2. The Narrative of the video focuses on the one without depression (person A). The opening sequence
opens with establishing shots of person A & B houses and the locations a park and a bus stop.
Person B begins to unfriend person A as he is mean to him as his thoughts get the better of him. This
pushes Person B away from A leaving Person A isolated and alone. Person A begins to feel sad as he
feels alone and isolated. To make matters worse, Person B kills himself as the depression gets too much.
Making person B’s sadness worse. The death of Person B will be implied and not show on camera.
Flashbacks from Persons A’s reaction to his death and the beginnings of his struggle. He continues his
normal life but getting sadder and sadder as the days go on. The shots will get quicker and quicker to
show his patients running out.
The ending will be him getting to a stage where he needs help from others so he calls childline as he has
no one left to turn to. Close up of the artist singing the chorus ‘i wanna die’ to build up the suspense. The
final scene will be Person B talking to another teenager at school (who he ‘will’ become friends with)
showing that you should always fight the depression rather than let it beat you which is the message we
