 It is the fifth mode of transportation which is very faster than
air transportation.
 Among the other modes of transportation, hyperloop has less
environment impact.
 Other modes of transportation is slow and costly.
 It is fully run by green energy resources.
 It is highly safest mode to travel long distances.
 In olden days items are sending from one building to another
building sending through tubes by blowing air.
 In 21st century ElonMusk who is a founder and CEO of SpaceX and
Tesla bring up the idea of hyperloop technology in 2012.
 In 2013 give a complete details of hyperloop concept.
 It contains long cylinder and pods(capsules) are moving with a
speed of 1200 km/hr.
It consists of mainly tube, capsule and propulsion system.
Capsule:
Sealed capsules carrying 28 passengers each that travel along
the interior of the tube. The capsules are supported via air
bearings that operate using a compressed air reservoir and
aerodynamic lift.
Tube
The tube is made of steel
and two tubes will be welded
together. Solar arrays cover top
of the tubes to provide power to the system.
Propulsion
Linear accelerators are constructed along the length of the
tube at various locations to accelerate the capsules.
Stators are located on the tubes to transfer momentum to the
capsules via the linear accelerators.
 Any vehicle speed can be reduced by air resistance and
gravity.
 In this technology a low pressure is created along the tube
which is 1000 times less than atmospheric pressure at sea
level.
 These are mounted on elevated
pillars and placing solar panels
for self generating power.
 This low pressure minimizes the drag force on the capsule
through pumping out the air from the tube.
 Stator is mounted on the tube and it is accelerate or
decelerate the capsule.
 It contains compressor,
battery, air bearings
and rotor.
 The aerodynamic method of generating pressure under the
air bearings becomes appreciable at moderate to high
capsule speeds.
 The batteries provide power to run the compressor.
 For propulsion motor efficiency, aerodynamic drag, charging
the batteries to power on board compressors, and vacuum
pumps to keep the tube evacuated getting from solar energy
on the top of the tube.
 Hyperloop uses a linear induction motor to accelerate and
decelerate the capsule.
 Safer and less space is required.
 Less sound pollution than aeroplanes.
 Lower cost.
 More convenient to construct top and under the ground.
 It is flexible to contraction and expansion.
 Sustainably self-powering.
 Resistant to Earthquakes.
 Reduce traffic.
