The Holy Ghost Is The Second Part Of The Godhead Trinity
The Holy Ghost
Who is the Holy Ghost? He is the third part of the Godhead trinity. He is known as a teacher,
comforter, advocate, helper, power and so much more. The Holy Ghost should never be referred to as
an it . He is a person that we should all come know.
What is his purpose? He came to teach us about God and Jesus, he knows them best. He comforts,
helps, guide, empowers, advocates, fills us, and so much more. In essence He equips us for the
journey ahead. He will be the one that will help us possess the Promised Land in our lives.
In the Old Testament, the Spirit of God could not dwell in a person because of sin. They were in need
of a Savior to pay that debt so that there would be no more sacrificing of animals. The Spirit of God ...

However His presence even when silently moving around us cannot be denied. It is a love and power
that will surely bring you to repentance and rejoicing.
We are the temple that house the trinity of heaven in the form of Holy Ghost. This gives us power to
be effective witnesses to all the world. We now have the ability to keep going and not faint because
that power will always strengthen us. We are enabled to walk by the Spirit, which means we can
recognize and understand what God is saying and doing in different seasons of our life. Holy Spirit is
like a light that is always showing us the way. Guiding us in and out of life s challenges with ease.
He prays through us and for us to know the perfect will of God. So in the days to come be certain that
your victory lies in unwrapping the total package. When you receive Christ into your heart do not
reject the power that will equip you for your journey, Holy Ghost! The Importance of Walking In the
Spirit
In order for us to possess our land we have to do it by the Spirit of God. We talked previously about
things being discerned or perceived. The Spirit of God brings heaven on earth for us by making the
word come alive. God is Spirit and those that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.
Everything about God is spirit, we have to utilize him in our natural world just at Jesus did. Jesus not
only told us but showed us the way to do it.
Walking in the Spirit is not a mental know how, we cannot rationalize this

The Machine Stops, By Em Forster
In this essay I will discuss EM Forster s short story The Machine Stops, which is a cautionary tale
about technological progress and its impact on various aspects of human behavior, including isolation
and solitude, risk avoidance and contact avoidance, communication and social connections, and the
nature of the residents of the Machine s relationship with knowledge. I will specifically touch on all of
these ideas and how they connect with one another in that they are all products of our desire for
comfort, but inevitably lead to disconnection and the end of humanity. Additionally, I will discuss the
prescience of the short story in relation to the present day, where technological advancement and
dependence have come a long ways since the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Vashti and Kuno are talking to each other through the machine, Vashti is unable to tell the
subtleties of Kuno s expressions. The Machine did not transmit nuances of expression. It only gave a
general idea of people an idea that was good enough for all practical purposes (3). Later, Forster
writes, Something good enough had long since been accepted by our race (3). Forster is making a
statement that although, in the world of the Machine, there is great technological advancement, the use
of technology to communicate will never match the nuance of face to face communication. Further,
they have accepted that the communication through technology is good enough, which leads one to
conclude that the lack of nuance in this type of communication is met with compliance. It is important
to note that Kuno is notably not content with communication through the Machine. He says, I want to
speak to you not through the wearisome Machine and I hear something like you through this
telephone, but I do not hear you...pay me a visit, so that we can meet face to face (2). The Kuno
character is Forster s means of discussing the value of face to face communication. Communication
with something Kuno hears or something Kuno sees through the machine isn t the same as
communication with his mother in

Anarchism In Emma Goldman s What I Believe
I enjoyed Emma Goldman s What I Believe it was a breath of fresh air in contrast to last weeks
excruciating reading of Henry David Thoreau s Where I Lived, and What I Lived For which seemed
like a glorified account of a basement nerd turned naturalist hippy for the sake of eking out an original
existence from the society that rejected him for his homely looks and unfortunate events that followed
him. Nevertheless his literary contributions helped the collective intellect of the literary world. In
regards to Goldman s views on government designed to maintain the status quo of only a few
benefiting from the backs of the many is true. Goldman s call for Anarchism is foolish because it

The human body craves homeostasis and will do anything in this power to achieve it and most humans
like homeostatic environments for the purpose to achieve a likely outcome of reaching reproductive
age and living as long as possible. Goldman does do a good job of humanizing her cause by
mentioning a serviceman being severely punished by being jailed and stripped of his military benefits
because he simply went to one of her rally s in her piece on militarism. Her points on militarism are
valid and the fact that America has one of the largest incarcerated populations and biggest military
budgets are a symptom of a capitalist system that lack reforms but, I feel that these points are more
about a call for transparency and reform rather than the dismantling of the government. Goldman s
views on marriage do hold some water to a certain degree but are not as prevalent because of the rise
of social media and dwindling job prospects for my generation that has had a hand in the lack of

It was then that Colin offered her something she had not expected.
Though you may not have any obvious health problems, there are still many ways that people,
especially ladies, can be afflicted. Tiredness can be an affliction, one that needs to be loosened like a
knot blocking the proper flow of energy. Or frustration, manifested in a multitude of ways emotional,
physical, sensual, and others. The condition of female hysteria can also rear its ugly head in ways that
are subtle, long before they manifest in more disturbing ways. All of these can be treated with
mesmerism in some form or another, and as a doctor...your doctor, you have my word than anything

Caffeine Discussion
Caffeine Discussion Based on my data, I think my isolation was somewhat of a success and in some
ways not. I was able to obtain a pure recovery from the crude caffeine of 21.46%. It is not significant
amount, but it seemed to be enough. A reason for some loss in my data was that some of the crystals
were lost in the process of removing the inner tube. In addition, although I was unable to perform the
NMR, I perform the IR, but my spectra resemble more like a blank. I obtain 0.05 grams of pure crystal
caffeine but it could be that during my removable of the inner tube that when both of the tube
accidently bumped that I lost some of the crystals, which resulted in not enough caffeine for me to get

It occurs when a chemical does from something really hot to really cold quickly, at a low pressure. If
the pressure were to increase then the solid would become a liquid and then a gas. When it actually
came to the sublimation part, the crude substance of caffeine, was put over a heat source at high
degree of heat, around 200 degrees Celsius. The vacuum pipe was attached to the side of the tube, and
it worked to control the pressure within the tube. In the middle of the tube was the most important
part. There was a smaller tube (cold finger) placed, it was filled with ice cold water to ensure that the
gas would sublime, and when it came in contact with the ice cold tube, white caffeine crystals would
form. To ensure that no water got into the tube where the crude substance was, we used saran wrap to
block it. If water had gotten into the crude caffeine tube, then the caffeine would have dissolved. We
also had to be careful when taking out the inner tube that had the caffeine crystals as they were

