2. Why ICAR-PG Exam ?

procurement of essential chemicals, equipments,
books and travel etc.

5. General Scheme of Examination
• 150 multiple choice, objective type questions would be
serially numbered from 1-150
• 10 cross-matching type questions would be serially
numbered from 151-160
• Each correctly answered multiple-choice objective type
question will earn four marks
• In matching type, 1 mark for each correct pairing
• Negative Marking: 1 mark deduction for multiple choice
and 0.2 deduction for each matching type wrong answer

6. Evaluation & Declaration of Result
• Overall merit-rank list shall be prepared
separately for every major subject-group
• Category-wise final merit list for counseling shall
be prepared
• No Re-Checking/ Re-Evaluation of OMR Answer

professionals have excelled in other fields also)
