This document summarizes a research study on implementing trust mechanisms for peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. It proposes dividing the P2P network into overlapping organizations with unique features to establish trust relationships. Within each organization, trust evaluations between peers are determined through peer ratings and reviews, which are adjusted based on peers' evaluation abilities. Across organizations, a global trust evaluation approach is used. The proposed model aims to strongly protect against malicious peers while minimizing costs during network changes. Simulations demonstrated the model makes fewer errors during searches and has strong protection capabilities at low re-convergence costs.
Security and Privacy Measurements in Social Networks: Experiences and Lessons...FACE
We describe our experience gained while exploring practical security and privacy problems in a real-world, large- scale social network (i.e., Facebook), and summarize our conclu- sions in a series of “lessons learned”. We first conclude that it is better to adequately describe the potential ethical concerns from the very beginning and plan ahead the institutional review board (IRB) request. Even though sometimes optional, the IRB approval is a valuable point from the reviewer’s perspective. Another aspect that needs planning is getting in touch with the online social network security team, which takes a substantial amount of time. With their support, “bending the rules” (e.g., using scrapers) when the experimental goals require so, is easier. Clearly, in cases where critical technical vulnerabilities are found during the research, the general recommendations for responsible disclosure should be followed. Gaining the audience’s engagement and trust was essential to the success of our user study. Participants felt more comfortable when subscribing to our experiments, and also responsibly reported bugs and glitches. We did not observe the same behavior in crowd-sourcing workers, who were instead more interested in obtaining their rewards. On a related point, our experience suggests that crowd sourcing should not be used alone: Setting up tasks is more time consuming than it seems, and researchers must insert some sentinel checks to ensure that workers are not submitting random answers.
From a logistics point of view, we learned that having at least a high-level plan of the experiments pays back, especially when the IRB requires a detailed description of the work and the data to be collected. However, over planning can be dangerous because the measurement goals can change dynamically. From a technical point of view, partially connected to the logistics remarks, having a complex and large data-gathering and analysis framework may be counterproductive in terms of set-up and management overhead. From our experience we suggest to choose simple technologies that scale up if needed but, more importantly, can scale down. For example, launching a quick query should be straightforward, and the frameworks should not impose too much overhead for formulating it. We conclude with a series of practical recommendations on how to successfully collect data from online social networks (e.g., using techniques for network multi presence, mimicking user behavior, and other crawling “tricks”’) and avoid abusing the online service, while gathering the data required by the experiments.
Online Social Networking has gained tremendous popularity amongst the masses. It is usual for the users
of Online Social Networks (OSNs) to share information with friends however they lose privacy. Privacy has
become an important concern in online social networks. Users are unaware of the privacy risks involved
when they share their sensitive information in the network.[1] One of the fundamental challenging issues is
measurement of privacy .It is hard for social networking sites and users to make and adjust privacy settings
to protect privacy without practical and effective way to quantify , measure and evaluate privacy. In this
paper, we discussed Privacy Index (PIDX) which is used to measure a user’s privacy exposure in a social
network. We have also described and calculated the Privacy Quotient (PQ) i.e. a metric to measure the
privacy of the user’s profile using the naive approach. [2] The users should be aware of their privacy
quotient and should know where they stand in the privacy measuring scale. At last we have proposed a
model that will ensure privacy in the unstructured data. It will utilize the Item Response Theory model to
measure the privacy leaks in the messages and text that is being posted by the users of the online social
networking sites.

