How To Write A Process Essay
Crafting an essay on the intricacies of composing a process essay may seem deceptively
straightforward at first glance. However, delving into the subject reveals a multifaceted
challenge that demands a delicate balance of clarity, coherence, and instructional precision.
The difficulty arises from the necessity to not only elucidate the steps involved in the process but
also to do so in a manner that engages and instructs the reader effectively. There is a need for
meticulous planning, as each step in the process must be dissected and explained
comprehensively, leaving no room for ambiguity. Striking the right tone, one that is both
informative and engaging, adds another layer of complexity. A process essay should not merely
convey information but also captivate the reader's attention, ensuring they stay invested in the
step-by-step journey being described.
Moreover, the challenge lies in maintaining a logical flow throughout the essay. The writer must
navigate through the intricacies of the process without confusing the audience. Ensuring a
seamless transition from one step to the next is essential for the reader to grasp and retain the
information effectively.
Beyond the structural aspects, a successful essay on process writing requires an in-depth
understanding of the subject matter. This means that the writer must possess a thorough
knowledge of the process they are explaining. Lack of expertise can lead to inaccuracies,
undermining the credibility of the essay.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "How To Write A Process Essay" demands a
nuanced approach. It necessitates not only a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies
involved in the chosen process but also the ability to articulate and structure this information in a
clear, engaging, and coherent manner. Balancing these elements poses a considerable challenge,
making the task of crafting a proficient process essay both demanding and rewarding.

Successes And Failures Of American Policy Towards The

Topic: U.S Arab relations: Assessing the successes and failures of American policy
towards the GCC since 2008.
For the United States, the Gulf region remains one of the most geo strategically
important locations in the world for diplomatic, intelligence cooperation, and
business opportunities such as hydrocarbons and arms. This strategic cooperation has
provided the region some stability, particularly with the rise of Iran and the Shi a
crescent and the chaotic outcome of the war in Iraq. The council members have also
relied on the United State to fend off some of the domestic challenges to the existing
regimes that are both internally and regionally rooted.
The Gulf houses half of the world s oil reserves and a third of the natural gas. The
Gulf States still continue to supply the international markets with a significant
amount of the hydrocarbons. The stability of the region is crucial for the stability in
the global oil markets. The Gulf also hosts one of the most strategically and
important choke points in global trade, The Straits of Hormuz, which moves about
35% of the global seaborne oil, natural gas and other trade goods.
According to Taimur Khan from the National World who wrote about a report that
was published by the United States State Department they praised the GCC countries
for their strong regional and international counterterrorism cooperation. The findings
were that the UAE had the greatest progress in cutting off illegals flows of money to
Mere Christianity Sparknotes
Mere Christianity Summary Mere Christianity was written by C.S. Lewis (Clive
Staples Lewis). C.S. Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland on November 29, 1898. He
was arguably one of the intellectual giants and influential writers of the twentieth
century. Until nineteen fifty four he was a Fellow and Tutor in English Literature at
Oxford University. After that he was unanimously elected to the Chair of Medieval
and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University, a position he held until his
retirement. Clive wrote more than thirty books, allowing him to reach vast audiences,
and his books still attract readers more every year.
C.S. Lewis mother Florence Augusta passed away in August 23, 1908. In April
1918 Clive meets his lifelong friend Arthur Greeves. In September 24, 1929 Cliver
s father, Albert Lewis, died in Belfast. On October 11, 1920 Lewis, the Moores, and
later Warren, Lewis s brother, move into The Kilns . Cliver converts to Christianityin
September 1931. Cliver attended the first meeting of Oxford University s Socratic
Club on January 26, 1942. On April 23, 1956 he married Joy Davidman Gresham.
Joy is an American woman who was divorced and had a son. She married Cliver
because of his insurance. She didn t have any insurance and she was battling
cancer, so he married her to take care of her and her son. When Joy passed away
Cliver continued to take care of his step son. In June 1961 he was diagnosed with
kidney inflammation. A little later after he was diagnosed he soon passed away in

The moral law is God s fatherly instruction, showing the rules that lead to heaven

The Chimney Sweeper by William Blake Essay
In the Chimney Sweeper, William Blake portrays the lack of innocence in these
young boys lives since they are expected to have attained the experience to preform
such unjust actions. The speaker of the poem begins it by letting us know that
after his mother passed away his father gave him up to be a chimneysweeper so he
could obtain money. These two figures, his mother and father are whom kids are
supposed to depend on and look up for guidance. He feels abandoned because his
mother is gone and his father gave him up for money, this show just how poor his
family was and how his father would do anything for a chance at a better living,
whether it included his son or not. The speaker also says that he became a sweeper
when he had hardly... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The dream continues on by say that an angel came by and set them free, which
means that all of the chimneysweepers were free from work and they did not have
to put up with the terrible conditions of the job anymore. The other part of Toms
dream included that boys going to wash in the river and shine in the sun meaning
they could free them from the soot and actually see their clean skin not covered in
black. This gave Tom a sense of what freedom would actually feel like and what life
could be when he is done working as a chimneysweeper. Them being naked and
white represent the cleanliness from the soot and symbolize their youth and purity so
they can act now act and preform just how kids should. Also in line seventeen it
mentions their bags being left behind, their bags represent their memories of chimney
sweeping and how after they are free they are supposed to leave the bad memories
in the past. Next it gradually mentions that they rise upon clouds and sport in the
wind this symbolizes their second chance at life now that they are free to make
their own decisions, it is as if they are given a second chance to be who they want
to. After this Toms dream continues with the angel telling Tom that if he d be a
good boy, He d have God for his father never want joy this is dramatic irony because
Tom never got the chance to prove that he was a good boy
Public Space Research Paper
The proactive exclusion of religious expression in the public space is in direct
conflict with the conscious inclusion of said public expression during the first
century in America. The premise of separation of church and state is the tool used
by the offended to drive a wedge between the two. The religious freedoms our
founders acknowledged as rights have allowed a rich mixture of diverse religions to
be practiced independently of each other. However, these same freedoms have been
misconstrued by an irreligious minority who use them as weapons to enforce their
opinions, and chip away at the basic rights of the majority. Historically, religionand
government have been tightly intertwined. Kings would often take on the role of
Priests in addition to their stately duties, and governments would execute any citizen
they deemed disrespectful to their chosen god. These rulings were typically made by
the ruler, which led many to question the wisdom of state sponsored religion. As
time passed, the first protests of this intermingling would be heard, and a time known
as the age of enlightenment would soon emerge. As more and more countries
adapted to the idea of drawing a line between the church and State, the diverse
interpretations of the concept would vary. In Sweden, for example, religious classes
are mandatory in public schools. The United Kingdom has a... Show more content on

