The educational publishing market in India is large and growing, estimated at $175 million currently. Several factors are driving growth, including a growing economy, increasing education budgets and R&D spending, new university development, and the formation of library consortia to improve access to scholarly publications. The higher education system produces over 1.6 million graduates and research students annually across various disciplines like arts, science, engineering and more.

Indian higher education is experiencing rapid growth in student enrollment. Currently over 15 million students are enrolled but the government aims to increase this to 30 million by 2030. There is also a large flow of Indian students studying abroad, particularly in the US at the graduate level. However, the higher education system in India faces challenges like shortages of faculty. It is estimated there is currently a shortage of over 300,000 faculty positions across institutions. Expanding access while improving quality and addressing faculty shortages will be key needs and challenges for Indian higher education in the future.

Early Career Faculties (ECFs) are an important demographic of university faculty population shaping the future of the institution and higher education, despite the challenges they face as new academics. Analysis of scholarly output on ECFs offers useful data to inform and aid both national policy formulations and institutional planning decisions especially in ECFs’ support and development. Peer-reviewed high impact journals and academic databases provide highly valid and reliable sources of data and information on ECFs. This study examines the trend of ECFs research over two decades comparing scholarly output and research impact across global regions, in Web of Science and Scopus Elsevier. The bibliometric analysis highlights key topics of research and publications related to ECFs and identify the regions and countries most actively research on the topic. The trend of research on ECFs has been found to increase exponentially beginning the 1990s worldwide, mostly from western institutions (76%). Publications after the year 2012 focused more on issues related to ECFs’ preparation towards life in academia, their motivation, and challenges, the support structure for ECFs and strategies to adapt to life as faculty members. Such bibliometric analysis findings can be a useful reference for policy formulation within national or regional systems of higher education, and institutional strategic planning.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant burden on healthcare systems causing disruption to medical and surgical training of doctors globally. Aims and objectives: This is the first international survey assessing the perceived impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on training of doctors of all grades and specialties. Methods: An online global survey was disseminated using Survey Monkey® between 4th August 2020 and 17th November 2020. A global network of collaborators facilitated participant recruitment. Data was collated anonymously with informed consent and analysed using univariate and adjusted multivariable analysis. Results: 743 doctors of median age 27 (IQR: 25-30) were included with the majority (56.8%, n=422) being male. Two-thirds of doctors were in a training post (66.5%, n=494), 52.9% (n=393) in a surgical specialty and 53.0% (n= 394) in low- and middle-income countries. Sixty-nine point two percent (n=514) reported an overall perceived negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their training. A significant decline was noted among non-virtual teaching methods such as face-to-face lectures, tutorials, ward-based teaching, theatre sessions, conferences, simulation sessions and morbidity and mortality meetings (p≤0.05). Low or middle-income country doctors' training was associated with perceived inadequate supervision while performing invasive procedures under general, local or regional anaesthetic. (p≤0.05) CONCLUSION: In addition to the detrimental impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare infrastructure, this international survey reports a widespread perceived overall negative impact on medical and surgical doctors' training globally. Ongoing adaptation and innovation will be required to enhance the approach to doctors' training and learning in order to ultimately improve patient care.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant burden on healthcare systems causing disruption to medical and surgical training of doctors globally. Aims and objectives: This is the first international survey assessing the perceived impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on training of doctors of all grades and specialties. Methods: An online global survey was disseminated using Survey Monkey® between 4th August 2020 and 17th November 2020. A global network of collaborators facilitated participant recruitment. Data was collated anonymously with informed consent and analysed using univariate and adjusted multivariable analysis. Results: 743 doctors of median age 27 (IQR: 25-30) were included with the majority (56.8%, n=422) being male. Two-thirds of doctors were in a training post (66.5%, n=494), 52.9% (n=393) in a surgical specialty and 53.0% (n= 394) in low- and middle-income countries. Sixty-nine point two percent (n=514) reported an overall perceived negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their training. A significant decline was noted among non-virtual teaching methods such as face-to-face lectures, tutorials, ward-based teaching, theatre sessions, conferences, simulation sessions and morbidity and mortality meetings (p≤0.05). Low or middle-income country doctors' training was associated with perceived inadequate supervision while performing invasive procedures under general, local or regional anaesthetic. (p≤0.05) CONCLUSION: In addition to the detrimental impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare infrastructure, this international survey reports a widespread perceived overall negative impact on medical and surgical doctors' training globally. Ongoing adaptation and innovation will be required to enhance the approach to doctors' training and learning in order to ultimately improve patient care.

order to data collection we used Esham (2008) industry questionnaire that its final coefficient was on the
basis of cronbach Alpha (α=0.86) method, and it is justified by 5 experts in the field of relation of
industry and university and 5 sophisticated professors of sports management. the statistical universe of
this research consists the all Islamic Azad University Iran of sports product in Iran (N=302) that
according to Morgan’s table the 169 universe were the random patterns of this research to analyze the
data we used descriptive method (distribution, average, standard deviation, depicting of diagram) and
deductive method (Freidman test). The result of this analysis showed: the more important relationship
between Islamic Azad Universities included Contract research and consulting. Factors academic
problems, Cooperation and finally of research were the main obstacles of relationship between these two
subjects. According to Academics, the main policy to improve the relationship Islamic Azad Universities
with industry in part of sports productive industry is the government tax reduction for companies which

- 3. Educational facts on India India have the third largest higher education system in the world, behind China and the United States. More than 630 universities, over 33000 affiliated colleges, 22000 professors and 1,69,74,883 students including 16,602 research students. The national annual budget for education is USD 10.30 billion. Commanding market force: India’s GDP is projected to surpass that of the US and Japan and be second only to China by 2050. Growing budgets: The institutional market in India for journal subscriptions is estimated at $175 million and growing. Investment in R&D: In 2011, India pledged to double its R&D expenditures to 2% of GDP over the next five years. New institutions: The Indian government has announced the building of some five dozen new institutions of higher learning. New library consortia: Newly formed consortia are improving access to and increasing demand for scholarly publications.