In spite of the security control strategies implemented by these organizations to safeguard their information resources, there has been an upsurge in information security breaches as a result of existing vulnerabilities in these systems and the legacy systems in use. Various approaches have been employed to deal with security challenges in BYOD, but according to literature, risk assessment has proved to be the first key step towards improving security of the BYOD environment in an enterprise. Risk assessment models have been proposed by various researchers, although, most are largely influenced by the degree of technological advancement and utilization as well as the working cultures within institutions. The existing models were largely developed in technologically advanced countries and thus do not fit well in developing countries. This study sought to develop flexible BYOD risk assessment model that can be adopted by varied institutions to secure their information resources. The study was carried out in Five (5) purposively selected state universities in Kenya. The research adopted a mixed research design approach with mixed sampling technique utilized to select the participants. Reliability and validity of data collection tools were evaluated and recommended by IT security and network experts. The qualitative and quantitative data was collected by interviewing experts and administering a questionnaire to sampled participants. The developed model was validated both statistically and by experts. The findings revealed that threats and vulnerabilities contributed to 39.9% and 69.2% respectively to the risk of the BYOD environment while Data Encryption (DE) and Software Updates (SU) came out strongly as intervening variables which have a major impact on the relationship between the dependent and independent variables.

A Smart Receptionist Implementing Facial Recognition and Voice InteractionCSCJournals
The purpose of this research is to implement a smart receptionist system with facial recognition and voice interaction using deep learning. The facial recognition component is implemented using real time image processing techniques, and it can be used to learn new faces as well as detect and recognize existing faces. The first time a customer uses this system, it will take the person’s facial data to create a unique user facial model, and this model will be triggered if the person comes the second time. The recognition is done in real time and after which voice interaction will be applied. Voice interaction is used to provide a life-like human communication and improve user experience. Our proposed smart receptionist system could be integrated into the self check-in kiosks deployed in hospitals or smart buildings to streamline the user recognition process and provide customized user interactions. This system could also be used in smart home environment where smart cameras have been deployed and voice assistants are in place.

Botnet-based attack is dangerous and extremely difficult to overcome as all the primary mitigation methods are passive and limited in focus. A combine efforts of internet service providers (ISPs) are better guides since they can monitor the traffic that traverse through their networks. However, ISPs are not legally banded to this role and may not view security as a primary concern. Towards understudying the involvement of ISPs in Botnet mitigation in Nigeria, this study elicited and summarized mitigation measures from scientific literatures to create a reference model which was validated by structured interview. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND INTEGRATION TESTING ASPECTS IN WEB BASED APPLICATIONSIJCSEA Journal
Integration testing is one the important phase in software testing life cycle (STLC). With the fast growth of internet and web services, web-based applications are also growing rapidly and their importance and complexity is also increasing. Heterogeneous and diverse nature of distributed components, applications, along with their multi-platform support and cooperativeness make these applications more complex and swiftly increasing in their size. Quality assurance of these applications is becoming more crucial and important. Testing is one of the key processes to achieve and ensure the quality of these software or Webbased products. There are many testing challenges involved in Web-based applications. But most importantly integration is the most critical testing associated with Web-based applications. There are number of challenging factors involved in integration testing efforts. These factors have almost 70 percent to 80 percent impact on overall quality of Web-based applications. In software industry different kind of testing approaches are used by practitioners to solve the issues associated with integration which are due
to ever increasing complexities of Web-based applications.
Common protocol to support disparate communication types within industrial Et...Maurice Dawson
Owing to the increasing demand for reliable products built globally, and through the evolution of machine design, the need for improved and a common communications protocol in different geographical regions has intensified. In this paper, the goal is to reveal that the current protocols used to support disparate communication types in manufacturing have caused complexity in configurations and an increase in monetary overhead for industrial system designers and the end users. Through the simulation of an industrial network, the packet timing, and packet loss between peer-to-peer systems, similar protocol systems will be compared with two dissimilar protocols systems to establish the thesis. The internal validation research method used in this study will reveal the need for an all-inclusive protocol to eliminate the timing and packet loss issues, the systems’ configuration complexities, and the need to reduce the monetary overhead currently associated with the machine communications.

