Great Canyon
It is one of the deepest canyons in the world. It is located on the Colorado Plateau,
Arizona , USA. This place is considered to be the National Park and Navajo
Havasupai and Hualapai Indian tribes Reservation. The Canyon is cut by the
Colorado River in the thickness of limestone, shale and sandstone. The length of the
canyon is- 446 km. The width (at the plateau) is between 6 and 29 km, at the bottom
level it is less than one kilometer.
 Each year, the Grand Canyon is visited by more than 4 million people
(4,425,314 people visited the canyon in 2008).
 The most popular tourist entertainment here is rafting on the Colorado on
inflatable rafts and the descent into the canyon by mule.
