3. Introduction
Digital media and Online medium connect the teachers with each other globally, with any
restriction of boundary. This interconnectivity makes them enable to integrate educational stuff a
nd promote better understanding for teaching and learning practices. These practices may help
elementary teachers to teach their students with the help of modern methods of teaching, on the
other hand students get able to know and use new and modern technologies by hand.
The study of Digital media and technology integration is effective for the teachers and student ,
technology integrate change the classroom dynamics, develop the student interest ,encourage the
student and teacher center learning.
Therefore, this research is a kind of little effort to realize the probable impact of this Digital
media on the students and teachers in relation to their academic performance. This research also
analyzes the utilization of Digital Media sites by elementary school teachers on their lesson
planning, or to engage their students in active learning participation through digital media .
4. Problemstatement
Meanwhile the advent of Digital Media in the 1990s, somehow it is presumed that t
he academic routine and the performances of Elementary school’s students is facin
g neglect and their attention has been diverse. In fact, their educational and intellect
ual sprit has been hanging between Digital Media or SNS activities and their acade
mic effort. It is also been observed that students give more devotion to SNS than th
ey are doing to their educations. Therefore, this research is a kind of little effort to r
ealize the probable impact of this Digital Media on the students and teachers in rela
tion to their academic performance. This research also analyzes the utilization of Di
gital Media sites by elementary school teachers on their lesson planning, or to enga
ge their students in active learning participation through digital media .

• Action ( I ): Report 1 Reconnaissance
(Date: 6:Nov:2020) First I meet to Head mistress and introduce my self and give consent letter to HM
. Also explain about my topic and discuss further problems. After discussion I am taking permission for
doing Action Research in their school. Head mistress of school accept my letter and she also allowed
me for conducting my Action Research She also understand me and give good response.
Further action for my next intervention or success of research study is based on interview
Questionnaire for science teacher.
• ACTION ( II ) REPORT (Interview Questionnaire for Science Teacher)
(Date: 7. Nov.2020) To conduct interview on the format of open ended. I prepared almost seven ques
tion regarding the use of digital media and its integration.
The Aim of this questionnaire is to use of digital media in student learning. Teacher give response of m
y all questions .she tells me about her subject and also tell me she did not use ICT and Digital media be
cause of that the recourses is not available. After action research in the form of observation or question
naire session researcher observed that , the teacher is less involved with digital teaching and learning.

The present report is conducted on (dated 15/Nov/20 ), To observe the teachers and students on
what ways they engaged in learning process, and to analyze how teachers engaged in learning. Eit
her they use digital ads during lecture or not. If so , then to what extent they employed these digit
al ads. The outcomes recorded by observation, that during the classroom students were making n
oise and talking with each other, have less interest in classroom and teachers was using old metho
dology teaching from textbook as reading without any activity.
Data analyze of before action Pre-Checklist (Student)
16. Result or Findings on Pre-checklist:
Student can easily understand the topic, teacher have strong grip on relevant topic to
introduced it.
teachers intended to clear students' concept regarding the topic. Students understands topic
Teacher have sound knowledge in class management so some how students were engaged in
class during the lesson.
Teachers were not got to use of ICT while delivering the topic
Teacher used traditional method of teaching, so researcher was unable to find any use of
variety of strategy.
Teachers did not apply any investigative method to check previous knowledge of topic.
Some how teacher provide opportunities to share creative ideas regarding topic, which shows
that students were quite engage during the class.
Students were somehow collaborative with each other as well as with teachers.
At the end of class teacher did not give any feedback or provide any summative note to the
class either its conclusion or homework. So, there is no feedback at the end of the class.

20. • Conclusion
As a researcher I find out and observe that digital media could change the mode of education.
As we all know that its an era which considered to be globalized. This globalization is only due
to the digitalization . the more you digitalized the more you able to educate , teach and learn.
This study highlights the pros and cons of digital media effects in education. As over all study c
onclude on that lack of digital media resources in school, its causes great lose of learning. Teac
hers were unable to utilize new media tools in classroom, students were unable to related with
STEM (science, technology, English, math’s) in a proper way. Also, they interact with others be
fore and after the class .
21. • Finding
The result of the study finds out that there is a significant difference in the performance
teachers and students in Government elementary school as a result of their use of digital
media. teachers don’t use digital media for academic purposes such as assignment, shari
ng of ideas, discussing class work activities etc.
While conducting the interviews, it was very clear that the teachers were not using digi
tal media in their lesson plans and delivering lessons. some of the teachers had a real fe
edback regarding digital media as well.
22. Recommendation
Education is a continuous development process, and it should provide knowledge according to the need of
modern era.
Some recommendations are describe as given below after analyzing this research:
Government should provide funds for digital media resources
Government should take initiatives to provide laptop, internet and other accessories related with digital
media to students. As students can enable to use digital media by themselves
Schools should make their budget with digital media resources
Workshop should be arranged for teachers to make them enable to utilized digital media properly.
Computer and other laboratories should be established for better learning.
Teachers should design their lesson plans in a way where they can use digital media frequently.
There should be a weekend class where students and teacher could engage with digital media collaborat
ively.
The use of digital media should also be regularized in national curriculum.