interconnected items uniquely addressable, via standard communication protocols. Accordingly, preparing us for the
forthcoming invasion of things, a tool called data fusion can be used to manipulate and manage such data in order to improve
progression efficiency and provide advanced intelligence. In this paper, we propose an efficient multidimensional fusion
algorithm for IoT data based on partitioning. Finally, the attribute reduction and rule extraction methods are used to obtain the
synthesis results. By means of proving a few theorems and simulation, the correctness and effectiveness of this algorithm is
illustrated. This paper introduces and investigates large iterative multitier ensemble (LIME) classifiers specifically tailored for
big data. These classifiers are very hefty, but are quite easy to generate and use. They can be so large that it makes sense to use
them only for big data. Our experiments compare LIME classifiers with various vile classifiers and standard ordinary ensemble

Online Social Networks OSNs are providing a diversity of application for human users to network through families, friends and even strangers. One of such application, friend search engine, allows the universal public to inquiry individual client friend lists and has been gaining popularity recently. Proper design, this application may incorrectly disclose client private relationship information. Existing work has a privacy perpetuation clarification that can effectively boost OSNs' sociability while protecting users' friendship privacy against attacks launched by individual malicious requestors. In this project proposed an advanced collusion attack, where a victim user's friendship privacy can be compromise from side to side a series of cautiously designed queries coordinately launched by multiple malicious requestors. The result of the proposed collusion attack is validate through synthetic and real world social network data sets. The project on the advanced collusion attacks will help us design a more vigorous and securer friend search engine on OSNs in the near future. R. Brintha | H. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) systems have the ability to bond with millions of clients in business and knowledge

The number of users on online social networks (OSNs) has grown tremendously over the past few years, with sites like Facebook amassing over a billion users. With the popularity of OSNs, the increase in privacy risk from the large volume of sensitive and private data is inevitable. While there are many features for access control for an individual user, most OSNs still need concrete mechanisms to preserve the privacy of data shared between multiple users. The proposed method uses metrics such as identity leakage (IL) and strength of interaction (SoI) to fine-tune the scenarios that use privacy risk and sharing loss to identify and resolve conflicts. In addition to conflict resolution, bot detection is also done to mitigate collusion attacks. The final decision to share the data item is then ascertained based on whether it passes the threshold condition for the above metrics.
Trust Based Content Distribution for Peer-ToPeer Overlay NetworksIJNSA Journal
In peer-to-peer content distribution the lack of a central authority makes authentication difficult. Without authentication, adversary nodes can spoof identity and falsify messages in the overlay. This enables malicious nodes to launch man-in-the-middle or denial-of-service attacks. In this paper, we present a trust based content distribution for peer-to-peer overlay networks, which is built on the trust management scheme. The main concept is, before sending or accepting the traffic, the trust of the peer must be validated. Based on the success of data delivery and searching time, we calculate the trust index of a node. Then the aggregated trust index of the peers whose value is below the threshold value is considered as distrusted and the corresponding traffic is blocked. By simulation results we show that our proposed scheme achieves increased success ratio with reduced delay and drop.

Then the aggregated trust index of the peers whose value is below the threshold value is considered as distrusted and the corresponding traffic is blocked. By simulation results we show that our proposed scheme achieves increased success ratio with reduced delay and drop.

BROAD UNEXPOSED SKILLS OF TRANSGENDER ENTREPRENEURSIAEME Publication
Since ages gender difference is always a debatable theme whether caused by nature, evolution or environment. The birth of a transgender is dreadful not only for the child but also for their parents. The pain of living in the wrong physique and treated as second class victimized citizen is outrageous and fully harboured with vicious baseless negative scruples. For so long, social exclusion had perpetuated inequality and deprivation experiencing ingrained malign stigma and besieged victims of crime or violence across their life spans. They are pushed into the murky way of life with a source of eternal disgust, bereft sexual potency and perennial fear. Although they are highly visible but very little is known about them. The common public needs to comprehend the ravaged arrogance on these insensitive souls and assist in integrating them into the mainstream by offering equal opportunity, treat with humanity and respect their dignity. Entrepreneurship in the current age is endorsing the gender fairness movement. Unstable careers and economic inadequacy had inclined one of the gender variant people called Transgender to become entrepreneurs. These tiny budding entrepreneurs resulted in economic transition by means of employment, free from the clutches of stereotype jobs, raised standard of living and handful of financial empowerment. Besides all these inhibitions, they were able to witness a platform for skill set development that ignited them to enter into entrepreneurial domain. This paper epitomizes skill sets involved in trans-entrepreneurs of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State and is a groundbreaking determination to sightsee various skills incorporated and the impact on entrepreneurship.