The Flying Machine Ray Bradbury
Mains Ideas Evident In The Text
The Flying Machine explores the idea of new technological improvements with no clear goal; will
they be used to aid humanity or harm it? In one hand, the man creates a flying machine of bamboo and
paper; which allows him to soar in the sky and explore beauty of the land. However, the inventor only
sees the good in his creation. On the other hand, the Emperor sees the negative consequences of the
machine, where he feels the danger of it falling into the evil hands; therefore, bringing ruin to his
people. However, the Emperor has a machine of his own; a miniature toy like town, where people

The Flying Machine was set in a Kingdom inside the Great Wall of China around the time period of
400 A.D.
It is set early in the morning, as the emperor states, The air is sweet this morning . The short story also
mentions, Early on the morning of the first day of the first week.. We can assume that the short story
happened around February 1st as the Julian calendar was referred. However, we can also conclude that
it might have happened after February 1st based on the Chinese Lunar calendar. It mentions in the
short story that the land is readying however it doesn t reveal which crops, therefore we can predict
that it is either spring or summer.
This information is significant as it suggests rebirth and a new beginning. The atmosphere created in
the story was peaceful and tranquil which juxtaposes the natural world of the setting to the mechanical
world of the inventor.
Along with setting, the characters also play a major role in The Flying Machine. The main characters
are; Yuan, the emperor of China, the inventor, and the

Curling Vs. Chess
Most people don t think about the games curling or chess much. Of those that do, most would consider
these two activities to have few to no similarities, except that neither of their championships are going
to be shown on ESPN. Curling is a game played on ice that consists of multiple rounds, called ends, of
each team taking turns sliding stones to have the most closest to the center of a target, known as the
house. Chess is a board game played by two players taking turns moving their playing pieces, each
with different abilities, across a board with the goal of capturing the opponent s king. Though these
may seem like two mutually exclusive activities, they do share one important element: they both rely
heavily on strategy. The games curling ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In curling, the act of using a shot for the purpose of removing an opponent s stone from play is known
as a takeout shot. One primarily uses takeouts for the purpose of removing an opponent s stone in
scoring position from play. This can prevent the opponent from scoring during that end. Chess also has
an emphasis on removing opponents important pieces from play. Players often take any opportunity to
remove an opponent s queen or rook from play, even if removing it results in the player losing one of
their pieces. This happens because when one removes these pieces, it makes it more difficult for the
opponent to reach their final goal of capturing their king. However, in each of these games, one may
also remove an opponent s pieces used for guarding others. In curling, one may take out the opponent
s guards to make it easier for them to place their own stones in a scoring position. In chess, a player
may remove the opponent s pawns for the for the purpose of making it easier to place the opponent s
king in checkmate. In both these games taking out the opponent s pieces clearly have important
strategic benefits that help oneself as well as making it more difficult for their opponent. Taking out an
opponent s pieces shows another tool used in each of these strategies, but these tools are only useful

APA Style Of Writing
Style is a reflection of one s inner self. It allows our feelings, thoughts and perceptions to speak for
each of us. But, when it comes to conveying information a standardized style is needed. There are
different standardized styles that are in use but during this essay we will look at the style known as
APA created in 1929 and published by the American Psychological Association (Bethel, 2014).
APA style of writing was created with specific rules and guidelines to allow the writings of
professionals to be more consistent to interpretation (Bethel, 2014). The guidelines clearly state how
one is to incorporate citations throughout the text of the essay as well as how to clearly create a
reference listing at the end of a manuscript. Many

Driving into Ann Arbor and seeing all the University of Michigan flags on the houses gave me the

university s engineering program I knew I was right. While at tech day I was able to preform a hands

community aspect of the university. The engineering program at the University of Michigan stresses
the importance of group work and the ability to work with others. Once in the career world this skill is
crucial because Biomedical Engineering requires interaction with many other people. The community
aspect of the engineering program has attracted and captured me at the University of Michigan. ...

it will also refer to how and why life changed during the war. In the early 20th century women s lives
were a repeated routine, which unfortunately was the same every single day. Women were not allowed

New jobs were created in these munitions factories, and by the end of the war over 900,000 women

The chemicals used in the explosives caused workers to vomit and eventually turned their skin yellow,

many working class women were willing to do this work. When the war ended men came back to

The Religous Unaffiliated in the Article, “Nones on the Rise
We all know that religion is an organized system regarding the spiritual or supernatural along with
various practices that give numerous individuals a sense of purpose in the world and allows these
individuals to understand things beyond their reach. However, while reading the articles from Nones
on the Rise, it is evident that there is an increase in the number of individuals who claim unaffiliation
to any religion in the United States. Nones gives the facts and figures of the Americans who do not
place themselves in any religious category, with an approximate one in five of the public claiming no

way. The entire article is an intriguing one because it breaks everything down, from what it means to
be unaffiliated religiously to the composition of the unaffiliated, the demographics of the unaffiliated
and theories as to why there is an increase in the numbers of the years. It is interesting to see how
people view themselves when it comes to their beliefs. The article discusses a couple of reasons
behind the increase of unaffiliated Americans. It is thought that the growth is a result of newer
generations replacing older generations. It is evident that elders are more likely to proclaim religion
than young adults. This is not the only factor. In addition to the general replacement, the decrease of
religious commitment among some of the individuals is also said to be a

Restraint of Feminine Power in Kubla Kahn, Heart of...
Feminine power has long struck awe into the very heart of humanity. From modern believers in a
single female God to the early Pagan religions, which considered every woman a goddess due to the
mysterious and god like power of the sacred feminine to create life, people of various faiths and time
periods have revered the powers of womanhood. In traditional American culture, however, women are
supposedly powerless and fragile, and men supposedly have both physical and political power. Is this
true for modern society? Are our gender roles such that women are fragile and powerless, despite the
historical prevalence of faith in the mysterious and creative powers of the female? Or are men fragile,
and is modern feminine power not diminished ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The poetic depiction of the first woman emanates a feeling of mystery, because she exists within the
poem but not the setting that is, she appears only for the effect of comparison and because of her
mysterious circumstances: why would she feel so pained as to be wailing ? Who, and what, is her
demon lover ? The speaker s illustration of the second woman also exudes mystery, for she too exists
but not in the scene, and because she originates from an unexplained vision and sings of the non
existent Mount Abora (739.I 41). This musical woman also appears to embody creativity, both as a
creator of music and as the inspiration for the speaker to build a vast dome. Through such inspiration,
the male speaker directs the creativity of this woman toward his own, thereby deriving from her his
own generative impulse; thus, the speaker attempts to, in a word, appropriate her creativity for his own
use. He deepens this appropriative effect by admitting that his power stems from [drinking] the milk
of Paradise (739.I 54), which the previously mentioned females essentially prepare through the
succession of powerful female images. The layers of the male s exploitation of the females power
bring to light the speaker s own incapacity for original emotion and creativity, and, as a result, expose
his true frailty.