The minority realized they had found their means by which to remove anything
they viewed as religious from society. In agreement with Karl Marx s Conflict
Theory, an intolerant few have used a false aggrieved status as a basis from which

public schools but society as a
Urban Sprawl In Brazil
The first thing to note regards the estimated results is the effectiveness of the
measures of urban sprawl. The population density and the percentage of urban area,
the two most used measures of urban sprawl, fail in capture its effect on the cost of
providing public service in Brazilian municipalities; the parameters estimated, in most
cases, are statistically insignificant and/or have a small value. By its turn, the CV,
which shows the dispersion of the population in the urban area, is insignificant in all
the estimated equations. Whereas, the gravitational index appears to be a better
measure of urban sprawl for Brazilian high urban concentrations. It indicates that the
sprawling movement towards the edge of the municipalities increases some items of
expenditure.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A possible explanation for this might be that the model is not well specified for the
spending on urban infrastructure, since the model is common to all categories of
expenditure. If this is the case, some important variables, like political issues and the
spending on infrastructure by other government levels, not added in the model, can
influence the effects of the urban sprawl. This explanation can also be extended to
others expenditure items in which the parameters of urban sprawl are not statistically

Cuban Embargo And The Embargo
Introduction
The Cuban Embargo is restricting Cuba as a whole from progressing and advancing
their technology. They face economic constriction through the embargo, which
inhibits them from trading with other countries, cutting off the availability to
necessary resources like current medical supplies. The U.S has continued to bully
Cuba with the embargo. Even after 50 years, the United States has taken limited
action to end the embargo and has attempted to keep Cuba under foot. As their own
sovereign state, they have the obligation to make their own decisions as a country
rather than live under the blanket control of a nation living with a 50 year old temper
tantrum demanding nothing but democratization.
Analysis and Evaluation
In the first major article utilized for research, Relaxation of Cuban Embargo Urged in
Congress , the main claim is that congressional action taken to limit the effects of the
embargo and possibly eliminate it entirely would only strengthen the grip that Fidel
Castro, the former dictator of Cuba has on his country. The article talks about
congressional action being taken in the United States congress, or the lack of action
that is being taken, and the effect that it has on Cuban humanitarian conditions. The
tie into the medical field is quite broad but the focus it brings on the Cuban embargo
reveals significant problems. The lack of medical supplies and equipment in the
country due to the embargo is said to be deliberate. ...shortages of
The Internal and External Conflicts of Willy Loman Essay
Individuals explore their responses to conditions of internal and external conflicts
throughout literature. Going in depth to a character allows the reader to better
understand that character s internal and external conflicts. Arthur Miller uses this
technique in several of his plays, including Death of a Salesman. Miller portrays the
character of Willy Loman in Death of a Salesmanthrough his internal and external
conflicts. The internal conflictbegins with Willy s expectations for his sons and The
Woman. Willy struggles throughout the play with having extremely high
expectations for his sons, Happy and Biff. Happy and Willy get along well because
they are most alike of the two sons. Happy has the same materialistic mindset as...

