This document summarizes a study on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the libraries of agricultural universities in Western India. It finds that while ICT adoption is increasing, there is still room for improvement. The study collected data from the librarians of 8 agricultural universities through questionnaires and interviews. It assessed the level of library automation, infrastructure, services offered, and training needs of staff. The study observed a range of ICT implementations across universities and developed a conceptual model for increased collaboration and resource sharing between the agricultural university libraries through consortia and networking.
The present era is an information era which has its base on information and communication
technologies. The ICT acts as a soul for all kinds of information processes may be it information
processing, storage, maintenance and dissemination. The ICT has made its influence in all walks of
life, libraries and information centres are not an exception. Use of ICT in libraries has become
inevitable in an era of information explosion and the emergence of a wide range of new
technologies in order to satisfy the changing complex information needs of users. The ICT has
provided libraries with an opportunity to provide various information services and access to huge
collection of digital information resources to their patrons at any time without any boundary oftime and location. Thus the undertaken study focuses on impact of ICT in libraries. Further the
study will examine the use of information communicationtechnology (ICT) in IITs & IIMs libraries
in India by investigating the ICT infrastructure, current statusof library automation

Abstract Indian Agriculture is an economic symbiosis of crop production and animal rearing. In India 70 percent population and their livelihood is depending upon the agriculture. Same scenario is applicable for Tripura as well as the same North East India. Agriculture is an important sector in the economy of the North East Region (NER), with its share in state domestic product (SDP) ranging from 19 percent to 37 percent in different states. In Tripura the total population of 70% population and their livelihood is dependents on the agriculture. The paper contributes to the effectual research is very necessary and their implacability to continued development process in agriculture at Tripura. On the other aspects is animal, husbandry which is really substitute occupation for agriculture. one is dependent on another. Animal Husbandry is a state subject and the State Governments are primarily responsible for the growth of the sector. The Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries has, however, been operating 30 Central Livestock Organizations and allied Institutions for production and distribution of superior germ plasms to the State Governments for cross breeding and genetic upgradation of the stocks. Besides, the Department has been implementing 11 Central Sector and Centrally Sponsored Schemes for the development of requisite infrastructure and supplementing the efforts of the State Governments for achieving the accelerated growth of animal husbandry sector. The study mainly focuses the issues of problems ,present status of animal husbandry and agriculture sector in Tripura. Keyword: Animal Husbandry, crossbreed Cattle, Research Priorities, Sri (System Rice intensification) etc.

In the professional literature, the term consortia cover a great range of cooperation situation and expressions according to the different contexts and period they were formed and developed. It has long been a precept of librarianship; however libraries have not used it widely until about the 1980s. The prime reason of establishing a library consortium is to share physical resources between member organizations. Through consortia, libraries are coordinating their purchasing to offer the best quality and quantity of resources to their patrons at a lower cost and also to make them available on users’ desktops. “Consortium purchasing is assisting libraries to deal with the increasing pressure of diminishing budgets, increasing user demand, and rising journal cost”

EFFECT OF DIGITAL LITERACY ON INFORMATION SEEKING BEHAVIOUR AMONG MANAGERS OF...IAEME Publication
This paper highlights the effect of Digital literacy on digital information seeking
behaviour and use among managers of telecommunication companies in Saudi Arabia.
The study adopts a quantitative research approach. The researcher uses information
from the survey to generalise findings from a sample to a population. A sample size of
500 was anticipated from the total population of approximately 850 managers from the
four telecommunication companies. For the primary data collection in this study, a
survey questionnaire was employed. The findings indicate a positive effect of digital
literacy. The emergence of digital information disseminations in a digital knowledgebased system yielded improved skills and capabilities for both individuals and
organisations in information use. The use of a single-informant method, a crosssectional research design and a focus on four telecommunication companies in Saudi
Arabia are the constraints of this study

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