As he walked inside the bakery, the smell of fresh baked bread made his stomach grumble with

The 14th Amendment And The Citizenship Clause

14th Amendment and the Citizenship Clause
Before the 14th Amendment was enacted, each State had the right to determine the citizenship of
children born within its borders; anyone who became a citizen of any State was automatically a citizen
of the United States. Its Citizenship Clause provides a broad definition which held that blacks could
not be citizens of the United States. The 14th amendment is defined as an amendment to the U.S.
Constitution, ratified in 1868, defining national citizenship and forbidding the states to restrict the
basic rights of citizens or other persons. In the 14th amendment you will find the Citizenship Clause.

novel there is a recurring theme of betrayal. The one that seems to be affected by the curse of betrayal
the most is the main character, Jane Eyre, herself. Her first encounter with betrayal came about when
she was still just a child. And as she grew older and experienced the world new ways unlike before,
she could never escape the curse of betrayal. Jane s first encounter with betrayal was when she was
still a child and her Uncle Reed brought her along to live with him and his family in Gateshead, after
Jane s parents had passed away. Jane s Uncle Reed had promised to raise her as if she were one of his
own children. However, this only lasted until Uncle Reed passed away. After Jane s uncle had passed,
Jane s aunt and her three children had mistreated her and in some cases physically abused. On one
particular day she was minding her own business whilst reading Bewick s History of British Birds, her
obnoxious cousin John Reed was looking for Jane. Once he finds her, he treats her as if she was
inferior to him, he wants his cousin to refer to him as Master Reed. This already not being indicative
of raising Jane as one of their own, her cousin John continues to undermine her even more and takes
the book from her and ends up throwing it at her causing her to get a cut by

Colonialism Essay
During the period of Colonialism, the English settlers arrived in America from Europe looking for
religious freedom, land and the opportunity for wealth. While the Spanish Settlers arrived at
Hispaniola unexpectedly, like the English; however, the Spanish did not leave Europe because of
religion persecution; rather, they wanted to expand their religious belief to the New Word. While in
both the English and the Spanish colonization, the Indigenous people were oppressed and enslaved but
the English took a different approach. Thereby, although both the English and the European colonized
in order to obtain gold and silver to help their countries wealth, the Spanish explorers took a more
forceful method of gaining land.
Colonialism is the reason the world is how it s today geographically, culturally, socially and in many
other aspects. The economic systems such as capitalism was derived from the earliest period of
colonialism, with the Spanish imposing taxes on the Indians and the cheap labor the Indians provided.
However, the beginning of colonization in the Americas confine with a deadly period of slavery and
the termination of Indian populations. For example, the introduction of diseases such as smallpox
which cause the death of millions of Native Americans. It was the largest smallpox epidemic, it spread
across most of the continent of North America. Thus, with colonization, regardless from which nation
or empires was coming from, diseases were introduced to populations with

Jane Austen Influences
Jane Austen
In the Romantic era, there were many British writers who entertained audiences around the world.
Today, their works are considered legendary. Many of these writers were females who not only
produced short works, but longer novels as well. Many of these writers had personal experiences that
influenced their writing. One of the dominant writers of this era, who found influences through her
personal experiences with education and family was Jane Austen. Her life was filled with spending
time with her siblings, going to school, and having fun. Austen s family shaped her into the known
author she is today. Her most famous work is Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen was born on December
16th, 1775 to Reverend George Austen and Cassandra Austen in Hampshire, England. She was the
seventh of eight children and the second daughter. Their children listed in order from first born to last
are: James, George, Edward, Henry, Cassandra, Francis, Austen, and Charles. In 1783 Austen and her
elder sister Cassandra went to Mrs. Crawley s boarding School in Oxford for their education. At the
age of thirty three, Jane Austen died in Winchester, England; she died on July 18th, 1816 from
Addison s disease, which is a medical condition in which the adrenal glands (glands right above the
kidney) do not produce enough of certain kinds of hormones ( Addison s Disease ). On the other hand,
some researchers say that Austen died from Hodgkin s Lymphoma, which is a type of cancer that
attacks the immune system and spreads throughout the rest of the body ( Hodgkin s Lymphoma ).
There is also some new research that suggests she may have died of tuberculosis. This was an illness
that was more common during the time period in which she lived. People could get it from drinking
unpasteurized milk or being exposed to cattle. Austen is buried in Winchester, England in the
Winchester Cathedral which is open for visitors. Austen never had any children; in fact, she was
young when she died and sadly had not married yet even though most of her works were romantic
books and talked about love and getting married, ending with the typical and they lived happily ever
after (Warren). Jane Austen lived a wondrous and

Abbasid Al-Rahman Research Paper
While the Abbasids seized power on the Arabian Peninsula, the Umayyad leader Abd al Rahman fled
to the Iberian Peninsula and built a magnificent kingdom. When he reached Spain, he made it Al
Andalus, also known as Muslim Spain. He gained power by uniting the factions that were already
there and defeating the ruling factions. Al Andalus became a glorious kingdom in the Muslim empire
because they had powerful leaders, a stable government, and effective tactics for expansion. The
reasons for their decline will also be mentioned in this essay. The most prominent leaders of Al
Andalus were Abd al Rahman I, Abd al Rahman II, and Abd al Rahman III. The Abbasids joined
forces with other groups opposing the Umayyads on the Arabian Peninsula, and slaughtered