The reader can see this when The Woman says, I ll put you right through to the
buyers, (Miller 39). Thus, Willy has multiple expectations for his sons and The
Woman. The internal conflict continues with Willy s dreams. The beginning of the
play tells us that it is about dreams (Eisinger 2). Willy dreams of the American
dream and family dreams. Willy characterizes the American dream as success, which
creates conflict within himself. Willy longs for the dream so much that he focuses
solely on achieving this goal that he loses desire for anything less. Willy interprets
his desire for success when he defines Dave Singleton:
And he was eighty four years old and he d drummed merchandise in thirty one
states. And old Dave he d go up to his room, y understand, put on his green velvet
slippers I ll never forget and pick up his phone and call the buyers, and without ever
leaving his room at the age of eighty four, he made his living. And when I saw that, I
realized that selling was the greatest career a man could want. (Miller 81)
Dave Singleton is a model for Willy because he shows that a salesman can be
remembered, loved, and helped in many different places in the country (Eisinger 4).
The success of Dave is the American dream that Willy desires. The American dream
of having everything one wants.
Because Willy wants this corrupt dream so much, he longs for his family to have the
same dream. Happy does however,
Levels Of Acid-Buffer Titration
INTRODUCTION
For this experiment, a weak acid buffer titration will be performed. While acids
produce hydronium ions in water, bases produce hydroxide ions. To determine how
strong an acid or base is, levels of dissociation are observed. While a strong acid or
base entirely dissociates in solution, a weak acid or base only partially dissociates in
solution. The extent to which a weak acid dissociates in an aqueous solution can be
denoted by the constant, Ka, which stands for the ratio in products to reactant. The
following equation is used to describe the mentioned ratio in an acid dissociation:
Ka= (гЂ–[HгЂ—_3 O^+][A^ ])/([HA])
Acids with larger Ka values dissociate to a greater extent, while those with smaller
values dissociate to an inferior extent. To illustrate the dissociation of water
molecules, the constant, Kw, is used instead. In case of a pure water sample, only a
small amount molecules will form hydronium and hydroxide ions. The formula for
the autoionization of water, the process mentioned, can be denoted in the following
equilibrium equation:
Kw= [H3O+][OH ] in which the value of Kw is equal to 1x10 14, where both H3O+
and OH are equal to 1x10 7 M. In addition, to measure how acidic or basic a solution
is, the pH scale is used. An acidic solution has a value that is lower than 7, and has a
higher concentration of hydronium ions, meaning a concentration that is higher than
1.0x10 7. A basic solution has value that is greater than 7, and has a lower
concentration

Understanding the Financial Market and Globalization in India
Abstract
The research paper is a brief study that explains the different factors that play a key
role in growth international financial market in India. We also took a brief look at
what the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and their role in the growth of India s economy.
The study does not talk about the risks of investing in India at this time nor does it
point out the benefits. The purpose of this paper is to show the growth of India s
economy after their government made some drastic reform changes. Changes that
needed to be made after the country had persistent problems, such as a lack of
financial inclusion, a glacial pace of innovation, the growth of an unregulated shadow
financial system, numerous Ponzi schemes and high inflation.
Introduction
The development of a county s economy is largely influence by their financial market
and their ability to trade with other countries. In the recent past India s rapidly
growing domestic market has made them an attractive country for investors to invest.
Although India is still considered an emerging country a term which is commonly
used to refer to countries that do not enjoy the same level of economic security,
industrialization and growth as developed countries. The

Once upon a time there lived a creature that had been sighted to be a scaly monster;
he lived in the land called Shadow Mist. The land was grey, it was so grey it looked
like there was gravel everywhere. I can t even begin to tell you how awful the trees
looked; they looked so brown like they were all painted in mud.
The creature always slept but, even though the people knew this they never
ventured to the land. There was a lizard called Humble, he was a dark green lizard
with scales all over him. He always loved to help out the town s people. The town s
people would always describe him as their rock (tough guy). This town was a

something horrific was about to happen. The town sounded like a slithering simple

which made you want to taste them. Humble s life couldn t be more perfect until...
The next day... petrifying screams were heard all throughout Cookie Town. Not a

Advantage And Disadvantage Of Water Bladders
The advantage of using the hydration bladder
Carrying water along with us can be a little tricky in conditions where lightness
matters because we have struggled to find the right balance between a light
alternative for water bottles and a medium to keep it durable enough to take a beating
in the tough conditions outside. This is what helped in developing the ultimate light
and durable outdoor kit for carrying water easily.
The development aided the creation of the first ever hydration water bladder which
is one of the best ways through which one can easily carry a good amount of water
while on the go. This bladder consists of a tough exterior which is designed to take a

purpose is one, durability. The hydration bladder has been extensively tested in very
tough environments before it was put up for sale in the first place. This altogether
has helped the product in achieving success with the customers because they can
always rely on this product easily.
The water bladder employs a very tough construction both inside and out in the
name of durability and insulation so the user can add either hot or cold water in it
and it will still remain the same without any regard to the exterior condition. This
extensive layering process has also helped the product attain a good amount of
strength to prevent any kind of leaks from inside.
This is advantageous to the users since they don t need to worry about leaks at all, it

Analysis Of Jeanne D Arc
A teen peasant guided by God, France under attack, and only a silver ring to track
back into history. In Medieval times, there were many aspiring stories of defying the
meaning of a damsel. The defined term of a damsel was a young, unmarried woman,
although, embedded in our minds are women who needs help. Joan of Arcdidn t

armor saved her. She saved the French army from losing to Britain in the Hundred
Years War.
In 1412, Jeanne d Arc was born on a small farm in France. During this time period,
there was a bloody war going on, which is also known as the Hundred Years War. A
conflict between England and France over the right to own land, disputes of the
next French throne, and economic conflicts. Less than fifty years before was the
Black plague which killed more than half of the country s population. Joan s father
was a farmer who practiced disciplinary while her mother was a home worker and
emphasized church ethics. Growing up, she was trained to tend animals and spin
wool. Joan wasn t taught to read or write, but she attended many village festivals
and was obedient to her parents. Women during this times was considered the

