they are stood with their hands on their hips and smiling
suggests that they have won something and are proud to
play football which makes the readers think girls can be just
as good at sport especially football in this case as boys.

suggests that they have won something large for

being. The clapping of the fans hands shows that
they are celebrating. The trophy is the main object
in this photo as it has been positioned in the
centre of the page which immediately grabs the

shopping centre being built. You can see that its
an exciting time because in the top centre of the
image there is a man on a rope waving his arms
suggesting that the long wait is nearly over and it
will soon be completed. The readers can see that
the main purpose of this image is to inform them
of the newly released name. This is shown by the
large bold font in capitalized letters making it
stand out to the pale blue background. This also
gives the readers a picture of what the text is
going to be about before reading it so will know
whether or not it is going to interest them.