A Contract Is An Agreement Between Two Or More Persons,...
A contract is an agreement between two or more persons, and is voluntary within Scots Law. It is one
of two types of obligations, the other, a Promise. To form a contract, all parties entering must have the
capacity meaning they must be sane under the terms stated within the law. Those entering must be
fully aware of what they are undertaking, having a sound understanding of the contracts terms. A
contract has two principles that must take place for it to be finalized an offer and an acceptance. One
of the parties makes the offer to the other to enter a legally binding contract under offerors terms. The
offeree (party receiving the offer) must agree to the stated terms for a contract to be formed, if they do
not and attempt to change any terms then no contract is formed. If both elements do not take place,
then under the law no contract has been formed. Multiple offers with different terms can be made
before any acceptance is given, most likely because the parties are trying to come to an agreement of
the contractual terms. For a contract to be formed, there must be consensus in Idem, Latin for a
meeting of the minds all important elements of the contract must be met during this. All parties must
be aware of the same things and to carry out their side of the contract. The parties must fully
understand that by entering the contract they agree to being bound by the terms of the contract. An
objective test would be used by a court to determine if there has been a

Heritage, a Theme in Alice Walker´s Everyday Use
Alice Walker sets Everyday Use as a story of a mother and two daughters where the older daughter,
Dee, is coming home to visit them after being away for a while. Walker sets the tone of the story by
displaying how poor and uneducated the family is and how Dee while growing up was always looking
for better things never appreciating the aspects of her life. As the story develops, the focus of the story
is on a set of quilts made by the mother from pieces of clothing that belonged to her grandparents and
the personal battle of who should really keep them in order to appreciate the heritage behind them. In
Everyday Use a person can see how Maggie and Dee differ on the fact that heritage is a characteristic
of pride that a person displays every day of their life versus a fad for a specific period of someone s
life.
While growing up Dee was always resentful of the lifestyle that she had as it did not measure to the
better things she was always dreaming of. While the mother recounts the story of when their original
house burned to the ground, she mentions how Dee stood there concentrating at the way the house
slowly disappeared in the fire since she hated the house that much (Walker 298). This aspect sets the
tone of how Dee was never willing to embody the characteristics of her life growing up, and it can be
seen how she was ashamed of where she came from as later she writes her mother in a letter of how
she will always try to visit them, but she will never bring her

The Kite Runner Is A Powerful Book Contrasting Selfishness...
The Kite Runner is a powerful book contrasting selfishness and selflessness. The book follows the life
of Amir, a character who experiences guilt and tragedy throughout his life. While growing up in
Kabul, Amir witnesses the imperfect and prejudice society in his country. Within an imperfect society,
there are many who are self invested, and among those, there are those who are selfless. Characters
Amir and Hassan possess selfish and selfless traits. The traits that these characters possess are
influenced by fear, victimization, and loyalty, ultimately leading them to inaction and action.
Amir s selfishness is often channeled through his guilt and sense of fear. Although Amir witnesses the
tragic event that unfolds in front of his eyes, he immediately realizes that he fails to prove his loyalty
to Hassan. While staring down the alley, Amir realized that he had one last chance to make a decision.
One final opportunity to decide who I was going to be. I could step into that alley, stand up for Hassan
the way he d stood up for me all those times in the past and accept whatever would happen to me. Or I
could run. In the end...I ran because I was a coward (77). By witnessing what was happening in the
alley, a sense of fear rushed over Amir, ultimately leading to his decision of running away like a
coward. By running away, Amir shows that he cares more about himself in this situation than he does
about Hassan. He has a fear of what will happen to him if he intervenes, when

School Uniforms And The American Civil Liberties Union Of...
Traditionally favored by charter and private schools, and institutions of the like, school uniforms are
being introduced to public schools at an increasing rate. The First Amendment of the United States
Constitution guarantees all citizens the right to express oneself; The American Civil Liberties Union
of Nevada states that having a choice in clothing is ...Crucial form of self expression. The ACLU also
argues that allowing students to choose their clothing is an empowering message from the schools that
a student is a maturing person who is entitled to the most basic self determination, (Four Reasons).
Self expression of style aside, choices in clothing are also a popular method of expressing support for
any variety of social causes, ideologies, and affiliations, and school uniforms strip students of this
option completely. Schools broadcast a mixed message of sorts when boasting their appreciation and
encouragement for diversity, yet enforcing a standardized uniform which severely limits individuals
from expressing this diversity. The Huffington Post published the argument of a Kyler Sumter, 16, of

Forensic Disciplines
For this investigation there were multiple forensic disciplines involved on this case. One of the
forensic disciplines that were involved were toxicology. The toxicology team worked to determine if
Jessica William had any illegal substances in her body. They also worked to find if there was any
impairment involved, which could have been the cause. In her case Jessica blood was found to contain
5.5 nanograms of THC, along with trace amounts of ecstasy (Cervone, 2013). In this case in the state
of Nevada if a person has more than 2 nanograms of THC in their body than they are considered
impaired. Another forensic discipline that was involved would have been engineering sciences, which
would try to figure out how the accident occurs when mechanics are involved such as cars and roads.
Engineering sciences were able to help officers determine what the speed of the vehicle was going at
when the incident occurred. With their help they were able to determine the speed of the vehicle and
that it was going at a speed of 75 mph on I 15. Forensic pathology was also necessary to determine the

History of Income Tax
Income tax is a vital source of funds to any government. Money raised by taxing the working
population can be used to fund infrastructure development as well as improving the standard of living
in the country. United Kingdom was the first the country to establish a working income tax on its
civilians in 1799. Initially implemented as a temporary source of income to fund the war to beat
Napoleon, income tax is now an essential source of revenue for the government all over the world.
This report will look at the significance of income tax in the UK since the late 18th century, through
World War 1 and World War 2, and how it has evolved into the tax system, currently in practice.