Monsanto Glyphosate Resistant Soybean (40-3-2
Monsanto producer created a glyphosate resistant soybean crop called GTS 40 3 2,
commonly known as Roundup Ready soybeans. The crop is produced by inserting a
CP4 5 enolpyruvylshikimate 3 phosphate ( CP4 EPSPS) gene from Agrobacterium
tumefaciens, a common soil bacteria. CP4 EPSPS facilitates the soybeans
survivability by allowing the crop to become resistant to extreme temperatures,
ensuring higher survival rates and successful harvests. Initially, Monsanto used
electroporation to achieve maximum cell viability and transient gene expression,
however, the high voltage required for the electroporation technique (400 V) caused
instability in cell wall synthesis and cell division. Monsanto were then able to inject
the CP4 EPSPS gene into the cell wall of soybeans by using particle bombardment to
penetrate through the cell wall with minimal damage and produced stable progeny
that expressed resistance to glyphosate.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This particular promoter is vital for the survival and success of the soybean, which
is why it considered to be a dependable promoter not only for soybeans, but for other

(GUS) as a selectable marker, to be the vehicle to transport the promoter and insert
the CP4 EPSPS through transcriptional replacement (Jefferson, 1987). The GUS
gene served as evidence of transformation; the GUS enzyme converts 5 bromo 4
chloro 3 indolyl ОІ D glucuronide into a blue precipitate (Agricultural Group of
Monsanto Company, 1993). Soybeans that were not transgenic would not produce
this blue color when exposed to the aforementioned substrate, indicating that
transformation did not take

There are concerns about the death rate in Zimbabwe. The infant mortality rate is
very high and the death rate is generally high compared to other developing nations
within the African continent. There are serious issues about the high death rate in the
country. This has a lot to do with the actualization of individual rights to health and
medical attention by their government. The concern also extends to the safety of the
medical environment and facilities such as hospitals and research and treatment
centers. Indeed, there is a major problem concerning the availability of resources to
achieve all these as well as the intention to do so as well (Ndlovu, 2011). It is critical
that at all times, there be a situation of guaranteed standards in such institutions. The
health of the community is indeed affected by the policy decisions made by the
government. While it may be difficult to completely rule out external factors that lead
to such issues in death rates and infant mortality rates; the government ought to make
steps to end such a trend.
Location and Geography of Zimbabwe Zimbabwe is located on the Southern part of
Africa; landlocked between Zambia, South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique. The
country is approximately 150,871 square miles and ranks among the largest countries
in the world as number sixty out of the one hundred and ninety six globally
recognized countries. It is thus a fairly large country but quite average in size among
African nations. The country

national. Frequently, large tracts of public and federal land are bought and developed
by industry. Pristine wilderness turned to bustling epicenters of human activity, all in

Oscula Study of a Sponge Essay
All the sponge parameters measured in our study in between the two discrete
depth zones revealed a clear statistical difference and consistently higher values for
the shallow location except from the sponge surface area (Median shallow, deep =
85, 152 cm2, respectively) and oscular number per sponge area (Median
shallow, deep = 0.04, 024 cm2 respectively). Similar to our study of turbidity in the
previous section the parameters given above for the deeper zone was higher for the
sponges with lesser pumping rates, but this difference observed to be eminent for the
depth comparison (Table 4). The comparative study of shallow and deep locations at
the two pristine sites of southern side of Bodrum Peninsula showed that there is a

The most efficient sponge patch at the deep site processed 0.166 cm3 cm 2 s 1
amount of seawater with 23 oscula collectively pumping. These numbers clearly
show that C. reniformis specimens possessing few numbered large sized osculas,
pump more efficiently than sponges with many small sized oscula. This raises a
question in mind; is it better to have single enormous sized oscule or many smaller
sized osculas? Our analysis marks out a discrete large sized oscule provides a clear
advantage on pumping efficiency to the sponges living in the wave zone, but in the
meantime at a cost of maintaining a smaller sized body and perhaps less growth. The
sponge specimens living in the deeper zones compensates this disadvantage by
spreading through a larger surface and forming many oscular openings.
The shallow pristine site, Meteor Bay is generally protected from wave action, but
there are regular storm events throughout the year. Absence of oceanic water
currents leaves wave action as the major source of mixing and water movement. A
possible advantage for C. reniformis specimens to acquire larger sized oscules
might be described with the need of catching desired food particles in a water
movement zone affected by wave action. Continuous oscillation of particles in a
wave action could make it harder to catch desired particles for a
Persuasive Essay On Gifted Education
There are many debates going around about gifted education. Should we fund it?
Should we not? Should we support it, or shouldn t we? Many articles that I ve read
are on both sides. Everyone has their own opinion to whether or not we should
support it. But in my opinion I think we should support both sides of the education
system, the low achieving and the higher achieving students. Gifted educationclasses
can help students challenge themselves and their peers around them. In article one,
America s Future Depends on Gifted Students, they believe that we should support
gifted education programs. I highly agree with the statement, Insisting that gifted

I believe that segregation and gifted education are complete polar opposites and
should not be compared at all. Although, it states that there is an abundance of case
study evidence across geography, grade level and demography demonstrating that
low achieving students perform better and high achieving students perform no
worse when all students are exposed to a high level curriculum. High achieving
students perform no worse because they are still not being challenged by higher
curriculum like the low achieving students. If they were placed in a higher, separate
class than low achieving students, they would be able to be challenged in ways that
they never have been before. In article three, Tracking Students By Ability Produces
Results, they discovered that high ability students benefit the most from high ability
peers. Also, an experiment in Kenya proved that grouping students into classrooms
based on prior achievement benefits all students. I do believe that placing students
in classrooms with peers of similar ability is all around better. It is better because
they can all challenge each other and they are all exposed to a much higher education
than students with lower achieving capabilities. I believe if students know that they
are gifted they will try and not pursue and challenge themselves. On the other hand,
students who are chosen by lottery into gifted education programs will challenge
themselves to be like their other higher

categories: Midrash (literally, seeking of meaning) and Mishnah (list of rabbinic

was revealed by Godto Moses at Mount Sinai. Moses had stated that Lord had gave
him two tablets of stones , which was written by God. The key aspect that was

