Gorillas are the largest animals in the ape family, can weigh up to three times a human, and live in habitats ranging from rainforests to mountains in western central Africa and parts of Uganda. Gorillas have hands similar to humans, beat their chests as a warning, and resemble humans in some physical ways. Baby gorillas are born small, covered in blood, and suckle their mother's milk.