Even though Sir Robert Peel was not in favour of income tax, he introduced income tax again in his
Budget of 1842 that was considered to be one of the most famous in the 19th century. Peel taxed
people earning above £150, this resulted in favour of the less wealthy people. Also under custom
duties there were 1200 articles, of which Peel reduced 750 articles on his budget. His taxation plan
was on action for a period of three years. But it was extended for another two years due to an increase
in the national expenditure, and also to help the national railways because the railway industry had
less money. When cheaper imports were available, Corn Laws were created which is a tariff on
imports. This helped the local farmers as they had a competitive advantage, but Peel repealed the Corn
Laws. This made him loose support of his party. William Galdstone and Benjamin Disraeli had
complete authority during the second half of the 19th century. From the year 1853 to 1866, William
Gladstone was elected as the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Gladstone did not follow Peel s method of
income tax policy; instead he wanted to terminate it. He also believed that government spending
should be kept to a minimum level. Gladstone reduced the income tax exemptions from £150 to £100;
he thought that if more people pay then there would be a huge pressure form the public to repeal the
tax. But in order to fund the Crimean war, Gladstone

Understanding Hamlet s Famous Speech in Shakespeare s Hamlet
Hamlet s classsic To be or not to be... (Hamlet, prince of Denmark, 3.1.57) speech really shows who
he is. Obviously Hamlet is horribly depressed. We have already seen several examples of this, but this
speech gives us a clear picture of his sadness. More importantly however, his speech shows his
weakness and indecisiveness. Hamlet is consistently melancholy, but he never really acts on it; he just
kind of wallows around, full of self pity and loathing. Finally, it gives us Hamlet s reason for not
committing suicide. Throughout the play he seems to wish for death and here we find out why he
doesn t bring it on himself. This also gives us a window into his personality. This ... Show more

As though he only wishes to rest and forget his troubled soul. We see here for the first time why he
wants to die. It is not that he feels there is too much pain or strife in life, but that he is tired with
dealing with it and exausted by his efforts. Hamlet says in this speech, in as plain of language as he
can, that he is depressed and wants to die. But, he has said that before. This speech gives us our first
clear indication as to his reason for craving death. More interestingly, Hamlet shows here his
fundamental cowardice and fear. He has been going on for the whole play about how terrible his life is
and how much pain and suffering he has had to endure, and he starts out the speech on this note. This
is the first indication of his weakness. Hamlet it seems would rather bemoan his troubles than solve
them. He goes on and on about his crappy life but rarely, if ever, even tries to do anything about it.
Even in his desire for death he will speak but not act. He has wished for ceath at least ten times during
the play, but when it comes right down to it Hamlet is to scared to act on his desire. He doesn t decide
against suicide because of some noble realization (that life is far to precious to be wasted for
example), he is just too scared of the afterlife. Hamlet, in the play up to this point, claims to be in dire
straits but his paralyzing fear keeps him from action. He would rather suffer with

Hiv And Its Effects On Hiv
HIV does not make people dangerous to know. You can shake their hands and give them a hug.
Heaven knows they need it. (Diana, 1987) Princess Diana declared these words at an Aids Center in
London as she sat on the bed of a patient and held his hand. She did this to destroy the notion that a
majority of the population believed that the virus could be spread through casual contact (Thompson,
2007). HIV remains for human immunodeficiency infection. The infection can lead to acquired
immunodeficiency syndrome, or AIDS. Dissimilar to some different infections, the human body can t
dispose of HIV. That implies that once you have HIV, you have it forever (Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention, 2015). Today, scientists are still working to find a treatment for HIV and the recent
studies show that a new vaccine will be developed by 2025 (Fauci,2008). These are quite promising
studies for the whole world. However, it is important to understand people who are living with that
virus are also struggling with social, economic and psychological problems. Recent researches
demonstrate that HIV might have got over from apes to humans roughly in the late 1800 s. After the
19th century, HIV has gradually sprawled across Africa and then into other parts of the world.
According to the CDC, HIV has discovered in the US in the early 1980s (CDC, 2015). Generally,
acute infection, clinical latency and finally AIDS are the three major stages of HIV. High fever, rash

Asbestos and Its Effects on Human Health
I. Introduction
Asbestos refers to a group of minerals that take the form of thin crystal fibers. Asbestos has a history
of being mined for its physical properties that made it well suited for use in the construction and
automobile industries. There are six known types of asbestos that can be found in the environment, all
with similar and different properties. These types are referred to as chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite
tremolite, actinolite, and anthophyllite Scientific research in recent decades has revealed toxicity
associated with exposure in all types. Numerous major health organizations have agreed on the
carcinogenicity of the mineral leading to strict regulations of its use.
The Greeks who discovered it referred to it as inextinguishable and indestructible. History reveals that
Romans had used asbestos and made connections to exposure and health concerns. Large scale mining
of the mineral began in the 1800s and was heavily used until recent decades. Around the beginning of
the 1900s, serious medical exploration of asbestos began and started to become a well known job
hazard. By the 1970s, long term effects of exposure were undeniable (Barbalace 2004).
Since then, a significant decrease in the consumption of asbestos products has been seen, especially in
the United States. Increased knowledge of the potential dangers of the mineral has lead people to fear
asbestos creating a need for suitable alternatives (Toxicological 2001).

West Branches, which are managed by the West LA Library Branch Manager. This manager receives
orders and guidelines to follow from the head office. Next in the line of command, is the head

helping the head librarian, are four other librarians. Each librarian is in charge of ordering and locating
books, outreach programs and reading circles. Underneath them are the clerks. The clerks are assigned
to a particular librarian to take care of daily tasks such as counting the cash, checking return boxes and
deliveries, and reshelving books. Finally, the lowest in the task force are the messenger clerks, who
are part time employees who also work with particular librarians. Each position is assigned specific
tasks and assignments. The workplace is best represented by the New Workplace, which offers flatter,
more diverse and team centralized management. In terms of management, the head librarian serves as
a better leader by facilitating self management with better and more open communication lines. The
communication is two sided and the head librarian when delegating tasks is very responsive and
provides an open environment where questioned are welcomed. There is also strong team association

The Story Shortcomings On Declining Of Miko s And Ben...
The story Shortcomings focuses on declining of Miko s and Ben relation. According to the narrative,
Miko and Ben had fights and Miko moved to New York City for an internship, the pressure got even
worse. As we keep on reading the narrative, we get to know that it discusses stereotypes that impact
our sense of identity and our outlook. The author Adrian has done a great work explaining different
ways in which ethnic stereotypes can affect an individual mentally.
The argument about Ben and Miko s relationship provides a better understanding of race and identity
and its impact and consequences on gender. Throughout the narrative, Ben is the type of character that
is represented as not being comfortable with himself. He is pressurized to resist his identity and later
come to terms with the stereotypes he faces as being an Asian American male. In other words, he has
been confused and never fully capable to come to terms with his own identification and status. So
some major themes discussed in the narrative are based on masculinity and sexual inefficiency. The
difficulty that Ben faces in his own identity is to analyze what it means to be an Asian American male.
One of the stereotypes regarding Asian males is that they are sexually inadequate, nonetheless this is
not declared until more than halfway through the narrative, when Ben went after a sexual relationship
with a white woman (Tomine, 58). For Ben, his ethnic identity lies in his sexual identity. According to