The Food Of Biscuits And Imports Of Various Biscuits...
There are a few large local manufacturers of different biscuits and imports of
various biscuit brands in Fiji. Punjas and Flour Mills of Fiji (FMF) Foods Limited
are a few local manufactures of different types of biscuits produced in Fiji for local
and international consumption (FMF Foods Limited, 2016). Biscuitproducts that are
being sold in Fiji market are well differentiated through different packagings and
manufacturer brand names (Punjas, n.d.). Consumers in Fiji do not show loyalty
towards any particular products, this is because Fiji has low GDP and income per
capita. Therefore consumers buying is totally dependent on the price of the product
(Schultz, 2009). In late 2004, Fiji Government accepted a competition policy based
on the principle of promoting contestability by eliminating entry and exit barriers,
market agents must be free to enter and exit the market (Dakunimata, n.d.). This
approach gives a sound basis for promoting better competition and thus
entrepreneurship in Fiji ( Strategic development plan 2007 2011, n.d.). There is a
range of biscuit products that are manufactured in Fiji and imported internationally
that can act as a substitute for Griffin s biscuits (Motibhai Fiji, n.d.). As discussed
earlier, there are a few large suppliers (manufacturers) of biscuit in Fiji, the biscuit
products are distinguishable, there are few substitutes available for biscuits, therefore
biscuit suppliers have some bargaining power in the market ( Porter s model of

Components in the Formation of Different Medicines

Chemistry has affected people for years. It will always be a major component in how
life progresses. We use chemistry every day when we cook. We use it every day when
simply brushing our teeth. Toothpaste contains Fluorine. It is a very intense
aggressive and reactive element. It is the substance in toothpaste that whitens our
teeth. As you can see there are many things that chemistry contributes to. Chemistry
is a big component of the formation of different medicines. Without chemistry
medicines I have had to take would not even exist. I recently had to take medicine

that takes over many people when they become overwhelmed with tasks or issues in
their lives. Without chemistry I would have not been able to have the medicine that I
needed.
There are many other ways to cope with anxiety than medicine. However some
people don t have the time so medicine can be a really amazing thing. Some people
including my brothers went to therapists. Some do yoga, breathing methods, and
just talking to people. Anxiety can get out of hand quickly. When It gets out of
hand it can become a very dangerous cycle. Although Lorazepam can be very
helpful, it can also harm people. Just like every other medicine it has many
possible side effects. It can cause depression, hypotension, shortness in breath,
dizziness, and weakness. It can also cause severe respiratory failure. If you take it
when you are pregnant it can kill the baby and cause issues when it comes to breast
feeding. It has many issues however it is usually not fatal when people overdose.
Ativan can be a highly aggressive and addictive drug. It is recommended to only
take only for two to four weeks. The medicine stays in your system for eighteen to
thirty six hours. Withdrawals from the medicine can cause seizures, insomnia and
more intense anxiety. It can be injected, ingested in pill form, or worn in form of skin

Requirements Of Requirements And Requirements
Question 1: When writing a requirements document, it is important to understand
what it is that you re writing. Requirements documents must be hierarchical, and also
must be consistent. Consistency is important, because one must be able to follow for
whom he is defining requirements. System requirements vary significantly from
stakeholder requirements. As the requirements are written, it is also important to
maintain order along with consistency. If requirements are not ordered very
specifically, it will be easy to lose place of which requirements have already been
defined. When writing requirements statements and sets of requirements statements,
one must maintain uniqueness among each set. Consistency is not enough to
disallow requirements from becoming redundant. One may remain consistent with the
hierarchy of the requirements statements, however it is important to maintain
uniqueness. The concept of hierarchy allows for a level of inheritance to be
developed. If a systems engineer finds that he or she is writing redundant
requirements, it is important that the SE evaluates the levels of inheritance.
Repeating requirements can be detrimental in a requirements document for multiple
reasons. These requirements take up time and space for one. This document can be
lengthy, but it must be easy to follow and as concise as possible while being
thorough. Also, the level of redundancy in a document predetermines the difficulty of
understanding by its reader. As an extension to
Developing And Managing Offerings Organizations Essay
Developing and managing offerings organizations is among the list of high risk
any organization can make. These are decisions that can lead to bankruptcy if it
fails nonetheless firms needs to continuously seek for ways to meet those needs if
they must stay in business. Sure, in your area you have seen some businesses shut
their doors after just a few periods of existence. Some firms like Adidas, Samsung,
and Nike have more than one product while others have just one. What is certain in
this relationship is that the development process follows seven steps principles, but
may differ based on the business make up and the organization. The first step of this
process is ideadevelopment. Idea Generation.
Conception phase or idea generation make up part of the job description of the
management team of a company. If they stop having visions the organization will die
a natural death. In this stage, a manuscript of proposed products from product
designers, customers, suppliers and even employees are handed out to decision
makers. This manuscript should have all the details about just everything, including
the revenue generating prowess of the different products, which after looking and
financial capacity of the company to invest in the new ideas and the advantages this
new venture to the company are scrutinized and narrow down to a short list of one or
more products. Not that some of the ideas here, though unethical can be from

