on productivity and effectiveness. For example:
A democratic leader appreciates input from its employees and use the appropriate information to improve and create a better work processes. This
makes employees feel valued and feel apart of company's success and improve overall involvement and productivity.
However an Autocratic leadership style may completely ignore and dismiss input coming from employees as they are may not be open to make
changes on how they do things around the company, this may alienate employees feelings of involvement towards the company that affects the morale
and productivity of employees.
Similarly, other leaders may give autonomy to their employees and allow them to do what they like in terms of their work processes, this could lead to
problems and lack of procedural within the workforce.

1.0.Introduction
Alignment of an enterprise's goals with its IT1 and IS1 systems has been a challenge ever since IT became a business enabler. Proposing an IT
alignment requires a thorough understanding of the business goals of the enterprise and the knowledge that alignment is an iterative process which
requires constant measurement and honing (Chan, 2002). Enterprises often face the problem of balance of priorities between IT and Business
objectives. This report deals with one such case that faced alignment and prioritization hardships resulting in an unclear approach to achieve a corporate
strategy.

In accordance with Chan's (2002) views, there was no structural alignment in the process as the responsibility of managing IT was shared resulting in a
tiny business growth. After forming the BPTO and undergoing strategy change, the company came up with roles for IS as a strategic alignment (Chan,
2002) by categorizing them and relating them to business goals. This comparison articulated the priorities of a

Projects are then scored and prioritized based on the criteria. Once projects are prioritized and those priorities are reviewed and discussed, the
department can evaluate the results to determine funding and resource allocation for the higher priority projects.
A final step involves assessing how and when (or if) to fund the lower priority projects in the future if/when more resources become available.
Creating and using a prioritization matrix involves five simple steps:
1. Determine your criteria and rating scale.
There are two components involved in rating the projects on your ВЎВ§to doВЎВЁ list: criteria for assessing importance, and a rating scale.
The first step is to determine the factors you will use to assess the importance of each project. Choose factors that will clearly differentiate important
from unimportant projects ВЎV these are your criteria. A group of 6–12 criteria is typical. Example criteria might include whether or not the project is
a mandate, the value it brings to the customer, etc.
Then, for each of your criteria, establish a rating scale to use in assessing how well a particular project satisfies that criteria. To ensure consistent use
of the rating scale, provide some details to define how the criteria should be applied. The following table provides some examples:

the wireless networks such as WLANs and fiber networks like PONs (Passive Optical Networks). Therefore FiWi networks having advantages of
both users mobility support as well as high bandwidth. But the major problem with this networks is as the number of mobile user's increases,
queueing delay is increasing in FiWi's Optical Network Unit (ONU). There are number of methods recently proposed for minimizing this queueing
delay for bandwidth allocation. However, this methods are only working on PONs and WLANs and hence not considering the state of ONU.
Therefore performance of FiWi networks is poor in terms of throughput and queuing delay. For any kind of FiWi networks improving its performance
in terms of throughput is very vital. This can be possible by presenting the efficient queueing delay minimization method for FiWi networks. This is
main research problem for this domain. 2.

What Are The Challenges Of A Senior Team Leader
Introduction:
The World Health Organization (WHO) is one of the United Nations (UN) agencies. WHO is working in 150 countries with the mission to provide a
healthier life (WHO 2016). The WHO's working strategy is to work with governments and other local and international partners to achieve their mutual
health related goals (WHO 2016). To obtain these goals, strongleadership skills and understanding of the local problems is critical for anyone in a
decision making position. Mendenhall et al (2012) deliberated that leaders who lead teams at an international level must have the capability to bring
change in the organization by not only creating strong linkages within their teams, but also involve with internal and external stakeholders, including
counterparts, other leaders, the people from the various governments and organizations they work with. This requires cross–cultural understanding and
the ability to work within and across different sectors. For example, not only health, but also governance and education.
This paper examines the challenges (which may be) experienced by an official who is recently appointed as a senior team leader in the WHO in
Geneva, during the first thirty days of leaders' engagement. A leader needs to focus on four domains 1) creating

Time Blocking Method
Utilize the Methodology of Time Blocking
Multitasking has been proven to be ineffective when it comes to efficiency. People think that they are able to get more done by trying to tackle
everything at once, but in reality, you're pulling yourself in too many directions at once. Eliminate this effect of being pulled like taffy by developing
your own time blocking method. There are a few things that you need to consider when it comes to creating time blocks for your schedule. As a
physician, you probably have already started using time blocking method as the way to handle patients, but you can put this method to work for you for
your entire schedule.
Determine Your Priorities
The first thing that you need to do is determine what priority level each of your tasks happen to be at for you. This means that you need to decide what
priorities are topping your charts. Then, you're able to block time out for these particular tasks. You should be able to focus on getting your number one
priority completed without any other distractions. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It's time to change the way that you think about scheduling your blocks of time. It can be helpful to start thinking about the events that happen in your
day and what you need to accomplish. Try to schedule your time around the things that are happening in your day, and what tasks are necessary to
handle in a particular day. This will make it easier to block off your time to help you minimize those distractions that can occur. For instance, if you
know that you'll have an important call or appointment during the day, you'll want to start either far enough in advance that you won't have to pause
what you're doing to take care of that event, or wait until afterwards to schedule this

Memorable Vacation Essay : My Most Memorable Trip To Dubai
MY MOST MEMORABLE VACATION
When you think about a vacation it is a calm, serene place away from work and the hustle and bustle of the city. However, that isn't always the
case. My most memorable vacation happens to be a trip to the city of Dubai in the summer of 2013. I remember packing for this trip I was so
excited. I couldn't explain why so happy and enthusiastic to go, because this would be my umpteenth time of going to Dubai. I was probably excited
about shopping but little did I know I was in for a suprise.
We arrived in Dubai in the early hours of the morning at around 7am local time. When we stepped out of the airport it was so humid I could hear my
skin crack, typical mid–July weather in Dubai. We checked intoKempinski hotel Palm Jumeriah, Dubai. I was starving I couldn't wait to eat so as
soon as my suitcases came up, I dashed to the lobby I ran as fast as Usain Bolt for a second. When I got to the lobby I asked the receptionist for the
breakfast area she replied, "around the corner to your left sir". I walked swiftly around the corner when I got there I was marvelled by the amount of
food they had, I didn't even know where or how to start. I was very hungry so I just took a little of everything. While I was taking my food, I couldn't
help but notice the large chocolate fountain they had it looked just like the one in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. After eating my food, I took five