Living in 21st century in itself reminds all of us the necessity of police and its administration. As more and more we are entering into the modern society and culture, the more we require the services of the so called ‘Khaki Worthy’ men i.e., the police personnel. Whether we talk of Indian police or the other nation’s police, they all have the same recognition as they have in India. But as already mentioned, their services and requirements are different after the like 26th November, 2008 incidents, where they without saving their own lives has sacrificed themselves without any hitch and without caring about their respective family members and wards. In other words, they are like our heroes and mentors who can guide us from the darkness of fear, militancy, corruption and other dark sides of life and so on. Now the question arises, if Gandhi would have been alive today, what would have been his reaction/opinion to the police and its functioning? Would he have some thing different in his mind now what he had been in his mind before the partition or would he be going to start some Satyagraha in the form of some improvement in the functioning of the police administration? Really these questions or rather night mares can come to any one’s mind, when there is too much confusion is prevailing in our minds, when there is too much corruption in the society and when the polices working is also in the questioning because of one or the other case throughout the India. It is matter of great concern that we have to thing over our administration and our practical approach because the police personals are also like us, they are part and parcel of our society and among one of us, so why we all are pin pointing towards them.

ATTRITION IN THE IT INDUSTRY DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC: LINKING EMOTIONAL INTE...IAEME Publication
Globally, Millions of dollars were spent by the organizations for employing skilled Information Technology (IT) professionals. It is costly to replace unskilled employees with IT professionals possessing technical skills and competencies that aid in interconnecting the business processes. The organization’s employment tactics were forced to alter by globalization along with technological innovations as they consistently diminish to remain lean, outsource to concentrate on core competencies along with restructuring/reallocate personnel to gather efficiency. As other jobs, organizations or professions have become reasonably more appropriate in a shifting employment landscape, the above alterations trigger both involuntary as well as voluntary turnover. The employee view on jobs is also afflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic along with the employee-driven labour market. So, having effective strategies is necessary to tackle the withdrawal rate of employees. By associating Emotional Intelligence (EI) along with Talent Management (TM) in the IT industry, the rise in attrition rate was analyzed in this study. ROLE OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF INDIA - PROBLEMS AND ...IAEME Publication
The majority of the population in India lives in villages. The village is the back bone of the country. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Developing the rural economy is one of the key indicators towards a country’s success. Whether it be the need to look after the welfare of the farmers or invest in rural infrastructure, Governments have to ensure that rural development isn’t compromised. The economic development of our country largely depends on the progress of rural areas and the standard of living of rural masses. Village or rural industries play an important role in the national economy, particularly in the rural development. Rural entrepreneurship is based on stimulating local entrepreneurial talent and the subsequent growth of indigenous enterprises. It recognizes opportunity in the rural areas and accelerates a unique blend of resources either inside or outside of agriculture. Rural entrepreneurship brings an economic value to the rural sector by creating new methods of production, new markets, new products and generate employment opportunities thereby ensuring continuous rural development. Social Entrepreneurship has the direct and primary objective of serving the society along with the earning profits. So, social entrepreneurship is different from the economic entrepreneurship as its basic objective is not to earn profits but for providing innovative solutions to meet the society needs which are not taken care by majority of the entrepreneurs as they are in the business for profit making as a sole objective. So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. Indian government has made some steps towards development of social enterprises, social entrepreneurship, and social in- novation, but a lot remains to be improved.
OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.