Logistics in Disneyland
I have chosen to take a look at the organization in the theme park Disneyland Paris.
The question I asked myself is What do you need to get a successful theme park like
Disney World? the main answer to that question is in my opinion with the following
things:
Attractions
Restaurants
Souvenirs shop(s)
Restrooms
Signs
Off course there are some other factors, like management etc., that you need in order
to lead a successful theme park. But some of those are not really relevant to logistics.
That is why I chose to concentrate on the above list of things.
The attractions:

concerning logistics that immediately pops into my mind is:

The restaurants:
After the thrill from those roller coasters and other attractions you would probably
like something to eat. That is why restaurants are also very important in a theme
park. But unlike those attractions food is perishable that means that as the owner
of a theme park you cannot store food for one year and use that during that year,
you need a constant supply in order to serve fresh food. Food needs to be carried to
the theme park in special trucks, because some products cannot handle some
circumstances they are in if they would be in a normal truck. This all means that the
food should also be stored only a short time and has to be handled quickly. The
different products that are needed in a theme park restaurant are collected and
immediately carried to the theme park.
The souvenir shops:
You had such a nice day full of excitement and fun, which you really want to
remember later. So you want to have a souvenir from the park. But to get all those
souvenirs into the souvenir shop, you need logistics. The different products in the
souvenir shop are not made in France. Most of them are probably made in China,
where the goods are stored until they need to be flown out to France. When they get
to France they are transported to Disneyland by truck.
The restrooms:
Off course if you walk in a theme park sooner or later you will need to go to the rest

The Search For God, Ancient Egypt, By Jan Assmann
Jan Assmann, the famous Egyptologist, covers the essence of researching Egyptian
theology in his classic work Theologie und Frömmigkeit einer frühen Hochkultur.
Translated to English under the title The search for God in Ancient Egypt , the
book tackles the complex goal of investigating Egyptian Theology and offers
Assman s scholarly theories on Egyptology. With that said, the focus of the book
shifts away from the study of Egyptian deities and mythology but centers rather
around the implication of divinity at a societal and individual level. Overviews of
theology and piety take precedence over the specific practices and technical beliefs
of Egyptian religion, though the latter is also heavily discussed to better elaborate on
the former s context.
The first chapter Religion: Divine Presence and Transcendence establishes the topic
of this book, summarizing the theme of divine presence and the concept of a single
god and multiple gods (essentially monotheism vs polytheism). Divided into 2 main
parts, the first, aptly named The Dimensions of Divine Presence: The Implicit
Theology of Egyptian Polytheism , mainly revolves around implicit theology and
what Assmann considers to the be the three dimensions of Egyptian religion: the local
and cultic dimension, the dimension of cosmos (The visible elements), and the
mythic dimension. These three aspects form the implicit theory, activities or notions
that are associated with divine beings, and serves to realize in religion the

stays true to the text s tone. Money is something many people want greatly, it s also
an object that can cause clouded judgement, and lead to many different arguments.

The stress the button put on her changed her for the worse. The ending in the film
only has one similarity, Norma pushes the button. But, what truly makes the ending
interesting is how the camera focuses on Mr. Stewart. It is zoomed in on him and the
lighting makes everything seem very ominous (Twilight Zone 1985). The lighting
gives off an eerie effect onto Mr. Stewart. It creates and unsettling feelingbeing the
character and the viewers. The use of italics and words like shrieking in the story
emphasizes the same unsettling feeling. The music mixed with the things Mr.
Stewart says alludes to the chance of Norma or Arthur dying. It explores the idea
that if Norma would press the button to kill someone she didn t know then what
could stop someone she doesn t know from doing the same and killing her or Arthur.
The ending in both the film and text build a lot tension between the audience and
characters; with all that just happened looming over their heads they can only be
scared for what could happen next and could make them even more

The Odyssey, By Homer, And The Inferno
Ulysses in Hell The two epics The Odyssey, by Homer, and The Inferno, by Dante,
both works have two different perspectives of the character Ulysses. The Odyssey
is told from the ancient Greek perspective around 700BC, and The Inferno is told
from a Christian point of view in 1300AD. Both epics are written nearly 2000
years apart from each other. What set apart the ideals of both epics are the Pagan
warrior perspective in Homer s epic and the Christian Europe perspective in Dante s
epic. The controversial topic is what makes Ulysses a hero in The Odysseyand what
makes him one of the world s greatest sinners in The Inferno? In The Odyssey,
Odysseusor Ulysses, is considered a hero. Odysseus portrays all the qualities of a
hero in this epic. He portrays courage, wisdom, and endurance throughout the
work, which makes up the qualities of a Pagan warrior s idea of a hero. Zeus says
Great Odysseus who excels all men in wisdom, excels in offerings too he gives the
immortal gods who rule the vaulting skies? (Ody. 1.78 80). When speaking about
Odysseus, he describes him as wise. Odysseus uses wisdom in the various obstacles
he crosses on his journey home. Wisdom is all about knowing who you truly are and
where you are going. This means denying temptation and not forgetting where you
are going. On his journey home, he must turn down, possibly one of the greatest
temptations, which is immortality. In hopes of keeping Odysseus with her, and not

form of Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureas. I used books, websites, and

penicillin, Staphylococcus aureas, and Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureas, I
found that both the drug and the bacteria use enzymes as their defense and attack
mechanism. Penicillin uses a Гџ lactam ring as a substrate to clog the active site of

