BradyIG3 TASK 2
 To start off I found the file known
as “Sounds” and right clicked the
older where a menu pops up this is
where I looked for the “create
sound” option which will allow me
to create a document where I will
upload the sounds into, then game
maker will recognise these files
and will allow them to be played
later on when I attach them onto a
object. There must be attached to
a certain object for them to be
played.
STEP 1
 I have created a folder and
now I must browse for the
sounds location, I done this
by clicking the folder icon
this then opens up a folder
browser where I look for the
sounds, but I must also
remember that these sounds
will not be able to play unless
they are converted into “wave
files” and as I have done that
already then my selected
sound should work perfectly
when adding it to an object.
STEP 2
Thirdly I want the to link one of my
sounds to a object so I done this by
double left clicking on a certain I
want link it to in this case it is the
“obj_Enemy_Bulet1” this also
brings up a menu where I clicked
the side menu named “main1” this
allowed me to find the speaker icon
where I dragged it into the “Actions
grid” this tells the object that when
the plane explodes the object will
emit my selected sound, to find the
certain I want it to play I have to
double click the speaker icon and
browse for it through the blue
square icon, this brings up all the
sounds I have created on game
maker and brings them up in a
small menu.
STEP 3
 And finally after I have
repeated the process for each
selected sound and object and
i make sure that the sounds
play when I use them in the
demo.
But I must also point out that
my sounds do not quite match
the type of genre I have used
but I am just showing that I am
able to upload sounds into a
game and then played. If I were
to do it again I would make my
own game so the sounds would
perfectly match the genre and
the mechanics of my game.
