This document provides a self-introduction from students Natasha, Urooj Fatima, and Khadija in 10th class studying computers. Computer: is an
electronic machine/device

First computer was invented
by China in 1940.
Abacus was the first device.
It was a huge machine.
PC(personal computer)
Which is invented by
IBM(international business machines) in 1981.
It mainly consist of system unit.

7. Monitor
 Monitor is an output device. it displays information on the
screen.
 It is main part to See the result.
 The output which is displays on
the screen is called Soft copy.

8. C.P.U
(central processing unit)
•System unit is a box where,
processing task place.
•It is consist of different
electronic components are main:
circuit board, power supply,
processor, storage devices e.t.c
•It protects electronic
components from damage.

9. Keyboard
•Keyboard is a the most usually
used input device.
•It is used to enter data ,program &
instructions into the computer.
•A standard keyboard is divided
into following sections:
1) Alphabetic keys
2) Function keys
3) Numeric keys
4) Navigation keys /cursor control
keys

•Mouse is an input device.
•It is used for controlling screen
course.
•It has two or three buttons on
its top & a ball inside its body.
•The ball rotates as the mouse is
rolled over the flat surface or a
mouse pad.
•The mouse cursor moves on
the screen.