Aztec empire and also for being the first governor of Mexico. This led to complete transformation of
Mexico to new world forming new lifestyle for the native people. This essay would talk about Hernan
Cortes s life and achievements, his intentions behind his every step, in my opinion and according to

who were captured by Aztec and also the one who were never got conquered by them. These alliances
helped Cortes in increasing the size of armed forces and also helped him in getting information about
the size of forces of Aztec, their strategies and how they could recognize the leaders, which lead to

Isn t this such a treat? Semmia marvels as she pulls apart the platinum doors and escorts us into a
dining room filled with beautiful cakes and snacks that even District one hadn t the pleasure of seeing.
I bite my lip and she motions to the two center seats and we automatically adopt a nervous pose in
them. I had never felt so frightened in my life. I am going to ask the driver how long it shall take to get
to the capitol we had to change course because of a little animal outbreak on the tracks, she smiles
with glee before stepping out of our line of sight and leaving us in an awkward silence. Don t worry,

and she stops she just stops her talking and goes quiet, and I leave her to that. I never was very good at
simple conversations. The buddy tactic seemed to be shot out the water as she d already pointed out
she knew my flaw. I had already begun to gnaw on my lips to the point they were red raw when Renee
nudged my arm and brought me back to reality. My eyes adjusted to the lights that seemed to be
flaring and I took in our mentors. They didn t seem the most friendly to me, infact they seemed to
possess the ability to chew off our heads. Chin up, no need to look so glum Mitch. Congratulations!
Althea gushes towards me with the same glee that Semmia possessed. Magnar glares at me, with an
element of pity in his eyes he knows I ll die too. It s the same look my mother had. Right, tell us what
you can do. Magnar demands, barking at Renee who stays composed before rolling her eyes, I can

Psychopathy and Crime Essay
Psychopathy is a disease of the mind, in which the psychological state of someone has emotional or
behavioral problems serious enough to require psychiatric evaluation. Psychopaths have no concern
for the feelings of others and a complete disregard of any sense of social obligation. Psychopaths are
characterized by lack of empathy, poor impulse control and manipulative behaviors. They use charm,
manipulation, intimidation, and the use of severe to mild violence to satisfy their own needs.
Psychopathy is derived from two Greek words: psych, meaning soul, and pathos, meaning suffering.
They were once used to explain any form of mental illness. Psychopathy was recognized in the early
1800 s at which time Pinel explained the condition ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

disorder kicks in. Psychopaths that have been put in jail committed three times as many crimes per
year then non psychopaths. 97% of convicted psychopathic criminals cause at least one violent crime
compared to 74% of non psychopaths. Psychopaths are shown to be more violence throughout their
entire life compared to a regular people. Psychopaths tend to have a greater chance of failing on parole
and mandatory supervision and have a faster rate of failing then non psychopaths. Psychopathy

America s Disagreement During The Vietnam War
The Quebec Agreement was signed on August 19, 1943 between the United States and Great Britain
and guaranteed that the two countries would share scientific information relating to the atomic bomb
project, also known as interchange. From the beginning of the project they had agreed to share
information in order for a bomb to be built during the war, but once it moved into the development
stage James Conant suggested to President Roosevelt that their agreement was no longer viable.
Conant argued that the bomb could not possibly be used by the British during the war and therefore
the United States did not have to honor the interchange agreement. The United States was not ready to
enter into a post war alliance at that point and it was obvious that Britain did not have the resources
necessary to build bombs that could be used during the war. However, the realities of the post war
situation eventually won the day and the United States and Great Britain resumed full ... Show more

be able to stand up to the size and strength of the Red Army on its own however. In order to
effectively resist Soviet encroachment, Britain needed the atomic bomb. Britain also needed to be
economically stable which the United States set out to assist them with as well. Assuring Britain s
military and economic strength was paramount to American ambitions in Europe. After all, the United
Kingdom was no use to the United States if they were not strong. However, in tying its post war

Research Paper On Forest Fire
Air Quality with Forest Fires Since 1970, raging forest fires have doubled. Climate Central reports,
this is because of climate change which has brought hotter summers and longer fire seasons.
Throughout this paper, I will go over how forest fires are contributing to air pollution, ground ozone,
the impacts on humans, and the response to the problem. This is a problem that individuals can t help
but there are ways they can keep safe and stay healthy when forest fires arise in their areas. Naturally
occurring forest fires are a necessity for certain species like the lodgepole pine tree. Fire helps reduce
competition and help the species release its seeds. According to National Geographic, each year there
is an average of more than 100,000 forest fires that clear 4 million to 5 million acres of land in the
United States. Intense wildfires have been on the rise, increasing to 9 million acres of land due to
climate change, drought, and other conditions. These fires can damage forests so badly that it takes
years for them to naturally recover. Forest fires are caused when you have the fire triangle which is
fuel, oxygen, and a heat source. The more fuel, trees, grasses, and brush, the more intense the fire can
become. National Geographic states, the West is the most common place in the United States for forest
fires. Heat, drought, and frequent thunderstorms are the perfect environment for a forest fire to start.
California experiences some of the worst fires because of the

The Pros And Cons Of The Ivy League
The Ivy League is a group of eight private universities located in the Northeastern region of the United
States. The Ivy League has general connotations of academic excellence and elitism, including
universities like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. They are viewed as the most eminent, and ranked
among the finest universities in the world, especially in business, law, and medicine. Each school
receives millions in research grants and other subsidies from federal and state governments, and
universities like Harvard have over $34 billion in endowment funds. With small enrollment rates, that
amounts to a lot of money per student. This allows the Ivy League universities to afford the resources
needed for their academic programs and research endeavors. The Ivy League schools are highly
selective, with low acceptance ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This disadvantages bright students who lack upper class resources. Lower class students tend to make
poorly informed, random, or impulse decisions about college: where to go, how to get in, and what
college is about. Given the unlikelihood that their parents have never set foot on a college campus,
academically promising lower class students can become overwhelmed during the application process.
If these students are looking towards applying to top universities like the Ivy League, they are
competing against groomed upper class kids who know how to write application essays by parents,
high school counselors, and professionals paid for by their parents. Low class students find themselves
ignorant about admission requirements, costs of college and possibilities of financial aid, and how to
apply. Most didn t know what to major in to relate to their professional aspirations. Poorly informed
students are more likely to go to college closer to home, like community colleges or junior colleges, or
less prestigious public