Volkswagen Of Americ Managing It Priorities
Team 11
Volkswagen of AmericaВManaging IT Priorities
1. What is your assessment of the new process for managing priorities at Volkswagen of America? Are the criticisms justified? Is it an improvement
over the old process?
We believe that the new process for managing priorities was well structured and aligned with the business goals but with few exceptions. Let's try to
understand why?
VWoA laid out their five next round of growth goals (NRG) and built a business architecture with the help of different organizational entities to
manage priorities of different projects in order to implement these goals. The ELT was given the primary responsibility along with ITSC, PMO,
BPTO and DBC playing important roles while selecting and prioritizing projects. The Digital Business Council was to play the most challenging role
here as it would work with different Business Unit managers in order to select and prioritize projects, keeping in mind a way to categorize projects,
assess their business impact, aligning project with business goals and making tradeoff decisions. The process played out in three phases initiated by
PMO. Thus, this process is well structured and would help DBC to consider different trade–offs while selecting and prioritizing projects.
The only exception is that we would recommend to include members of VWG while drafting the goal portfolios of the company so that certain
projects that impacted on the global level could also be funded. If they had included them, then

The Four Stages Of Bruce Tuckman's Model Of Group Theory
When Bruce Tuckman proposed the model of group development in 1965, the model assumed four stages which include
forming–storming–norming–performing stages. However, a fifth model was introduced to encapsulate the already functioning models and this model
became known as the adjourning phase (Bauer & Erdogan, 2009, p. 191). This group development stages will now be described below:
The first stage in the group development model is the forming stage which is a time when a group officially comes together for the first time. This
stage is full of uncertainty as members of the group do not know what role they might be asked to play and what level of behavior is accepted or not
accepted in the group. It's a time when individuals try to get acquainted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similarly, this stage characterizes a great deal of friendship where members rely on their capability to handle a task and see it done without a leader
instructing them how to do it. This stage is also a period when group members exhibit an unconditional respect for their colleagues and even request
feedback on their level of performance in the task at hand. Apparently, it is not uncommon to have a close confidant whom personal or intimate secret
can be told. Additionally, it's at the norming stage of the group development that members introduce rules and regulation that determine the
functionality of the group. The level of energy in the group at this stage is extremely high that Bauer and Erdogan (2009) recommend that it will be
appreciated should the leader step aside and only function as a facilitator to the group whose capability is beyond bound and ready to confront tough
challenges with the confidence of scaling through without

The Prioritization Of Project Management
The Prioritization of Projects
Meaning of Priority:
It is relative right of prerequisite to the rare assets. On the off chance that the assets are high there is no need of prioritize things. Here the assets are the
things like time, human assets like staffing, spot to do work and numerous different assets.
There are two separate ideas of that could be dead set from framework building and administration of the framework designing activities. In this we
have define the particular necessities of the stake holders what they need and how they are eager to exchange the item in given assets.
Meaning of Decision Making:
A Decision is something that some individual picks the conceivable decisions of his own by considering the potential outcomes. The entire motivation
behind incorporating in the choice making methodology is to settle on a balanced choice. Sound choice making means an inclination that is suitable to
effectively existing objectives inside the given conditions and compels of the undertaking.
In project management, decisions are required throughout triple constrains:
Scope (how much functionality, at what quality level, for how many users, etc.)
Schedule ( can activities be crashed , can activities be aligned differently, can provider change its schedule, can you skip/defer activities , can
milestones be missed or eliminated, etc.)
Cost (can a segment of work be allowed to come in over cost; can you reduce the cost of a segment; can you afford a scope change etc.)

Volkswagen Of America 's New Process For Managing Priorities
Volkswagen of America's new process for managing priorities is much more methodical than how things were done previously. Companies can
successfully manage priorities by adhering to the following guidelines: defining the company's value, developing "logical, fact–based prioritization
processes", creating frameworks that "resolve resource allocation conflicts... [and] encourage employee collaboration" (Townsend). The new process
seemed to follow these guidelines very closely. VWoA identified and ranked business goals and designed a blueprint for the company. The new
process called for business units to communicate their projects, which would be laid out against VWoA's blueprint. At this stage, business units could
not only see how their projects affected company goals but also how they related to other business unit projects. Business units drew up their own
project proposals and ranked them in the order they desired. Projects were then placed in portfolios of enterprise goals and executed in order of
portfolio rank. The new process resulted in some business units not seeing any of their projects funded. This resulted in disappointed and distressed
unit leads. Complaints regarding the new process asserted that it was "too theoretical" and biased towards IT infrastructure projects. Although there are
hypothetical elements in the new process, any process for managing priorities cannot be one hundred percent certain; the process serves only as a guide
to reach desired outcomes.

Analysis Of Blomberg 's ' The King Of The Mountain...
This week's reading takes a more in depth look at the current synoptic problem. Blomberg lightly discusses the main hypotheses (Oxford, Griesbach,
and Q) by engaging in their strengths and weaknesses alike. He also discusses the possible synoptic sources, mainly "L", "M", and "Q". He does
briefly relay some more historical figures, early church fathers mostly, and their seemingly archaic views on synoptic priority compared to the
scholastic achievements in more recent eras.
McKnight gives a closer look at the Oxford or "two–source" hypothesis. He strives to show the Oxford hypothesis as winning the
king–of–the–mountain scholastic debate using the various scholars who have debated the heaviest in favor of the Markan priority, mainly Streeter. Even
as passionately as McKnight stands on this on–going biblical debate, Farmer gives just as obsessive a plea for Matthean priority as he discusses the
Griesbach or "two–gospel" hypothesis. However, Farmer puts his discussion into terms less eloquently than McKnight does. Farmer very succinctly
plots his discussion into steps as if teaching to a room of theological second–graders. While, as a scientist myself, I can appreciate the calculative style
he uses to win the spot at the top of the mountain, I feel that this debate is scarcely that simple of an answer.
The synoptic problem itself still challenges me. When this debate was first revealed to me in an undergraduate course, a most basic biblical overview, I
fancied myself on the

