One of the reasons that intruders can be successful is that most of the information they acquire from a system is in a form that they can read and comprehend. Intruders may reveal the information to others, modify it to misrepresent an individual or organization, or use it to launch an attack. One solution to this problem is, through the use of Steganography. Steganography is a technique of hiding information in digital media. In contrast to cryptography, it is not to keep others from knowing the hidden information but it is to keep others from thinking that the information even exists. In this review paper we will understand what Steganography, Cryptography is and what are the advantages of using them? A Self –Destructing Secure Messaging System Using Multi Key Management Schemeijiert bestjournal
We propose the Pandora Messaging, an enhanced secure instant messaging architecture which is
equipped with a self-message-destructing feature for sensitive personal information applications
in a mobile environment along with Multi Key Security Management using Shamirs algorithm.
The proposed system will be beneficial for Government officers for communicating very
sensitive and confidential messages. We design the Pandora Message Encryption and Exchange
Scheme and the format of a self-destructible message to show how to exchange these messages
atop the existing instant messaging service architecture. The Pandora Messaging-based system
enables senders to set time, frequency, and location constraints. These conditions determine
when the transmitted messages should be destructed and thus become unreadable for receivers.
The Pandora Messaging-based system securely sends self destructible messages to receivers in a
way that it uses ephemeral keys to encrypt the messages and transmits the encrypted messages to
the designated receiver‟s instant messaging service in real time. When the transmitted messages‟
constraints are satisfied, the ephemeral key used for encryption will be deleted .Thus, the
encrypted messages become unrecoverable. The most important part is that the Key are managed

Video Steganography using Discrete Wavelet Transform and Artificial Intelligenceijtsrd
Several developments in the transfer of data through the internet make it easier to transfer the data faster and accurately to the destination. But in this, anyone can misuse and modify the critical information through hacking. Video steganography is a technique which is used to hide the message and to transfer the message inside a video. Video is an application of many frames of audio, text, and images. The segmentation is known as the advanced technology that provides rich information of an image. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new technique to hide the data using video steganography with the help of artificial intelligence and DWT. This paper focuses on analyzing the various video steganography techniques which were proposed for securing the data transmission. In this paper, artificial intelligence is applied in order to improve the integrity and security of data transfer. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated on the basis of Bit error, mean square error, and PSNR metrics. communication through video file using adaptive data hiding with cryptographic
technique. A given input video file is converted into frame sequences and then
Encrypted the video using Chaos Encryption algorithm. And one of frame will be
selected to conceal the secret data for secured data communication. The proposed
technique also uses RC7 Encryption for encrypting a secret text data into cipher text
to avoid data hacking issues. After data encryption, the data hider will conceal the
secret encrypted data into the selected frame using adaptive LSB embedding
algorithm. Although encryption achieves certain security effects, they make the secret
messages unreadable and unnatural or meaningless. These unnatural messages
usually attract some unintended observers’ attention. The data hiding technique uses
the adaptive LSB replacement algorithm for concealing the secret message bits into
the image. In the data extraction module, the secret data will be extracted by using
relevant key for choosing the pixel coefficients and it will be decrypted to get original
data using encryption key. Finally the performance of this proposal in data encryption

Today piracy is one of the most important issues that the owners of multimedia contents are facing now. So
it becomes necessary to protect the copyright of digital media. The new technology proposed to solve the “problem”
of enforcing the copyright of content transmitted across shared networks is Invisible Digital Watermark. It is a
technique of steganography that allow a copyright holder to insert a hidden message (invisible watermark) within
images, sound files, moving pictures and even raw text. To watermark a video it is divided into frames then extract
each bit of a frame and modify it with reference to original RGB value to embed a watermark in it. The location of
the embedded text is maintained as a key file and the frames are integrated as a video again. The slight changes in
RGB value scattered across the frame makes it impossible to visibly detect the difference when compared to original
video. To detect the piracy of video using the key file the copyright information is extracted from the watermarked
data. From the copyright information it is possible to find the source of piracy and thus necessary action can be
taken.

Enhancing Security of Multimodal Biometric Authentication System by Implement...IOSR Journals
Abstract : Conventional personal identification techniques for instance passwords, tokens, ID card and PIN
codes are prone to theft or forgery and thus biometrics isa solution thereto. Biometrics is the way of recognizing
and scrutinizing the physical traits of a person. Automated biometrics verification caters as a conducive and
legitimate method, but there must be an assurance to its cogency. Furthermore, in most of the cases unimodal
biometric recognition is not able to meet the performance requirements of the applications. According to recent
trends, recognition based on multimodal biometrics is emerging at a greater pace. Multimodal biometrics
unifies two or more biometric traits and thus the issues that emerge in unimodal recognition can be mitigated in
multimodal biometric systems. But with the rapid ontogenesis of information technology, even the biometric
data is not secure. Digital watermarking is one such technique that is implemented to secure the biometric data
from inadvertent or premeditated attacks. This paper propounds an approach that is projected in both the
directions of improving the performance of biometric identification system by going multimodal and, increasing
the security through watermarking. The biometric traits are initially transformed using Discrete Wavelet and
Discrete Cosine Transformation and then watermarked using Singular Value Decomposition. Scheme depiction
and presented outcomes justifies the effectiveness of the scheme.

