 Will simply do what’s required without any effort to build
the team beyond the work.
 Too much competition within a team will destroy the
ability to work as a unit.
 Will spread distrust, and not be able to accomplish
trusting environment.
 Less likely to share resources or ideas with other groups
or welcome suggestions as to how they might improve.
 Collaboration in a business culture with silos among
teams will be limited the success.
 Involve team member in goal setting, since they
likely feel more engaged with goals they help
created.
 Establish effective metrics and reporting from team
leaders.

 Variable pay and rewards linked to team objectives can
help galvanise teams and motivate them to achieve team
goals.
 Effective way to improve interpersonal relations, define
team roles and encourage collaboration and cooperation
among your employees.
 Show genuine commitment.
 Be reliable and responsible.
 Actively listen.
 Always be ready to help.
 Support and respect others.
 Be a problem-solver.
 Teamwork is difficult.
 As work become more complex, so too will
teamwork.