A Reflection On Capstone Nursing Practicum
As N412L: Capstone Nursing Practicum comes to a close, I can reflect on my clinical experiences in this course and my progress towards meeting my
defined behavioral objectives. At the beginning of this course, I set goals for myself, of which I planned to accomplish by the time this term came to a
close. These objectives included: effective communication of the patient's care summary in SBAR format, safe and efficient administration of
intravenous medications, successful performance of tracheostomy care, and accurate physical assessment and patient monitoring. While I still have
much to learn as I step into the role of a graduate nurse, I have accomplished my behavioral objectives for this semester.
Description
Throughout the second half of the semester, I have not made any significant changes to my pre–clinical routine. I still prepare and gather my supplies

The Negative Effects Of Animals In Zoos
Negative Effects of Animals in Zoos Zoos, often described as establishments with indoor and outdoor settings where live animals are kept, play a
vital role in conserving wild species. Zoo establishments serve the purpose of educating zoo visitors about animals and for providing those animals
with proper care, but they are typically used for public exhibition. Most people see zoos as places to take their children to learn more about animals,
and as a form of entertainment by allowing people to walk around and look at animals in cages. Others see zoos as places that confine animals from
their natural habitat, and as places that interfere with the natural order of the animals. There are many factors that contribute to the negative effects of
animals being in zoos, most being the zoo's management, faculty, and the visitors.
How zoo faculties are managed is one of the many ways that animals in zoos can be affected negatively. According to Smit, "[t]he obvious managerial
goal with such facilities is to achieve a level of integration of facilities and services, but a level of integration which is driven by the needs of animals
in any given zoological facility" (Smit). Smit believes that facilities and services should be combined in a way that has a favorable effect towards the
animals. An example of this would be when animal cages are built to accommodate their inhabitants (Smit). Animal cages must be structured well
enough for the safety of the animals and in a way that the

Critique of Pozzoli case (Inventive step test)
Introduction
A patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention, product or process that provides a new way of doing something, or that offers a new technical
solution to a problem. An invention in general must fulfill certain criteria in order to be protected by a patent. For example, the Patents Act, 1970 in S.
2(1) (j) defines invention as a new product or process involving an inventive step and capable of industrial application. In other words, an invention in
order to be patentable must show an element of novelty, must show "an inventive step", and must be of practical use. Particularly, the Patents Act,
1970 defines "inventive step" as a feature of an invention that involves technical advance as compared to the existing knowledge or having economic
significance or both and that makes the invention not obvious to a person skilled in the art. In other words, patent rights are not available for new
advances that are merely obvious extensions or modifications of prior designs. Besides, the requirement of difference over prior art, there is a
requirement to establish the extent of common general knowledge that exists while ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This case dealt with an invention relating to a windsurfing board. A patent had been granted to the plaintiff for the invention of windsurfing board. The
plaintiffs challenged the defendants for infringing the patent. The defendants on the other hand counterclaimed for revocation of the patent on the
grounds that the claimed invention was obvious and lacked novelty. The Court held that the patent was invalid based on prior use and prior publication.
The Court found that the invention in question was an obvious improvement and that a person skilled in the art could anticipate the design of the

Sample Resume : Nurse Manager Interview Essay
Nurse Manager Interview
This semester, I had the chance of interviewing Susan Holley–Washer, nurse manger of 4 Northwest. This floor is a telemetry and step down unit at the
Loma Linda Veteran Affairs Medical Center. During this time, I had the opportunity to ask many questions covering several topics. The topics
discussed her perspective on interviewing potential employees, counseling employees, employee evaluations, orientation of new personnel, budgetary
processes, manager roles in governance, determining staffing need, attendance of management meetings, and current unit projects. In the end, I was
able to obtain valuable information about the functions of a nurse manager and information about my opportunities as a potential employee on this unit.
My question discussed the interviewing process of potential employees. Holley–Washer answered by saying that it was a grid/panel–based interview
process. She stated that this format helps her and others on the panel eliminate applicants that do not meet the requirements of the unit. However, she
added that they do make exceptions to this process. The can intentionally pull applicants out of the grid system to interview personally in order to
progress them through the interview process. There is also a point–based system when hiring: 5 points for being a veteran and 10 points if still enrolled
in the service. The level of degree the applicant possesses also awards points and continuing education is important. Lastly, 6 extra

Tuckman Team Stages
Describe with examples the stages that involved in team development.
Psychologist Bruce Wayne Tuckman developed the first four stages of team development. The stages were called 'Tuckman stages'. Later the fifth
stage was added together with Man Ann Jensen. 'You can't expect a new team to perform well when it first comes together. The targeted goal takes
time to be achieved by the team within an organisation. Tuckman stages show us how a team go through various steps acquiring a set of knowledge to
share the common set goals. Teamwork is a way to have an effective work. The five stages are forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning
which are further elaborated below:
Forming
In this first stage, a group of people introduced to each other. They are curious, anxious, cautious and even excited about the task ahead. To form a
good impression on others the spirit of positive vibes are seen among the team members. The forming stage is to create a team with clear structure,
goals, direction and roles so that all the team ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is celebration and recognition of the group achievement. In this ending stage, the temporary groups will be scattered once the goal has been
accomplished. However, the ending process never occurs in certain groups for example a customer service team and a social media team. However,
time and effort are needed to reach the final stage. The deadline is dependent on the experience and skills of the team members. Members who have
been adapted to the team may find the adjourning stage difficult as they have to leave the team to accomplish their own personalised goal in the
organisation.
Indeed, team development is a way to increase the ability of an employee to have a good source of planning, problem solving and decision making.
The progression has to be effective through the stages of the team development effectiveness is very crucial for the team to accomplish their

