This document appears to be the introduction to a volume containing the Coptic version of the Catholic Epistles and the Apocalypse from the New Testament. It includes a title page indicating it was published in 1924 at the Clarendon Press in Oxford by the Oxford University Press. The text then begins with a Coptic translation of 1 Peter 1:1-7, providing the greeting, introduction and first few verses of that epistle in Coptic with parallel translations in other languages and notes on textual variants.
