Impact of NEP 2020 on Secondary Education

ABSTRACT
Well-defined and nice training guidelines at the school level are
important, as schooling ends in monetary and social development. the
new policy coverage introduced using the authorities of India (NEP
2020) was a welcome trade and sparkling information in all the
terrible circumstances surrounding the arena. The assertion of NEP
2020 came as an entire marvel to many. The modifications advocated
with the aid of NEP 2020 had been something many educators had
never seen before, at the same time as schooling coverage has
impacted schools and higher schooling equally, this text focuses
generally on NEP 2020 and its implications for better education. The
paper additionally evaluations the salient capabilities of NEP and
analyses how it influences existing schooling structures. Eventually,
a few guidelines are made for powerful implementations to achieve
the goal.

INTRODUCTION
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is the
primary schooling system coverage of the 21st
century, changing the 34th Education policy of 1986.
The key pillars of education coverage are Quality,
Equity, Access, Affordability, and Accountability.
This education policy to targets make the education
system extra holistically and inclusive for sustainable
development. Its essential objective is to carry out the
inherent capacity of each student to transform India
into a colorful understanding society and global
expertise powerhouse. Within the previous faculty
education device, three-year children were now not
blanketed within the area of schooling because
training started from the age of six, however, inside
the framework of the new training system, number
one training is a sturdy foundation. The purpose of
that is normal training development and welfare.
National education policy 2020 about two crore

the existing education system. This research is a

the corporate sector to shape vocational education
curriculum to make it a success. NEP has reassuringly
provisioned real-time evaluation systems and a
consultative monitoring and review framework. This
shall empower the education system to constantly
reform itself, instead of expecting a new education
policy every decade for a shift in curriculum. This
will be a remarkable achievement.

proven leaders in regulating bodies, and strict
monitoring of quality through biennial accreditation
based on self-declaration of progress through
technology-based monitoring, NEP-2020 is expected
to fulfill its objectives by 2030.
Venkateshwarlu. (2021) Conducted a study on the A
Critical Study of NEP 2020: Issues, Approaches,
Challenges, Opportunities, and Criticism. The
objective of the study is the policy aims to transform
India's education system by 2021. National Education
Policy of India 2020 is marching towards achieving
such an objective by making innovative policies to
improve the quality, attractiveness, and affordability,
and increasing the supply by opening higher
education for the private sector and at the same time
with strict controls to maintain qualityin every higher
education institution. Faculty members also get the
autonomy to choose curriculum, methodology,
pedagogy, and evaluation models within the given
policy framework. These transformations will start
from the academic year 2021-22 and will continue
until the year 2030 when the first level of
transformation is expected too visible.
Methodology of the research:
The observation is descriptive research to have a look
at the required secondary information had been
collected from diverse websites which include Indian
government websites, journals, magazines, and other
guides. That information has been analyzed and
proven to reach conclusions.
Features of NEP Related to Secondary Education:

1. Foundation Stage

language and math skills at an early age. The
