Desafortunadamente, no hay una norma establecida para
formarlos. A continuación tienes los tres verbos irregulares más
comunes y los que actúan como verbos auxiliares.
Structure (Estructura)
1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)
Ejemplos:
She was a doctor. (Ella era doctora.)
The keys were in the drawer. (Las llaves estaban en el cajón.)
I wanted to dance. (Quería bailar.)
He learned English. (Aprendieron inglés.)

To be:
Ejemplos:
She wasn't a doctor. (Ella no era doctora.)
The keys weren't in the drawer. (Las llaves no estaban en el cajón.)
3. Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)
To be:
Ejemplos:
Was she a doctor? (¿Ella era doctora?)
Were the keys in the drawer? (¿Estaban las llaves en el cajón?)
Examples
I was at my Gran's house yesterday.
You were late for school this morning.
She was with her friends last Saturday.
We were tired yesterday.

Where didi you go last vacation?
I went to England.
How long were you there?

7. De cualquier manera de cualquier modo (singular)
De todas maneras De todos modos (plural)
Ejemplos:
I don't like it anyway - "de todos modos, a mí no me gusta "
anyway, I wasn't thinking of going - "igual de todos modos, yo no
pensaba ir "
Normalmente se usa 'anyway' cuando se quiere cambiar el tema.
Por ejemplo si tu amigo/a hablara de un tema que no te
interesara como las elecciones (un ejemplo!!) podrías decir:
"Anyway, what are you going to do this weekend?"
