Over the last three years, the iTP3 project has supported 20 innovators across the county to develop bold and creative program-based approaches to teen pregnancy prevention. Through the use of design thinking and systems thinking, innovators developed programs that meet their intended target population's needs while also addressing the larger systems in place that support healthy and successful adolescents. Through the design process, technology emerged as a supportive programmatic component for many of the iTP3 innovators. During this presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the variety of ways iTP3 innovators have incorporated technology into their overall program design and how youth directly informed the type and purpose of technology for many of these programs. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to experience a guided design thinking activity to consider additional ways technology can be used to support prevention.