categories: gram positive and gram negative. Staphylococcus aureas is a common
example of a gram positive bacteria. Gram positive bacteria is made up of polymer
layers of peptidoglycan connected by amino acid bridges. Peptidoglycan is a
polymer made of Nacetylglucosamine and N acetyl muraminic acid, or for the
purpose of convenience,
NAG and NAMA. [6] These layers of polymers are cross linked with amino acids
as shown in the diagram below. The polymers are connected and layered by an
enzyme known as transpeptidase. The enzyme is responsible for catalyzing the
reaction that cross links the cell wall to make it strong.[1] Making the cell wall is
easily one of the most basic and essential processes that takes place.
[6]
Penicillin and Methicillin, two antibiotics used to treat Staphylococcus aureas, are
known as Гџ lactam antibiotics. They prevent the bacteria from forming a cell
wall.[1] The
NAM of the peptidoglycan leaves residue of D alanyl D alanine which bind to the
transpeptidase in order to cross link the chain. Гџ lactam antibiotics
Chronic Bronchitis Research Paper
Bronchitis is a swelling in the bronchial tubes. It blocks the airway between the nose
and the mouth and the lung. People who have bronchitis have massive trouble
breathing and the lungs become inflamed. Thier lungs get filled with mucus and
phlegm.
Bronchitis can be acute or chronic. Acute bronchitis means it doesn t last long and it
s followed a cold or viral infection it consists of discomfort in the chest, shortness of
breath, soreness and fever.
Chronic bronchitis is much more serious. Chronic bronchitis can last up to two years.
Chronic bronchitis symptoms can get better or worse. bronchitis can sometimes be
self healing. Medications include nonsteroids anti inflammatory drugs, analgesic

It can become Chronic bronchitis due to constant irritation to the lungs.
Symptoms of Chronic Bronchitis include wheezing, low fever, and chills, blocked
nose, and sinuses body aches, headaches, sore throat, chest tightness, and
breathlessness.
Symptoms of acute bronchitis is a cough that can last for seven weeks but if the
bronchial tubes heal slowly it can last for seven months. However, if the coughing
doesn t go away it could be signs of another illness such as asthma or pneumonia.
Bronchitis is spread many different ways. it is airborne, so coughing and sneezing
can spread it. Another way is by touching doorknobs and light switches. Also the
skin on skin contacts such as handshakes or hugs. Also by saliva like kissing or
drinking from the same cup. since bronchitis can often be mistaken as a cold the
way to test it is with x rays and breathing test of the lungs. you can also tell different
if you are coughing up white green or yellow mucus and also if you start coughing up
blood.

Genetically Modified Organisms
Imagine living on a farm. It is cold most of the year, but for a few months you are
able to grow some corn to feed your family, and occasionally if you are lucky you
can sell it in town to make some money. It is hard work for what seems like a little
reward. You must often deal with insects eating many of the corn stalks, and your
corn doesn t do well in cold temperatures, so you must harvest it before the cold
weather starts again. You have to plow much of your field to plant this corn, and it
takes much effort to look after it. Then a man gives you some seeds. He calls it
genetically modified corn. You plant it and the next year and the year after that there
is no need to worry about pest, because the pesticides you used no longer... Show

This would lower prices and scarcity of food has decreased. Allowing more people to
afford the food and there would also be enough food to satisfy the demand, which
would also decrease prices. This article also lets the reader know of the possibilities
that GMOs can be used to prevent diseases by being infused with vaccines. They
also may be able to remove the genes that trigger people s allergies.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations also educates those
who inquire about the potential disadvantages of GMOs. For instance there is no
conclusive evidence one way or another if Modifying an organism can destabilize
it. The long term effect of genetic modification could cause potential mutations that
harm the plant and could in turn possibly harm the animal that consumes it.
Genetically modified organisms could also breed with native species and create a
lack of biological diversity on the planet because they would be damaging. This
would happen because GMOs are hardy plants that take over native species. This
invasive species could produce more food, but it has the potential to be detrimental
to the environment as well. The invasive species would be a problem if something
were to happen to the GMO that would make it inedible or kill it and get rid of a
large portion of our food supply. Another potential harm that can come from
genetically modified organisms is the possibility that an organism can be genetically
modified to resist an antibiotic may
The Life And Accomplishments Of Frederick Douglass
When speaking of how African Americans evolved from being slaves to becoming
free, one must not fail to mention the life and accomplishments of Frederick
Douglass. The actions taken by Frederick Douglas and others that pave the way
were perceived as huge achievements then and now. Negros, as they were called in
the 17th and 18th century where considered nothing more than slaves. Being a slave
did not grant human rights to anything at any time or any place. But Frederick
Douglass had different plans other than only being a slave. Overcoming slavery
would become a life long journey with the thoughts of becoming a free man the
only possible option. Frederick Douglass was born in slavery as Frederick
Augustus Washington Bailey in Talbot County, Maryland. By only knowing his
mother s name and not knowing his date of birth or who his father was, this was
normal for many Negros. This hurdle was only a few of many challenges that were
not only faced by Frederick Douglas but also by many other slave s at this time.
Growing up, Frederick Douglass was a very mild mannered child. He was originally a
house Negro who learned very quickly what roles slaves played in their society.
Slaves were not privileged to anything, they were not privileged to learn to read,
write or know their history, which crippled slaves into centuries of oppression. But
early in his life, Frederick Douglass knew this was not going to be his way of living.
When Douglass was a very young child he lived with his
Religion In August Religion
Everyone views religion in their own unique way. Everyone s own unique
upbringing and perspective on life help shape their views on religion, and if it s
important. In William Faulkner s novel Light in August, the people in the fictional
town of Jefferson Mississippi strictly uphold religion and use it to create their social
standard. The citizens of Jefferson Mississippidisplay the stereotypical southern
charm, and the various Christian symbols in the novelsymbolize how much faith is a
part of the life in Jefferson. This feeling of openness and comfort in Jefferson turns
superficial when the citizens are forced to appeal to the conventional societal
standards. The irony of the situation is the conventional societal standards are
contradictory... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are many righteous people in religion and a few good hearted people in the
novel, but the hypocrisy in religion is exposed in the chaos and cruelty that the
citizens of Jefferson bring upon individuals like Christmas. The harsh and unfair
treatment of Christmas corrupts Christmas and limits people in Jefferson from
seeing Christmas intended divinity. The values professed by the religious people of
Jefferson, Mississippi do not align with their actions that abandon and separate others
in society. The hypocrisy demonstrated by the southern citizens of Jefferson show
that the religious standards and expectations that are set are impossible to achieve.
The hefty goals, aspirations, and standards that people thought humans could
achieve in the romantic era are not able to be achieved today. If humanity can no
longer meet religion s standards or recognize a person who represents their savior,
what role does religion have in modern life