  • 2. The Holy Ghost Is The Second Part Of The Godhead Trinity The Holy Ghost Who is the Holy Ghost? He is the third part of the Godhead trinity. He is known as a teacher, comforter, advocate, helper, power and so much more. The Holy Ghost should never be referred to as an it . He is a person that we should all come know. What is his purpose? He came to teach us about God and Jesus, he knows them best. He comforts, helps, guide, empowers, advocates, fills us, and so much more. In essence He equips us for the journey ahead. He will be the one that will help us possess the Promised Land in our lives. In the Old Testament, the Spirit of God could not dwell in a person because of sin. They were in need of a Savior to pay that debt so that there would be no more sacrificing of animals. The Spirit of God ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Importance of Walking In the Spirit In order for us to possess our land we have to do it by the Spirit of God. We talked previously about things being discerned or perceived. The Spirit of God brings heaven on earth for us by making the word come alive. God is Spirit and those that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth. Everything about God is spirit, we have to utilize him in our natural world just at Jesus did. Jesus not only told us but showed us the way to do it. • 3. The Machine Stops, By Em Forster In this essay I will discuss EM Forster s short story The Machine Stops, which is a cautionary tale about technological progress and its impact on various aspects of human behavior, including isolation and solitude, risk avoidance and contact avoidance, communication and social connections, and the nature of the residents of the Machine s relationship with knowledge. I will specifically touch on all of these ideas and how they connect with one another in that they are all products of our desire for comfort, but inevitably lead to disconnection and the end of humanity. Additionally, I will discuss the prescience of the short story in relation to the present day, where technological advancement and dependence have come a long ways since the ... The Machine did not transmit nuances of expression. It only gave a general idea of people an idea that was good enough for all practical purposes (3). Later, Forster writes, Something good enough had long since been accepted by our race (3). Forster is making a statement that although, in the world of the Machine, there is great technological advancement, the use of technology to communicate will never match the nuance of face to face communication. Further, they have accepted that the communication through technology is good enough, which leads one to conclude that the lack of nuance in this type of communication is met with compliance. It is important to note that Kuno is notably not content with communication through the Machine. He says, I want to speak to you not through the wearisome Machine and I hear something like you through this telephone, but I do not hear you...pay me a visit, so that we can meet face to face (2). The Kuno character is Forster s means of discussing the value of face to face communication. Anarchism In Emma Goldman s What I Believe I enjoyed Emma Goldman s What I Believe it was a breath of fresh air in contrast to last weeks excruciating reading of Henry David Thoreau s Where I Lived, and What I Lived For which seemed like a glorified account of a basement nerd turned naturalist hippy for the sake of eking out an original existence from the society that rejected him for his homely looks and unfortunate events that followed him. Nevertheless his literary contributions helped the collective intellect of the literary world. Her points on militarism are valid and the fact that America has one of the largest incarcerated populations and biggest military budgets are a symptom of a capitalist system that lack reforms but, I feel that these points are more about a call for transparency and reform rather than the dismantling of the government. Of those that do, most would consider these two activities to have few to no similarities, except that neither of their championships are going to be shown on ESPN. Curling is a game played on ice that consists of multiple rounds, called ends, of each team taking turns sliding stones to have the most closest to the center of a target, known as the house. Chess is a board game played by two players taking turns moving their playing pieces, each with different abilities, across a board with the goal of capturing the opponent s king. In curling, the act of using a shot for the purpose of removing an opponent s stone from play is known as a takeout shot. One primarily uses takeouts for the purpose of removing an opponent s stone in scoring position from play. This can prevent the opponent from scoring during that end. Chess also has an emphasis on removing opponents important pieces from play. Players often take any opportunity to remove an opponent s queen or rook from play, even if removing it results in the player losing one of their pieces. This happens because when one removes these pieces, it makes it more difficult for the opponent to reach their final goal of capturing their king. However, in each of these games, one may also remove an opponent s pieces used for guarding others. From modern believers in a single female God to the early Pagan religions, which considered every woman a goddess due to the mysterious and god like power of the sacred feminine to create life, people of various faiths and time periods have revered the powers of womanhood. In traditional American culture, however, women are supposedly powerless and fragile, and men supposedly have both physical and political power. Is this true for modern society? The poetic depiction of the first woman emanates a feeling of mystery, because she exists within the poem but not the setting that is, she appears only for the effect of comparison and because of her mysterious circumstances: why would she feel so pained as to be wailing ? Who, and what, is her demon lover ? The speaker s illustration of the second woman also exudes mystery, for she too exists but not in the scene, and because she originates from an unexplained vision and sings of the non existent Mount Abora (739.I 41). This musical woman also appears to embody creativity, both as a creator of music and as the inspiration for the speaker to build a vast dome. Through such inspiration, the male speaker directs the creativity of this woman toward his own, thereby deriving from her his own generative impulse; thus, the speaker attempts to, in a word, appropriate her creativity for his own use. He deepens this appropriative effect by admitting that his power stems from [drinking] the milk of Paradise (739.I 54), which the previously mentioned females essentially prepare through the succession of powerful female images. • 20. Theme Of Betrayal In Jane Eyre In the novel, Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Brontë there were many incidents that had affected the overall plot of the book. Sometimes an author adds certain events or ideas to help accentuate the plot. In this novel there is a recurring theme of betrayal. The one that seems to be affected by the curse of betrayal the most is the main character, Jane Eyre, herself. Her first encounter with betrayal came about when she was still just a child. And as she grew older and experienced the world new ways unlike before, she could never escape the curse of betrayal. Jane s first encounter with betrayal was when she was still a child and her Uncle Reed brought her along to live with him and his family in Gateshead, after Jane s parents had passed away. Jane s Uncle Reed had promised to raise her as if she were one of his own children. However, this only lasted until Uncle Reed passed away. After Jane s uncle had passed, Jane s aunt and her three children had mistreated her and in some cases physically abused. On one particular day she was minding her own business whilst reading Bewick s History of British Birds, her obnoxious cousin John Reed was looking for Jane. Once he finds her, he treats her as if she was inferior to him, he wants his cousin to refer to him as Master Reed. This already not being indicative of raising Jane as one of their own, her cousin John continues to undermine her even more and takes the book from her and ends up throwing it at her causing her to get a cut