The Impala is a medium-sized antelope found in eastern and southern Africa, identifiable by its white muzzle and long horns on males. They live in open grasslands and woodlands near water, can run up to 50 mph, jump 20-30 feet, and feed on grass, herbs, and leaves. Though endangered due to hunting, Impalas live in herds of up to 400 and can live 13 years in the wild or 15 years in captivity.