Evaluating The New Process For Managing Priorities At...
Q1) During the 10 years from 1992 through 2002, VWoA considered IT as a source of overhead and prioritized more on marketing and selling
activities by allocating all the available funds. According to Matulovic, the major issues at VWoA were not related to IT but rather to the ambiguity that
surrounded governance and development process.
Assessment of the new process for managing priorities at Volkswagen of America?
Significantly, he empowered PMO (program management Office) that focuses on proper planning prior to execution phase in order to generate
on–schedule and on–budget projects. Hence, Matulovic satisfied that projects are working in a right manner. In order to choose the right projects to
fund, the new process was implemented which is very organized, more structured and select projects based on the business requirements/scope.
Several Organizational entities played a role in creating and managing a new process for managing priorities at VWoA. The focus of new process
have been on aligning IT projects with Organizational goals i.e., each of the top three projects of business units should map to one of the major
enterprise goals. Since the budget is limited ($60 million capped by VWAG), the funds are allocated to the projects which are highly prioritized by
their business units. Business architecture played an important role in formalizing governance and prioritization process as it provided means of
categorizing organization activities including IT projects and

Personal Narrative Reflection Paper
My second year of university was BUSY!
In addition to taking a full course load, I also had jobs on campus and was volunteering. Plus, I had to fit in my workout regime, social time, 'me'
time, and best of all, sleep. And I was able to do all of that, while maintaining my all–A transcript.
When my friends ask me how I managed to pull that off, most of the time I would tell them the truth, which is "I really don't know". But there was a
lot of careful consideration that went into basically my every action so that I could stay on top of all of my responsibilities.
There's one key thing that I did that made my success possible: PRIORITIZE.

Essentially, my job was to be there for all of the first years, whether they needed advice, someone to talk/cry to, or someone to be a friend and go to

'on–call'. We were supposed to have our doors open and phones on basically anytime we were in the building in case someone needed us. So, unless I
had some school related crises (AKA the millions of times I left papers till the last minute), my time belonged to the first years. When I took the job, I
knew that was the commitment I was making.
And honestly, I loved the job. I loved it so much that I'm doing it again my third year, but as a full–blown RA this time. There was also only a few times
that my top two priorities conflicted together, such as a frosh (first year) wanting to vent to someone, but I had a paper due in an hour.
PRIORITY THREE:
The next priority for me was my social life. This sort of mixed in with being a member of residence staff, as I was friends with a lot of my frosh, so I
was able to kill two birds with one stone. But, making time for my boyfriend, my friends who didn't live on my floor, and my friends who didn't even
go to my school was also very important to me. Some friends I only saw for dinner once every few weeks, others it was a few times a week. I saw my

As far as the claims are concerned, this is a second opportunity for amending them before the international preliminary examination starts (the first
being by way of Article 19 amendments submitted to the International Bureau after receipt of the international search report). In practice, most
applicants filing a demand for international preliminary examination do not make use of the possibility of amending the claims under Article 19,
unless publication of the amendments is desired [see Module 8 section 8.2]. Where it is clear from the references cited in the ISR and the written
opinion of the ISA that the PCT application requires amendments, applicants typically furnish their amendments to the IPEA together with the

ISA and the IPEA are the same. In this case, you will most likely not receive a “second” written opinion from the IPEA. You should
therefore file any Article 34 amendments and/or any arguments in relation to the written opinion of the ISA together with the demand. International
preliminary examination does not usually start until after the ISA has drawn up the ISR and the written opinion. You may wait for these documents

Public Transport And How It Can Be Prioritised Through...
Abstract
This paper addresses the importance of public transport and how it can be prioritised through traffic engineering. Numerous methods for giving public
transport priority have been researched and discussed. Examples are provided where those techniques are implemented and their performance is
evaluated. Research proves that priority to public transport in urban areas is feasible and can lead to reduced travel times while having a minor impact
on the traffic network.
1.Introduction
As cities are expanding and traffic congestion is increasing, there is growing demand for more regular and efficient public transport. This is in part to
reduce pollution and noise levels (European Commision Dictorate–General for Environment, 2004). European policy–makers and investors have in fact
influenced a modal shift towards more public, rather than private transport in recent years (Bund, n.d.).
Traffic engineering involves the planning and management of urban road infrastructures and networks (Institute of Transportation Engineers, 1999) for
various modes of transport, such as vehicles (private, public and commercial), bicycles and pedestrians. Its purpose is to find solutions to transport
infrastructures in order to provide the best transport systems for people and goods in terms of cost, time, safety and environmental impact.
There are three key benefits in prioritising public transport in urban environments. The first is that by reducing congestion, commercial transport

Accuracy Of Eyewitness Testimony
Introduction
Eyewitness testimony has been used as an important tool in the criminal justice system. When there is lack of other kinds of evidence, police often rely
on eyewitness to find potential suspects. In court, eyewitness testimony is a kind of important evidence associates with DNA or other types of
evidence. However, many psychologists think that it should not be used in the criminal justice system as most of the wrongful convictions were caused
by inaccurate eyewitness testimony.
Although eyewitness testimony is not always accurate, the criminal justice system can evaluate the accuracy through some factors and make it a more
useful tool. Three main factors will be discussed in this essay, which are confidence of eyewitness,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The accuracy rate was high, and the other two groups showed similar results. In the self–rate interview group, 96% and 98% in the interviewer–rate

interviewing by person, participants might think that they were considered a good eyewitness and good eyewitness supposed to give the right details.
Therefore, they have more confidence in themselves and are more likely to do better than completing the task on papers. Another study was conduct by
Short and Dalby (2007) to support this theory. 106 participants completed the study by watching a videotape and identifying the suspect in the photo
line–up. The video showed a man stealing a lady's purse in a hair salon. At the end, they rated their confidence from 1–7 (low–high). In this study, only
32% of the participants correctly identified the culprit. These participants had an average of 5.3 when they rated the confidence level, while
participants who made inaccurate identification only had an average of 4.9. That means participants who gave the correct answers had high confidence
in themselves. When evaluating the accuracy of eyewitness testimony, eyewitness's confidence can be considered in court, accompany with the other
two important factors which will be discussed later.