by ... One of the dominant writers of this era, who found influences through her personal experiences with education and family was Jane Austen. It is one of two types of obligations, the other, a Promise. To form a contract, all parties entering must have the capacity meaning they must be sane under the terms stated within the law. Those entering must be fully aware of what they are undertaking, having a sound understanding of the contracts terms. A contract has two principles that must take place for it to be finalized an offer and an acceptance. One of the parties makes the offer to the other to enter a legally binding contract under offerors terms. The offeree (party receiving the offer) must agree to the stated terms for a contract to be formed, if they do not and attempt to change any terms then no contract is formed. If both elements do not take place, then under the law no contract has been formed. Multiple offers with different terms can be made before any acceptance is given, most likely because the parties are trying to come to an agreement of the contractual terms. For a contract to be formed, there must be consensus in Idem, Latin for a meeting of the minds all important elements of the contract must be met during this. • 26. Heritage, a Theme in Alice Walker´s Everyday Use Alice Walker sets Everyday Use as a story of a mother and two daughters where the older daughter, Dee, is coming home to visit them after being away for a while. Walker sets the tone of the story by displaying how poor and uneducated the family is and how Dee while growing up was always looking for better things never appreciating the aspects of her life. As the story develops, the focus of the story is on a set of quilts made by the mother from pieces of clothing that belonged to her grandparents and the personal battle of who should really keep them in order to appreciate the heritage behind them. In Everyday Use a person can see how Maggie and Dee differ on the fact that heritage is a characteristic of pride that a person displays every day of their life versus a fad for a specific period of someone s life. While growing up Dee was always resentful of the lifestyle that she had as it did not measure to the better things she was always dreaming of. While the mother recounts the story of when their original house burned to the ground, she mentions how Dee stood there concentrating at the way the house slowly disappeared in the fire since she hated the house that much (Walker 298). This aspect sets the tone of how Dee was never willing to embody the characteristics of her life growing up, and it can be seen how she was ashamed of where she came from as later she writes her mother in a letter of how she will always try to visit them, but she will never bring her ... Within an imperfect society, there are many who are self invested, and among those, there are those who are selfless. Characters Amir and Hassan possess selfish and selfless traits. The traits that these characters possess are influenced by fear, victimization, and loyalty, ultimately leading them to inaction and action. Amir s selfishness is often channeled through his guilt and sense of fear. Although Amir witnesses the tragic event that unfolds in front of his eyes, he immediately realizes that he fails to prove his loyalty to Hassan. While staring down the alley, Amir realized that he had one last chance to make a decision. One final opportunity to decide who I was going to be. I could step into that alley, stand up for Hassan the way he d stood up for me all those times in the past and accept whatever would happen to me. Or I could run. In the end...I ran because I was a coward (77). By witnessing what was happening in the alley, a sense of fear rushed over Amir, ultimately leading to his decision of running away like a coward. His taxation plan was on action for a period of three years. But it was extended for another two years due to an increase in the national expenditure, and also to help the national railways because the railway industry had less money. When cheaper imports were available, Corn Laws were created which is a tariff on imports. This helped the local farmers as they had a competitive advantage, but Peel repealed the Corn Laws. (Hamlet, prince of Denmark, 3.1.57) speech really shows who he is. Obviously Hamlet is horribly depressed. We have already seen several examples of this, but this speech gives us a clear picture of his sadness. More importantly however, his speech shows his weakness and indecisiveness. Hamlet is consistently melancholy, but he never really acts on it; he just kind of wallows around, full of self pity and loathing. Finally, it gives us Hamlet s reason for not committing suicide. Hamlet says in this speech, in as plain of language as he can, that he is depressed and wants to die. But, he has said that before. This speech gives us our first clear indication as to his reason for craving death. More interestingly, Hamlet shows here his fundamental cowardice and fear. He has been going on for the whole play about how terrible his life is and how much pain and suffering he has had to endure, and he starts out the speech on this note. This is the first indication of his weakness. Hamlet it seems would rather bemoan his troubles than solve them. He goes on and on about his crappy life but rarely, if ever, even tries to do anything about it. Even in his desire for death he will speak but not act. He has wished for ceath at least ten times during the play, but when it comes right down to it Hamlet is to scared to act on his desire. He doesn t decide against suicide because of some noble realization (that life is far to precious to be wasted for example), he is just too scared of the afterlife. (Diana, 1987) Princess Diana declared these words at an Aids Center in London as she sat on the bed of a patient and held his hand. She did this to destroy the notion that a majority of the population believed that the virus could be spread through casual contact (Thompson, 2007). HIV remains for human immunodeficiency infection. The infection can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, or AIDS. Dissimilar to some different infections, the human body can t dispose of HIV. That implies that once you have HIV, you have it forever (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2015). Today, scientists are still working to find a treatment for HIV and the recent studies show that a new vaccine will be developed by 2025 (Fauci,2008). These are quite promising studies for the whole world. However, it is important to understand people who are living with that virus are also struggling with social, economic and psychological problems. Asbestos has a history of being mined for its physical properties that made it well suited for use in the construction and automobile industries. There are six known types of asbestos that can be found in the environment, all with similar and different properties. These types are referred to as chrysotile, amosite, crocidolite tremolite, actinolite, and anthophyllite Scientific research in recent decades has revealed toxicity associated with exposure in all types. Numerous major health organizations have agreed on the carcinogenicity of the mineral leading to strict regulations of its use. The Greeks who discovered it referred to it as inextinguishable and indestructible. History reveals that Romans had used asbestos and made connections to exposure and health concerns. Large scale mining of the mineral began in the 1800s and was heavily used until recent decades. Around the beginning of the 1900s, serious medical exploration of asbestos began and started to become a well known job hazard. By the 1970s, long term effects of exposure were undeniable (Barbalace 2004). Naturally occurring forest fires are a necessity for certain species like the lodgepole pine tree. Fire helps reduce competition and help the species release its seeds. According to National Geographic, each year there is an average of more than 100,000 forest fires that clear 4 million to 5 million acres of land in the United States. Intense wildfires have been on the rise, increasing to 9 million acres of land due to climate change, drought, and other conditions. These fires can damage forests so badly that it takes years for them to naturally recover. Forest fires are caused when you have the fire triangle which is fuel, oxygen, and a heat source.
