This document describes Cosmas Research Lab Limited, which manufactures antibiotics and pharmaceutical preparations. 3.  Cosmas Group of Companies was established in 1994 as a humble drug formu
lation unit at Ludhiana, the industrial hub of Punjab (India). Today, it has t

An analytical balance is used to
measure mass to a high degree of
precision and accuracy.
 An analytical balance is able to measure
down to the ten thousand of a gram.
 The measuring pan of an analytical
balance is inside a transparent
enclosure with doors so that dust does
not collect and so any air currents in
the room do not affect the balance's
operation.
 They require a draft-free location on a
solid bench that is free of vibrations.
Some modern balances have built-in
calibration masses to maintain
accuracy.

6.  A pH meter is an electronic instrument
used for measuring the pH (acidity or
alkalinity) of a liquid (though special
probes are sometimes used to measure
the pH of semi-solid substances).
 The pH meter measures the difference
in electrical potential between a pH
electrode and a reference electrode,
and so the pH meter is sometimes
referred to as a "potentiometric pH
meter".
 The pH scale range is 0 to 14.
 The pH meter is used in many
applications ranging from laboratory
experimentation to quality control.

12.  HPLC, is a chromatographic technique that
can separate a mixture of compounds and is
used in biochemistry and analytical
chemistry to identify, quantify and purify the
individual components of the mixture.
 HPLC typically utilizes different types of
stationary phases contained in columns.
 HPLC contain a pump that moves the mobile
phase and sample components through the
column.
 HPLC contain detector that count the area.
