Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.
Let's dive deeper into the world of ODC! Ricardo Alves (OutSystems) will join us to tell all about the new Data Fabric. After that, Sezen de Bruijn (OutSystems) will get into the details on how to best design a sturdy architecture within ODC.
2. Introduction
Most of the time we think it is never fair. We always
assume that we deserve more than the one who got
selected. If you rellay feel like that, then why is it that we
always fail. It’s time to look back & reflect. May be there is
something what others knows that we don’t know.
3. Skills that will be needed
• Always do your homework.
Check out the Details of the company.
Ideas about skills which the company needs.
Check your experience whether you qualify
for the job You are Applying for.
NoteReading best interview tips and developing
Interview skills is most important for every
individual.
4. Resume Ideas
NP- Always Have a resume ready with you to
Refer yourself thoroughly
1. Relating hobby with work can be a good idea
2. Ensure that your resume and everything is accurate
and up to date.
3. Make sure you know what you are talking about with your
interviewer as in resume. (Search Engine & Experience).
4. Your resume defines your personality.
Be careful of what you are including in it.
Keep in mind that a prospective employer, who must
review 200 to 400 resumes is an headache. (Careful while
you are updating your jobsites)
5. Lets Exercise
• Handling the hot seat can be one of the most
nerve-wracking aspects of the job hunting
process. Just asked you the first question makes
us goes blank and you don’t know what to say or
where to even begin. What do you do?
6. Lets give it a try now
(Can Be Referred as Brain Storming)
• Think of your brain as a computer. What comes to
your mind next.
• Office. It reminds me of work. Work friends.
Friends Outing. Outing Touring. Touring Visiting
Places. Places Nature. Nature Beauty. Beauty
virtue…
• A computer is a device that is used in the office
For work. I have Many friends in office. We often
go out for outing visiting places every
weekends….
Good way for beginners for preparation
8. Dressing Code
!Most important Point to be noted!
What should I wear?
• Generally, it's a good idea to wear a suit for a job
interview. Go with something simple, in a neutral tone.
The more conservative your field is, the more
conservative your suit should be. For example, if you're
applying for a job in an investment firm, go with a navy
blue or dark gray suit.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Np- We start the day with the mirror.
Concept is what you feel about yourself
• What is your first thought when you walk out the door.
(The Positive term “do what makes you happy”)
9. • What is Confidence?
Feeling Good ourselves and being prepared
------------------------------------------------------------------Be confident in your manner of walking and
speaking. It is very important for one to be
confident about himself and his personality.
Remember making the first move
Remember having a good social circle is very
important. You can make good friends only if you
introduce yourself to them well. Making the first
Impression.
10. What to do with your Hands
Folding your arms across your
chest suggests a closed and
defensive attitude. Avoid as
much as possible.
Having your hands above the neck, fiddling with
your face or your hair, is unprofessional and
conveys nervousness and anxiety. Keep your
hands away from your face. Interview body
language experts will tell you that touching the
nose or lips can indicate that the candidate is
lying or uncertain.
If you are unsure of what to do
with your hands, rest
them, loosely clasped in your lap
or on the table in front of you.
If the interviewer is talking and you want
to show that you are actively
listening, you need to instigate direct eye
contact and maintain it. Avoid appearing
as if you are staring aggressively by
blinking at regular intervals and moving
your head every now and then, such as
giving a small nod.
12. The mouth guard is one of the few adult gestures that is as obvious as a child's. The hand
covers the mouth and the thumb is pressed against the cheek as the brain sub-consciously
instructs it to try and suppress the deceitful words that are being said. Sometimes this
gesture may only be several fingers over the mouth or even a closed fist, but its meaning
remains the same.
Many people try to disguise the mouth guard gesture by giving a fake cough. If the person
who is speaking uses this gesture, it indicates that he is telling a lie. If, however, he covers
his mouth while you are speaking, it indicates that he feels you are lying!
13. • Be confident
• Review your
resume
• Dressing Code
• The right thinking
• Socialize
• The Right Posture
Every Thing is set Now- Hot seat……
14. Interview
“So tell me about yourself…”
• Storm The Brain Now.
– The first step. If you do good you will be in ease
• Company History
Did You do Your Homework
• ResumeIts Your resume. Come on Its my Resume.
NP- Should not forget all the postures.
15. Tips- How to answer Tricky Questions
• I am wondering why you need a job Change.
I always wanted to be a part of this
Organization so I want to utilize the
Experience that I have gathered to Groom the
company.
• I am wondering why you need a job Change.

experience just to be a part of this
