Teleworking and flex-office: moving towards mobile employees?Fabernovel
In the digital age, companies have access to tools which allow them to pursue having mobile workers both in and outside of the company. They are referred to as teleworking and flex office.
In 2019, it is no longer a question of whether or not to allow flex office and teleworking, but of how to manage the transition in a way that protects employees and does not interfere with the organization’s performance.“
Delivered in partnership with Survation, the seventh edition of ‘State of the Profession’ gives evidence to burgeoning cross-industry convergence between PR and marketing; the increasing demand for practitioners to be content creators and curators; and, unprecedented detail on industry issues, including an extensive breakdown of gender pay, found to be the most unequal at the most senior levels.
#StateOfPR 2016 reflects the views of more than 1500 practitioners who shared their thoughts on every aspect of public relations, delivering the most compelling snapshot of PR practice to date.
"The fall of digital" as presented at Webuquerque, November 2010.
"For the past 15 years, the business, marketing and technology communities have been turned upside down with the mass adoption of the internet. Millions have been made and lost. Companies founded and companies gone broke. Business as usual has been changed forever, but the change isn't over yet.
As the realities of the new connected world take hold, the architects of that world (the web developers and digital agencies) may be the ones who pay. How are the trends of today going to affect the professionals that set the ball in motion? That's what we will talk about in The Fall of Digital."
From Diversity to Inclusion is a qualitative exploration of attitudes and experiences towards diversity issues impacting public relations.
Conducted by the CIPR's Diversity Working Group, the report delves deep into views of over 30 PR professionals who shared their views in an innovative digital research project and took part in roundtable discussions held in London and Leeds.
The findings point towards the need for Public Relations to adopt a mature approach to diversity and inclusion. The report reveals that PR must take ownership of the diversity agenda by delivering inclusive leadership and ensuring inclusive communications are factored into campaign planning.

Digital Transformation in Procurement 2018 Jon Hansen
This discussion paper examines the cultural effect or influence on the development, introduction, and successful implementation of a digital strategy from four key areas; home culture, generational culture, gender culture, and senior management culture.
Through the examination of these four areas, the reader will be able to determine the alignment of their current cultural environments, and use said understanding as a predictive tool for determining their organization's digital readiness and as a result the likelihood of initiative success.
Businesses CAN’T afford to have disengaged employees! According to Gallup, a disengaged employee costs a company 34% of their total annual salary. On aggregate 17.2% of a workforce is disengaged.
Since the Dotcom boom of the 90’s, companies have been trying to obtain high standards of employee satisfaction through: company perks, wellness incentives and even subsidized food plans to satisfy the foodies.
Has any of these strategies really helped with employee engagement? How do organizations get their employees engaged and find their swagger?
Employee engagement is very tied to the MAGIC of the company. To capture the magic, employees must have five key elements to help them become successful.
In the MAGIC of Employee Engagement white paper, it'll will break down each element and map out the benefits of each one.
Hiring and Retaining Young Talents- Millennial & Gen Z BlueprintNicole Yean
Millennials and their Gen Z counterparts are increasingly getting the spotlight in today’s workforce and redefining the idea of work.
Despite the challenge of attracting and retaining them, these young talents are important assets to organisations.

The Culture Cure for Digital: How to Fix What’s Ailing BusinessCognizant
Work cultures that have developed over time can be too slow-moving and complacent for the digital age. Business leaders need to intentionally reshape the organizational culture to energize people for the work of the future.
To understand how technology is changing companies – and how the role of the Chief Information Officer is evolving as a consequence – comes down to one thing: figuring out how to change the way you do business to reflect how customers are using technology. This was the conclusion which underlined the discussion at the latest in our series of FT events held in partnership with HP, on the convergence of digital and the customer experience.
The panel was comprised of a mix of CIOs, marketing, brand and sales professionals from some of France’s leading companies. They worked in a range of sectors and industries and yet the challenges – and opportunities – identified by each boiled down the same fundamental questions.
Digital has changed everything about how we do business. Initially, dealing with this was about trying to find a way of putting all transactions online. But now, in the words of one panellist, we are at “the second stage of the digital revolution”. This is all about “the customer journey”, that is building a system that will engage consumers in a way that reflects how individuals want to be approached rather than how companies think they want to be engaged.
Five key challenges for internal communicatorsPachi Lanzas
Here, we gather our findings after a series of interviews and daily collaboration with Internal Communicators from both large and small companies, as well as experts from Business Schools and Universities. Our goal is mapping the key focuses of our activity, our challenges, our opportunities.
It used to be the case that staff worked the way they were told to by their employers. It was therefore the objectives of the organisation – efficiency, in most cases – that defined the working style of the majority.
Now, though, the way we work is subject to all manner of influences. Organisations that wish to design engaging and productive working environments for their employees must understand those forces, and react accordingly.
Translating the HR Digital Revolution to Everyday Work Bhupesh Chaurasia
HR digital transformation is continuing to impact business processes and technology. Learn how you can ride the wave of HR digitization as it rises higher and spreads innovation into the future.
I presented this on a panel discussion at the LMA Conference in SF on September 17, 2009. The panel's topic was: Social Media in the Legal Frontier and Beyond.

Company culture is all the buzz in the business world today. Some
companies provide free lunches, and onsite amenities like dog sitters

morale means more that free beer on Fridays. Changing company culture
for the new way to work is a requirement for the modern business but
creating a great one is not easy. Physical environment, technology,
transparency, leadership and many other factors all have a role to play
in creating an environment where employees are engaged, happy, and

Leading and Engaging the Millennial Workforce
Leading and Engaging the Millennial Workforce
Today's employers and managers have to think differently to fully
engage the millennial generation. Millennials craft their "career
path" more like a passport of life experiences and they pick up skills
like we would stamps on our passport. They are not climbing a "ladder".
They are motivated by purpose and curiosity. They are the first
digitally native generation - the rest of us adapted/faked it. They are
also the most socially engaged community, leveraging their network to
live their lives. So how does today's manager hire and fully engage
that type of talent? How long will they stay in any one position or
company? How does the new employer / employee compact work with this

mean for your business? Rich Pearson will answer this question and
