asserting that this system may provide the neural scaffold for empathy and, as a result, may have
served as a biological substrate for the evolution of our sophisticated sociality and the morality that

Throughout the years, there has been an abundance of movies depicting the wild west during the
nineteenth century. One of these films includes Tombstone which was released in the year 1993.
Based on real events, this movie is about a man named Wyatt Earp, played by Kurt Russel, who is
a retired officer that settles in a town called Tombstonewith his two brothers. Later, they encounter
a group of outlaws called the Cowboys which was led by Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo. Due to
some conflict between the opposing sides, it causes a massive gunfight called the O.K. Corral in
which the Earp brothers and long time friend Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer, ultimately win
the battle. As a result of the fight not ending in the Cowboys favor, they ambush the town in

place during my Kindergarten class usually scheduled science lesson. This week my class was
going over the 5 senses, so my lesson fit perfectly into their curriculum. My lesson was about
using the 5 senses to predict what an unknown object was in a closed bag. I chose to do this lesson
because my students were learninghow to use senses as a tool of observation to identify properties
and patterns of organisms, objects, and events in environment (TEK K.4B). My objective was for
the students to use their senses to identify an object and describe the different properties of objects

Changes I Would Make
If I could make changes to my lesson to make it more effective, I would probably have the
students switch the bags at the tables. For this lesson, I only gave each table one bag. I feel like
the lesson would have been more fun and exciting, if I let the students guess what the unknown
objects were in each of the table s bags. However, I only gave each table one bag for time s sake.
Also, if I could make an additional change to the lesson, I would probably make it harder to open
the brown paper bags. Even though I stabled the paper bags shut and told everyone not to open
their bags until I gave the word, two out of the five tables opened their paper bag. I believe this
lesson would have been more effective, if there was some way to make it harder to open the paper
