2. Hyperthermia
Hyperthermia means having the
body temperature above the
normal level.
The symptoms for hyperthermia are:
Shivering, although as hypothermia
worsens, shivering stops.
Clumsiness or lack of coordination.
Slurred speech or mumbling.
Confusion and poor decision-making, such
as trying to remove warm clothes.
Very low energy.
Body cells start to die.
Then you meet death
How does the body cope with this?
● Drink loads of water.
● Cool down the internal organs
such heart, liver and Brain.
3. Hypothermia
When body temperature is
below average is Hypothermia
Symptoms for Hypothermia
Shivering
Dizziness
Hunger
Faster breathing
Trouble speaking
Slight confusion
Increased heart
How does the body cope with this?
Move the person indoors or somewhere
warm as soon as possible. Once the
person is in a warm environment, carefully
remove any wet clothing and dry them.
Wrap them in warm blankets, towels, or
coats , protecting their head and torso first.