Process For Managing Project Priorities
Managing IT Priorities
VWOA
Process for managing Project Priorities
Company develops the process of priorities to stay gather the information of which project would impact the company and would achieve their goals in
the future and maximize business. With that being said prioritizing projects is the key to be successful in the business, to develop that strategy a
company should allocate it resources in various explicit projects and their implementation.
The process of deciding and which project should be priority based on business requirements and goals could be a very difficult decision. Since, every
project in the company holds importance but because there is a budget which is funded the departments have to select those project priorities to
maximize their budgets and fulfill business goals
In this case VWOA had two processes one was the old process and the other was the new process. The old process was the IT projects priorities were
made by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with some discussion and evaluation of project and fund those were available the decisions were made.
This process was not structured neither, they involved any departmental heads to discuss on the prioritization of projects. On the other hand with the
new process that Dr. Use Mathulovic, Chief information officer (CIO) of VWOA implemented and thought that would improve the way of prioritizing
the IT projects was "to make trade–offs explicit and link the projects and the core business

The Total Cost And Total Duration Of A Project Manager
In real situation, a project manager would certainly attempt to reduce total cost and total duration of a project. Therefore, the best amount of leveling
may occur when both the total cost and the total duration are minimised. Generally, the total cost of a project will greatly depended on the total
duration. In other words, in most cases, a plan with minimum total project duration will stand for the best amount of leveling. The best amount of
leveling should take a balanced view with concern about the client 's demands, the project objects and the availability of different types of resources.
For single resource, in small projects, their resource could be leveled by inspection; in larger projects is to select a target maximum for a resource.
Moreover, when dealing with multiple resources, managers should decide which resource should be leveled first, i.e., largest fluctuating resources,
resource with largest penality, high cost equipment. Other resource leveling method include extending the project duration, compressing activities, and
splitting activities.
Although it is ideal to have each task started and finished in the earliest period, this situation may not be found in real cases. In most of time, the
resource required to launching multiple tasks is greater than the maximum available resources. Consequently, some tasks have to be delayed to start
after others are finished.
The steps of resource leveling are dramatically. As the previous figure shown above, each task

Basic Parameters That Affect The Performance
7.Basic Parameters That Affect The Performance in RTOS
7.1Multi–tasking and preemptable:
In RTOS the system have to be multitasking and preemptable because those two features make the RTOS Scheduler end any lower priority task to
execute the higher ones or to release some resources for other tasks that urgently need those resources. Also the system have to handle different level of
priorities of interrupts.(Yerraballi,R. 2000)
7.2Dynamic deadline identification:
In some scheduling algorithms such as (EDF)the deadline is converted to priority levels. Then we can control priorities by controlling the
deadlines."Although such an approach is error prone, nonetheless it is employed for lack of a better solution"(Buttazzo, 2005).
7.3Predictable synchronization:
The threads of the system need to communication and to be synchronized in a timely efficient and predictable way.
7.4Sufficient Priority Levels:
In the scheduling algorithms based on priorities. There must be enough levels of priorities. Priority inversion occur when a low level priority hold the
resource that the the high level priority is waiting for or blocked due to this resource, and the lower priority is delayed because low priority task. "Two
workarounds in dealing with priority inversion, namely priority inheritance and priority ceiling protocols (PCP), need sufficient priority levels."
7.5Predefined latencies:
The timing of the systems must be predictable and this is done by defining task switching

Pollutions : Effecting The Effects Of Noise In The Classroom
To begin the discussion on the effect of noise within a classroom setting, we must first analyze what noise is. Merriam Webster defines noise as "any
sound that is undesired or interferes with one's hearing of something." Noise can arise from a range of objects. This can include but is not limited to
people, machinery or everyday common objects such as a pencil sharpener. Whilenoise constantly surrounds us, it is when there is a large amount of a
loud level of noise that it begins to impede our ability to interpret and follow speech. The American Speech–Language Hearing Association outlines the
levels of noise that are comfortable for noise. Noise is measured in decibels (dB), and a range anywhere from 0 to 70 dB is considered normal.
Anything above 85 dB can lead to eventual hearing loss. While the level of noise within a classroom is well within the normal range, this just goes to
show that noise can have a strong effect on our health. It comes to no surprise then that noise can lead to difficulty with attention and learning in
classrooms.
Now we must explore what the possible noises in a classroom may be. It can range anywhere from outside noise such as cars passing by to the
chairs scrapping on the floor. Noise for a classroom is often described in two categories: external and internal noises. An external noise is usually a
single event, such as a car honking. An internal noise are noises that are occurring directly within the classroom, such as a pencil sharpener or

Use Of Automatic Mode Of A Dslr ( Digital Single Lens...
Introduction
Imagine yourself standing on one of the seven wonders in the world. Surrounded by the symbolic scenery you wish to seal up the beauty forever, but
you're struggling due to a lack of knowledge of how to function a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera. This user guide will teach you how to use
a DSLR camera from the fundamentals, along with in–depth knowledge of the profession functions using the three most important pillars in
photography; Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO.
Automatic Mode
1.1 What is Automatic Mode
Automatic mode is when the camera self–selects the most appropriate settings for the chosen situation. It determines for you all of the functions such
as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance (WB), etc. All that is required for you to do then is point and shoot. [1]
1.2 How to Access and Operate Automatic Mode
1.Turn on your camera
2.Twist the mode dial until the green symbol 'auto' lines up with the white marker and your LCD screen displays the correct mode. (Figure 1,2)
3.Select a target and press the shutter button to capture.
Programme Mode
2.1 What is Programme Mode
Above we have discussed about the most basic mode–auto mode. Programme mode is one step more complicated than auto mode. It also self–selects
the shutter speed, aperture, WB and etc for a given situation but the ISO is able to be manually manipulated.

