Md. Rabiul Alam | Assignment: i) Empathize and Define & ii) Ideate
 Sumaiya graduated in Business Administration from University of Dhaka
and joined in a private university in the public relation and media
communication department.
 She is neither doing fine in the job nor liking the job now.
 She gets frustrated and plans to quit the job.
 She wishes if she could get a job in banking.
Think
• The university is not organized and has no system
within the department.
• The department should have a person for typing
and preparing presentations and analysis.
• Management should provide SOP for all the jobs.
We can comply them all.
• Media communication can also be outsourced and
we can find some agencies for that.
• There is too much pressures in the job.
Feel
• If I knew the job before I would not join here.
• Banking job is good for me – doing the same job
everyday.
• If I could have a call from a recruiter for my applied
job.
• Some people are doing good in freelancing but I’m
not that good in English.
• Presentation and creative writing is really tough job
to make.

• Tries to be in time while entering into the
department.
• Struggles to meet deadline of assignments.
• On facebook and bdjobs.com when finds time.
• Follows up regular works and mails from the
university.

there, that would be good for me.”

worked in groups while doing class assignments.”

  • 2.  Sumaiya graduated in Business Administration from University of Dhaka and joined in a private university in the public relation and media communication department.  She is neither doing fine in the job nor liking the job now.  She gets frustrated and plans to quit the job.  She wishes if she could get a job in banking.

Think • The university is not organized and has no system within the department. • The department should have a person for typing and preparing presentations and analysis. • Management should provide SOP for all the jobs. We can comply them all. • Media communication can also be outsourced and we can find some agencies for that. • There is too much pressures in the job. Feel • If I knew the job before I would not join here. • Banking job is good for me – doing the same job everyday. • If I could have a call from a recruiter for my applied job. • Some people are doing good in freelancing but I’m not that good in English. • Presentation and creative writing is really tough job to make. If it were there, that would be good for me.” • “I work in the media communication department. Why should I be expert in .xls?” • “My computer knowledge in not good. Actually we worked in groups while doing class assignments.”