An image contains a large information and existing base character such us American Standard Code for Information Interchange ASCII are not enough for encoding, then we are obliged to create a new base. The only condition required is that each user person or application knows the method of encoding and decoding. A Havoc Proof for Secure and Robust Audio WatermarkingCSCJournals
The audio watermarking involves the concealment of data within a discrete audio file. Audio watermarking technology affords an opportunity to generate copies of a recording which are perceived by listeners as identical to the original but which may differ from one another on the basis of the embedded information. A highly confidential audio watermarking scheme using multiple scrambling is presented Superior to other audio watermarking techniques, the proposed scheme is self-secured by integrating multiple scrambling operations into the embedding stage. To ensure that unauthorized detection without correct secret keys is nearly impossible, the watermark is encrypted by a coded-image; certain frames are randomly selected from the total frames of the audio signal for embedding and their order of coding is further randomized. Adaptive synchronization is improves the robustness against hazardous synchronization attacks, such as random samples cropping/inserting and pitch-invariant time stretching. The efficient watermarking schemes make it impossible to be detected and robust even though the watermarking algorithm is open to the public.

Over the past decades, research in security has concentrated on the development of algorithms and protocols for authentication, encryption and integrity of data. Despite tremendous advances, several security problems still afflict system’s. In this android app watermarking and encryption is being applied on images and data. Because of the human visual system’s low sensitivity to small changes and the high flexibility of digital media, anyone can easily make small changes in digital data with low perceptibility. Here watermarking and encryption are being performed in wavelet domain. Here in watermarking, the coefficients of watermarks are being embedded with the coefficients of the original image. Encryption is being done in wavelet domain so that the probability of an intruder trying to access the contents is very much minimized. Thus, this model provides a high level of security.

Digital watermarking provides authentication, validation and copyright protection for multimedia contents over the internet. Text is the most widely used means of communication in addition to image, audio and video. So it needs to be protected. Text watermarking techniques that have been developed in past protects the text from illegal copying, imitation, and prevents copyright violations. In this paper, we have proposed an algorithm that ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the document. In this technique watermark is created based on the contents of the document and embeds it without changing the contents of the document and also encrypts the text to provide confidentiality. To authenticate and prove the integrity of the document the watermark can be easily extracted and verified for tampering.

A new algorithm suggested for audio file encryption and decryption utilizing integer wavelet transform to take advantage of the property for adaptive context-based lossless audio coding. In addition, biometrics are used to give a significant level of classification and unwavering quality because the procedure has numerous qualities and points of interest. The offered algorithm utilized many properties of hand geometry estimations as keys to encode and decode the audio file. Many tests were carried out on a set of audio files and quality metrics such as mean square error and correlations were calculated which in turn confirmed the efficiency and quality of the work.

CE Cybersecurity Trends and Strategies for Hosting in the CloudCase IQ
Why does security feel like the most frustrating challenge in government IT? In part, because security in a cloud-first, mobile-first world calls for new approaches. Data is accessed, used and shared on-premises and in the cloud–erasing traditional security boundaries.
In this webinar, we’ll examine current trends in cybersecurity and some resulting strategy shifts that have the potential to greatly enhance public sector organizations’ ability to balance risk and access, better detect and respond to attacks and just make faster and more coordinated cybersecurity decisions overall. Finally, we’ll look at a common set of attacks occurring specifically in state and local government and steps you can take right now to help mitigate these.
Join Dean Iacovelli, Director for Secure Enterprise at Microsoft, as he discusses current trends and strategies to mitigate your cybersecurity risk.
Title: What I Learned at Gartner Summit 2019
Abstract:
The Gartner Summit 2019 agenda featured five comprehensive programs to cover your security and risk management key priorities and challenges. Digital transformation continues to challenge the conventions of information risk and security management. It requires a coherent digital security program based on a clear vision and strategy. Businesses have been inundated with information on what recent privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA require, but many are still trying to figure out how to comply with them on a practical level.
The new Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) provides perspectives on how Criminals simply shift their focus and adapt their tactics to locate and steal the data they find to be of most value.
Gartner includes data ethics and privacy on their list of the top 10 strategic technology trends of 2019, placing it on the same level as AI-driven development, blockchain, and edge computing. Many companies are focusing on data privacy from the legal and security side, which are foundational, but are missing the focus on data.
The cloud, SaaS applications, and user mobility are powerful enablers of digital transformation, but many IT organizations are grappling with legacy network and security architectures that haven't evolved in decades. In the era of Cloud 3.0, companies are re-imagining business processes from and for the cloud. With these new opportunities comes a new cybersecurity reality for IT leaders in a hybrid, multicloud world. At a minimum, cloud computing breaks into 3 primary layers: SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
This presentation will explain primary security controls. You’ll learn how to take a strategic approach to risk, improve business and data resilience, build digital trust and implement a new generation of continuously adaptive security strategies. Cloud security remains a top priority. This presentation summarizes the problems, recommended processes, and new product types to address key issues.