Moreover the internet based communication through this enterprise system made it easy for the ELT to coordinate their activities through a single
point of governance between the consultants of gedasUSA and other e–business teams. Thus this communication facilitated by the e–business teams
through the development of web applications to administer their IT projects strengthened Volkswagens operations.
IT alignment is crucial for the growth of businesses and in the case of Volkswagen with several independent units, the alignment of their business with
IT is more needed. This is because with the implementation of IT, it would be more conducive for Volkswagen to record and comprehend sales figures.
Also the communication between these units is needed as they are not integrated throughout the enterprise so a technology based communication
platform is required to align their business strategies. This alignment was achieved to some extent by the establishment of the Business Process,
Technology and Organization (BPTO) which was an internal IT department to manage and prioritize IT projects in coordination with the IT steering
committee (ITSC) which comprised of senior business and IT representative to guide the approval of the process. I feel that the workshop conducted by

Trove Character Analysis
How to properly build a character in Trove
Have you ever asked a player on Trove what their power rank is and was astonished by their answer? Then this is how they got where they are and what
you will need to get your character or character up to the desired level.
The first thing you need to do when it comes to becoming a top Trovain player is to look at what gives the power to you as the player. There are
three big things that make up your characters. The first one is the level of the character. Having a max level thirty character is one of the first things
you need. The second is to keep your eye on your mastery, each level you add to your mastery you get power rank added to all your characters. Thus,

Another key factor you will notice as you are leveling up your character is you are unlocking gem slots. This is key to the power rank portion of
Trove, and that's why you need to be level 30 because by doing so you will have unlocked all gem slots and allow you to insert the maximum number
of gems onto that character.
After talking about leveling and gems a little I will go in a little deeper in the matter. To make sure you can get into the desired portals as you level.
Your face, hat, and weapon you should be changing out with the items you pick up from dungeons if it will give you more power rank. Your end gear
type will be called Stellar gear but you will end up having to buy that from another player using the in–game currency but that will be needed later. So,
in the mean time you will focus on what gear you can find at the end of dungeons. This is also applied to the gems you will get from opening the gem
boxes you receive for completing dungeons. Youwant to equip the highest power ranked gem which is commonly received after opening seventy gem
boxes.
The prime goal of you leveling and stick on gear is to reach ten thousand power rank and be level thirty. You should be able to do such by leveling
the radiant gems up to level fifteen that you will find in Uber eight world. Once you get into Uber nine world with your ten thousand power rank then
you will need to change your game play a little on what gems you will equip