mechanism inclusive of broadcast with constrained range. This broadcast appears to be a few form of
blindness in particular in P2P network. There isn't always any server to control this broadcast
mechanism, so it's far greater difficult to govern broadcasting range. but, in our nearby model,

broadcast is pleasant constrained the various contributors. Broadcasting charge is very small and
comments statistics is dependable. on the same time as node i wants to apprehend consider diploma of
node j , it'll first of all deliver query request for a few node gadgets belonging to their personal
businesses. The nodes obtained request will maintain domestically related historic records and cross
lower back to node i . based on searched records, node i am able to calculate agree with diploma of
node j in this business corporation. Node i'm able to determine the interacted obstacle of node j in
keeping with this consider degree. After node i and node j cease transaction, close by statistics might
be updated consistent with transaction consequences.
2.2. Agree with Expression Internal Corporations
Agree with control set of rules of Peer is best powerful to the buddies of the identical businesses. First,
we introduce a statistics structure: every node preserves and maintains a hard and fast table and the
records inside the table are used to report transacting history. It no longer handiest consists of
dependable node sequence set but it moreover has different nodes file to transact with this node. In this
version, the reliance popular is installation on a fulfilment transacting amount. This is, node
transaction record is taken care of via instances of a achievement transaction in descending order.
Maintained member structure table in node is examined as table 1. The node identity in desk is not
constrained when you don't forget that facts in desk are incredibly simple and information location is
not big. If required, time restriction may be set to modify and acquire transaction facts in member
desk. With the aid of the usage of deleting the past due node document, the kind of node in desk may
be reduced. Within the network at the equal time as one node in company calculates the final agree
with diploma of another node, it wishes to ship query messages of recorded individuals for network
member desk. Then, the calculation may be accomplished through each member’s evaluation.
3. DYNAMIC ACCEPT AS TRUE WITH VERSION
3.1. Trust Degree Computation
The trust diploma computation inside the organization includes initialization, question, reaction and
remaining answer. Within the community of this paper, whilst a node calculates the very last consider
degree of a few exceptional node, it desires to send query messages to a number of contributors
recorded in close by member table. Then it's going to perform complete computation in step with once
more assessment of each member and upload its non-public close by take into account degree with a
sure percent. Considering the truth that there exists dynamicity within the community, we can also
gain exquisite final don't forget diploma due to special nodes or phased of the equal node. With the
increase of transaction of nodes, the extra its behaviours are mentioned through distinctive nodes, the
extra exhaustive its get hold of as genuine with degree is collected with the aid of using community,
which makes the take shipping of as genuine with degree mirror and anticipate the behaviours of node
more appropriately.
3.2. Trust Control a Number of the Businesses
The receive as proper with the diverse corporations takes all the pals composing a fixed as a whole for
manage, as is not similar to the calculation of single Peer inside the company. it's miles a global
believe version in fact. in this version the agree with relation are divided into three layers: the be given
as authentic with relation the various agencies, the take delivery of as true with relation amongst
business enterprise and node and do not forget relation some of the nodes inside the organization. The
fundamental concept is to set up community endure in thoughts relation to different nodes, consistent
with transactions. Then the transacting consequences may be decrease lower back to its group as
comments. The institution establishes corresponding relation of inner nodes and that of different
corporations. When evaluating the accept as true with diploma of various nodes, if there is not any
relative close by statistics, turn to question the group. After receiving the be given as actual with

degree which comes from internal nodes, the enterprise will select whether or now not or no longer it
belongs to its company: if certain then offer the recollect facts
4. CONCLUSION
We endorse a very specific dynamic remember control model primarily based on institution in this
paper. This model makes a speciality of the schooling of believe assessment and divide P2P network
into several overlapped agencies. Inside the organizations, all participants’ reviews are mixed with
evaluators experience to shape inner opinions of member Peer inside the organizations. In the
meantime, in P2P network, a international consider evaluation technique is used to get the whole trust
assessment of P2P network on single grouping. Finally we are able to get the combination of internal
assessment of group people and fundamental evaluation from P2P to institution. So the very last
consider of unmarried Peer can be received. This model assists that users can acquire correlated agree
with degree of transaction item through restrained liberating query information. it is beneficial to
decorate the success charge in transaction.
