- 2. Different Film Institutions • There are many different film institutions • You have the ‘Big Six’ • You also have many independent film institutions

- 4. Universal Pictures produced the film ‘Jurassic Park’ and the Budget was $63,000,000
- 5. ‘arieScope Pictures’ produced the film ‘Frozen’ (2010) and the Budget has never been listed, but it is classed as a ‘Low Budget’ film.
- 6. Box Office Results • Jurassic Park made £32,723,932 in the first weekend in the UK alone and in total has grossed over $402,348,347 in 2013. • Frozen (2010) made only $131,395 in the first weekend and the gross total is $243,390 as of November 2013.
- 7. Universal Pictures are a very well know film institution and are part of the ‘Big Six’. On the other hand arieScope Pictures are much lesser known as they only work on small projects that aren’t expected to make a lot of money and can’t compete with big blockbuster films.
- 8. Differences in Low/High Budget Films • The budget is the main difference between High/Low budget films as a smaller budget can really limit what your are capable of producing as institutions such as universal pictures can afford to create big action packed films. • The amount of people apart of the production is greatly different between different size institutions. A bigger production team will, in turn, open up more opportunities and hopefully result in a bigger blockbuster film.
- 9. Similarities in Low/High budget Films • The budget will come from the institutions making the films • The same production jobs will be available but in smaller teams
- 10. Universal Pictures • Universal pictures have made many famous films including the ‘Fast and Furious’ series and ‘The Bourne’ films. • The vast majority of Universal Pictures films are very successful and are all big budget films.
- 11. arieScope Pictures • arieScope Pictures haven't produced too many films but one is Hatchet (II) • Not many of their films are successful like Universal Pictures.