  • 1. Integrated Criteria Decision Making And Multi Criteria... Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Research Report – CS6705 Prioritized Multi–Criteria Decision Making and Multi–Criteria Aggregation By Rizwan Umaid Ali Student # 3494784 Multi–Criteria decision making (MCDM) is an area of Artificial Intelligence which provides capabilities to assess complex decision problems. The decisions can depend on our preferences of some criteria over others. In this report, we analyze formulations of MCDM and Multi–Criteria Aggregation. To further understand this, we also see how we calculate prioritized measure of Multi–Criteria Aggregation and its Shapley index. Introduction For a modern application, reaching satisfaction can depend upon several criteria. Each criteria in it can be satisfied to reach an optimal result, but in real world scenarios satisfying every criteria is impossible and even not required. For example, if a bill needs to be passed by an executive committee, we will need only half of the committee's approval to pass it. This leads us to think that we can reach satisfaction with any set of members of the committee. In fact, there are several cases where certain criteria have a higher priority than others and satisfaction cannot be reached without them. For instance, if the president of the executive committee has to approve the bill and other members just have to favour it, then the president will dominate the other criteria. To logically state this we can say 'Satisfy criterion A and if possible satisfy criterion B'. We ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The above priorities should be well received because they solve or improve many of the frustrating employees around the company. This answer will look at each division (upper management, sales & marketing, order fulfillment and distribution, and ITS) and see why the four IT priorities should be well received by the executive committee. The KL upper management is on record stating that the company has IT challenges "...around coordinating the various, and at times conflicting, business priorities across the enterprise. • 5. Three Main Stages Of Kurt Lewin's Model In Management Kurt Lewin had a good contribution in regard to setting certain model related to management changes. This model has three main stages, starting from unfreezing, moving to changing with refreezing and finally refreezing. This model represents a very easy and practical model to comprehend the change processes, Lewin did clarify that an organization would go through change due an importance which reflects on the organization's level of proficiency and efficiency of work; all of which goes through three stages and ends at the point of adapting the new behaviour after the enhancement process. Lewin's model is still very popular and utilized in many modern models (Morrison, 2014). Unfreeze Lewin's model has three main stages, these stages give ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This process might be critical as at some point some might face a very slow refreezing process, as transaction rarely stops in good shape and without any roughness(Morrison, 2014) . In most advanced organizations this stage considered temporal , as they have another change right by the corner , in this case this stage is not considered as a real refreezing stage, its just there to make the next refreezing stage easier to adapt and accepted(Wirth & , 2004) . However, many organizations find that their staff go through a shock stage due to the change, and that does reflect on their competency level, and their efficiency as well(Burnes, 2004) . Conclusion Lewin's model helps managers to execute the change in their organizations , as this change covers the main three stages of unfreezing, change with refreezing , and refreezing. Lewin's stages gives enough direction to how deal with the change, people and help them to overcome the stages and have stability in the refreezing stage. This does not change the fact, that having cooperative people, who accept the change and embrace it , would make this process kick smoothly and executed in the right way (Morrison, 2014) ... Once projects are prioritized and those priorities are reviewed and discussed, the department can evaluate the results to determine funding and resource allocation for the higher priority projects. A final step involves assessing how and when (or if) to fund the lower priority projects in the future if/when more resources become available. Creating and using a prioritization matrix involves five simple steps: 1. Determine your criteria and rating scale. Therefore FiWi networks having advantages of both users mobility support as well as high bandwidth. But the major problem with this networks is as the number of mobile user's increases, queueing delay is increasing in FiWi's Optical Network Unit (ONU). There are number of methods recently proposed for minimizing this queueing delay for bandwidth allocation. However, this methods are only working on PONs and WLANs and hence not considering the state of ONU. Therefore performance of FiWi networks is poor in terms of throughput and queuing delay. For any kind of FiWi networks improving its performance in terms of throughput is very vital. This can be possible by presenting the efficient queueing delay minimization method for FiWi networks. WHO is working in 150 countries with the mission to provide a healthier life (WHO 2016). The WHO's working strategy is to work with governments and other local and international partners to achieve their mutual health related goals (WHO 2016). To obtain these goals, strongleadership skills and understanding of the local problems is critical for anyone in a decision making position. Mendenhall et al (2012) deliberated that leaders who lead teams at an international level must have the capability to bring change in the organization by not only creating strong linkages within their teams, but also involve with internal and external stakeholders, including counterparts, other leaders, the people from the various governments and organizations they work with. This requires cross–cultural understanding and the ability to work within and across different sectors. For example, not only health, but also governance and education. Eliminate this effect of being pulled like taffy by developing your own time blocking method. There are a few things that you need to consider when it comes to creating time blocks for your schedule. As a physician, you probably have already started using time blocking method as the way to handle patients, but you can put this method to work for you for your entire schedule. Determine Your Priorities The first thing that you need to do is determine what priority level each of your tasks happen to be at for you. Memorable Vacation Essay : My Most Memorable Trip To Dubai MY MOST MEMORABLE VACATION When you think about a vacation it is a calm, serene place away from work and the hustle and bustle of the city. However, that isn't always the case. My most memorable vacation happens to be a trip to the city of Dubai in the summer of 2013. I remember packing for this trip I was so excited. I couldn't explain why so happy and enthusiastic to go, because this would be my umpteenth time of going to Dubai. I was probably excited about shopping but little did I know I was in for a suprise. We arrived in Dubai in the early hours of the morning at around 7am local time. When we stepped out of the airport it was so humid I could hear my skin crack, typical mid–July weather in Dubai. We checked intoKempinski hotel Palm Jumeriah, Dubai. I was starving I couldn't wait to eat so as soon as my suitcases came up, I dashed to the lobby I ran as fast as Usain Bolt for a second. When I got to the lobby I asked the receptionist for the breakfast area she replied, "around the corner to your left sir". I walked swiftly around the corner when I got there I was marvelled by the amount of food they had, I didn't even know where or how to start. I was very hungry so I just took a little of everything. While I was taking my food, I couldn't help but notice the large chocolate fountain they had it looked just like the one in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. What is your assessment of the new process for managing priorities at Volkswagen of America? Are the criticisms justified? Is it an improvement over the old process? We believe that the new process for managing priorities was well structured and aligned with the business goals but with few exceptions. Let's try to understand why? VWoA laid out their five next round of growth goals (NRG) and built a business architecture with the help of different organizational entities to manage priorities of different projects in order to implement these goals. The ELT was given the primary responsibility along with ITSC, PMO, BPTO and DBC playing important roles while selecting and prioritizing projects. The Digital Business Council was to play the most challenging role here as it would work with different Business Unit managers in order to select and prioritize projects, keeping in mind a way to categorize projects, assess their business impact, aligning project with business goals and making tradeoff decisions. The process played out in three phases initiated by PMO. Thus, this process is well structured and would help DBC to consider different trade–offs while selecting and prioritizing projects. The only exception is that we would recommend to include members of VWG while drafting the goal portfolios of the company so that certain projects that impacted on the global level could also be funded. The Four Stages Of Bruce Tuckman's Model Of Group Theory When Bruce Tuckman proposed the model of group development in 1965, the model assumed four stages which include forming–storming–norming–performing stages. However, a fifth model was introduced to encapsulate the already functioning models and this model became known as the adjourning phase (Bauer & Erdogan, 2009, p. 191). This group development stages will now be described below: The first stage in the group development model is the forming stage which is a time when a group officially comes together for the first time. Apparently, it is not uncommon to have a close confidant whom personal or intimate secret can be told. Additionally, it's at the norming stage of the group development that members introduce rules and regulation that determine the functionality of the group. The level of energy in the group at this stage is extremely high that Bauer and Erdogan (2009) recommend that it will be appreciated should the leader step aside and only function as a facilitator to the group whose capability is beyond bound and ready to confront tough challenges with the confidence of scaling through without ... • 23. Volkswagen Of America 's New Process For Managing Priorities Volkswagen of America's new process for managing priorities is much more methodical than how things were done previously. Companies can successfully manage priorities by adhering to the following guidelines: defining the company's value, developing "logical, fact–based prioritization processes", creating frameworks that "resolve resource allocation conflicts... [and] encourage employee collaboration" (Townsend). The new process seemed to follow these guidelines very closely. VWoA identified and ranked business goals and designed a blueprint for the company. The new process called for business units to communicate their projects, which would be laid out against VWoA's blueprint. At this stage, business units could not only see how their projects affected company goals but also how they related to other business unit projects. Business units drew up their own project proposals and ranked them in the order they desired. Projects were then placed in portfolios of enterprise goals and executed in order of portfolio rank. The new process resulted in some business units not seeing any of their projects funded. This resulted in disappointed and distressed unit leads. Complaints regarding the new process asserted that it was "too theoretical" and biased towards IT infrastructure projects. Although there are hypothetical elements in the new process, any process for managing priorities cannot be one hundred percent certain; the process serves only as a guide to reach desired outcomes. ... • 24. Analysis Of Blomberg 's ' The King Of The Mountain... This week's reading takes a more in depth look at the current synoptic problem. Blomberg lightly discusses the main hypotheses (Oxford, Griesbach, and Q) by engaging in their strengths and weaknesses alike. He also discusses the possible synoptic sources, mainly "L", "M", and "Q". He does briefly relay some more historical figures, early church fathers mostly, and their seemingly archaic views on synoptic priority compared to the scholastic achievements in more recent eras. McKnight gives a closer look at the Oxford or "two–source" hypothesis. He strives to show the Oxford hypothesis as winning the king–of–the–mountain scholastic debate using the various scholars who have debated the heaviest in favor of the Markan priority, mainly Streeter. Even as passionately as McKnight stands on this on–going biblical debate, Farmer gives just as obsessive a plea for Matthean priority as he discusses the Griesbach or "two–gospel" hypothesis. However, Farmer puts his discussion into terms less eloquently than McKnight does. Farmer very succinctly plots his discussion into steps as if teaching to a room of theological second–graders. While, as a scientist myself, I can appreciate the calculative style he uses to win the spot at the top of the mountain, I feel that this debate is scarcely that simple of an answer. The synoptic problem itself still challenges me. When this debate was first revealed to me in an undergraduate course, a most basic biblical overview, I fancied myself on the ... A Reflection On Capstone Nursing Practicum As N412L: Capstone Nursing Practicum comes to a close, I can reflect on my clinical experiences in this course and my progress towards meeting my defined behavioral objectives. At the beginning of this course, I set goals for myself, of which I planned to accomplish by the time this term came to a close. These objectives included: effective communication of the patient's care summary in SBAR format, safe and efficient administration of intravenous medications, successful performance of tracheostomy care, and accurate physical assessment and patient monitoring. While I still have much to learn as I step into the role of a graduate nurse, I have accomplished my behavioral objectives for this semester. Description Throughout the second half of the semester, I have not made any significant changes to my pre–clinical routine. I still prepare and gather my supplies the evening beforehand, and I try to avoid during schoolwork in order to facilitate restful sleep. However, upon arriving to the unit, I have developed a familiarity with the staff and environment that has reduced my stress and anxiety levels, allowing me to focus more attention on my patient assignment for the day. Although we do not have assigned preceptors, I have developed a mentoring relationship with two of the nurses on the unit and will work with those staff members if available. • 27. The Negative Effects Of Animals In Zoos Negative Effects of Animals in Zoos Zoos, often described as establishments with indoor and outdoor settings where live animals are kept, play a vital role in conserving wild species. Zoo establishments serve the purpose of educating zoo visitors about animals and for providing those animals with proper care, but they are typically used for public exhibition. Most people see zoos as places to take their children to learn more about animals, and as a form of entertainment by allowing people to walk around and look at animals in cages. Others see zoos as places that confine animals from their natural habitat, and as places that interfere with the natural order of the animals. There are many factors that contribute to the negative effects of animals being in zoos, most being the zoo's management, faculty, and the visitors. How zoo faculties are managed is one of the many ways that animals in zoos can be affected negatively. According to Smit, "[t]he obvious managerial goal with such facilities is to achieve a level of integration of facilities and services, but a level of integration which is driven by the needs of animals in any given zoological facility" (Smit). Smit believes that facilities and services should be combined in a way that has a favorable effect towards the animals. An example of this would be when animal cages are built to accommodate their inhabitants (Smit). Animal cages must be structured well enough for the safety of the animals and in a way that the ... An invention in general must fulfill certain criteria in order to be protected by a patent. For example, the Patents Act, 1970 in S. 2(1) (j) defines invention as a new product or process involving an inventive step and capable of industrial application. In other words, an invention in order to be patentable must show an element of novelty, must show "an inventive step", and must be of practical use. Particularly, the Patents Act, 1970 defines "inventive step" as a feature of an invention that involves technical advance as compared to the existing knowledge or having economic significance or both and that makes the invention not obvious to a person skilled in the art. Q1) During the 10 years from 1992 through 2002, VWoA considered IT as a source of overhead and prioritized more on marketing and selling activities by allocating all the available funds. Significantly, he empowered PMO (program management Office) that focuses on proper planning prior to execution phase in order to generate on–schedule and on–budget projects. Several Organizational entities played a role in creating and managing a new process for managing priorities at VWoA. The focus of new process have been on aligning IT projects with Organizational goals i.e., each of the top three projects of business units should map to one of the major enterprise goals. Numerous methods for giving public transport priority have been researched and discussed. Examples are provided where those techniques are implemented and their performance is evaluated. Research proves that priority to public transport in urban areas is feasible and can lead to reduced travel times while having a minor impact on the traffic network. 1.Introduction As cities are expanding and traffic congestion is increasing, there is growing demand for more regular and efficient public transport. This is in part to reduce pollution and noise levels (European Commision Dictorate–General for Environment, 2004). European policy–makers and investors have in fact influenced a modal shift towards more public, rather than private transport in recent years (Bund, n.d.). Traffic engineering involves the planning and management of urban road infrastructures and networks (Institute of Transportation Engineers, 1999) for various modes of transport, such as vehicles (private, public and commercial), bicycles and pedestrians. Its purpose is to find solutions to transport infrastructures in order to provide the best transport systems for people and goods in terms of cost, time, safety and environmental impact. While interviewing by person, participants might think that they were considered a good eyewitness and good eyewitness supposed to give the right details. Therefore, they have more confidence in themselves and are more likely to do better than completing the task on papers. Process For Managing Project Priorities Managing IT Priorities VWOA Process for managing Project Priorities Company develops the process of priorities to stay gather the information of which project would impact the company and would achieve their goals in the future and maximize business. With that being said prioritizing projects is the key to be successful in the business, to develop that strategy a company should allocate it resources in various explicit projects and their implementation. The process of deciding and which project should be priority based on business requirements and goals could be a very difficult decision. Since, every project in the company holds importance but because there is a budget which is funded the departments have to select those project priorities to maximize their budgets and fulfill business goals In this case VWOA had two processes one was the old process and the other was the new process. Therefore, the best amount of leveling may occur when both the total cost and the total duration are minimised. Generally, the total cost of a project will greatly depended on the total duration. In other words, in most cases, a plan with minimum total project duration will stand for the best amount of leveling. The best amount of leveling should take a balanced view with concern about the client 's demands, the project objects and the availability of different types of resources. For single resource, in small projects, their resource could be leveled by inspection; in larger projects is to select a target maximum for a resource. Moreover, when dealing with multiple resources, managers should decide which resource should be leveled first, i.e., largest fluctuating resources, resource with largest penality, high cost equipment. Other resource leveling method include extending the project duration, compressing activities, and splitting activities. Although it is ideal to have each task started and finished in the earliest period, this situation may not be found in real cases. In most of time, the resource required to launching multiple tasks is greater than the maximum available resources. Consequently, some tasks have to be delayed to start after others are finished. Merriam Webster defines noise as "any sound that is undesired or interferes with one's hearing of something." Noise can arise from a range of objects. This can include but is not limited to people, machinery or everyday common objects such as a pencil sharpener. Whilenoise constantly surrounds us, it is when there is a large amount of a loud level of noise that it begins to impede our ability to interpret and follow speech. The American Speech–Language Hearing Association outlines the levels of noise that are comfortable for noise. Noise is measured in decibels (dB), and a range anywhere from 0 to 70 dB is considered normal. Anything above 85 dB can lead to eventual hearing loss. While the level of noise within a classroom is well within the normal range, this just goes to show that noise can have a strong effect on our health. It comes to no surprise then that noise can lead to difficulty with attention and learning in classrooms. Now we must explore what the possible noises in a classroom may be. It can range anywhere from outside noise such as cars passing by to the chairs scrapping on the floor. Noise for a classroom is often described in two categories: external and internal noises.