a bracket appears on the spirogram to indicate where that measurement originates on
the spirogram and (2) the value in milliliters appears in the data table. Also note that
when the FEV1 measure button is selected, the final column labeled FEV1/FVC
will be automatically calculated and appear in the data table. The calculation is
(FEV1/FVC) _ 100%, and the result will appear as a percentage in the data table.
What do you think is the clinical importance of the FVC and FEV1 values?
Why do you think the ratio of these two values is important to the clinician when

Emphysema Breathing
In a person with emphysema, there is a significant loss of intrinsic elastic recoil in
the lung tissue. This loss of elastic recoil occurs as the disease destroys the walls of
the alveoli. Airway resistance is also increased as the lung tissue in general becomes
more flimsy and exerts less mechanical tethering on the surrounding airways. Thus
the lung becomes overly compliant and expands easily. Conversely, a great effort is
required to exhale as the lungs can no longer passively recoil and deflate. Anoticeable
and exhausting muscular effort is required for each exhalation. Thus a person with
emphysema exhales slowly.
1. Using this information, predict what lung values will change in the spirogram

Management Plan for Caracal

Caracal is an alternative rock band based in Singapore which has been around
since 2006. The band consists of five members, KC Meals on vocals, Henry Louis
Velge on the bass guitar, Gabriel De Souza on the lead guitar, Field Teo on the
rhythm guitar and Martin Kong on drums. Since their debut into the local scene in
2006, Caracal has gained fame among the locals in Singapore and is considered as
one of the few bands to succeed alongside The Great Spy Experiment. Currently,
Caracal has signed a contract with Straits Records their type of label is still indie ,
which is a local ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, making sure that media attention on the band is closely monitored while
sending press releases to the media informing about upcoming performances and
public appearances. Lastly, the manager has to acquire the help of a publicist or if
not needed, publicise the band as it adds value to the band by setting up CD sales,
getting more bookings for shows and interviews. Opportunities for Caracal is that
being based in Singapore, the market is small and is easier to break into the music
scene and be one of the famous bands around. On the other hand, the limitation of
being in Singapore is that the music scene is not as recognized and huge such as
companies in the United States of America where talent scouts are everywhere
looking for new talent every other day for their record labels. Therefore, an action
plan must be set for the goals, aims and objectives of both the band and the
manager must be put into place. Firstly, with the band flying off overseas for the
Canadian Music Festival in Toronto, press releases must be printed and sent out to
the media involved in the music festival. Not stopping there, more press releases and
also portable info packs should be printed out so that when attending artists
networking conferences in Canada, the United States of America or in fact anywhere
around the world, the manager is able to promote their band to A list record labels or
scouts. Networking is an
Underage Drinking
Underage drinking is becoming more of a noticeable problem in society, not only
with high school students, but also with younger generations. Drinking is all over the
television, the radio, and talked about in schools, public places, etc. Alcohol
advertisements are more and more appealing to younger generations. If our youth is
educated at a younger age, if schoolpolicies were stricter, and if clubs and bars
cracked down on underage drinking the problem would not be as serious. Youth
should be well educated about consumption of alcohol well before middle school. By
the time students reach middle school they are already exposed to alcohol. D.A.R.E,
the program that teaches children about alcohol and its effects, should be taught in...

15. This just shows that bartenders are not carding. Their reasons may differ, but it
seems as though females are easily passed off as legal drinking age regardless of
what their I.D. says. From my three years of personal experience in the club
industry I realized many young females received drinks from the bartenders
despite their age. Walking into clubs females usually don t even get carded as long
as they are good looking they get the wristband. Clubs and bars should have
females at the front greeting because that would eliminate underage drinking. Also,
I.D scanners would help because there would no way of getting in with a fake I.D.
If clubs and bars were stricter and had better tools to prevent underage drinking this
problem would decrease rapidly. In conclusion, underage drinking affects should be
taught at a younger age before the kids are exposed. Not only should they be
educated earlier but the schools policies should be stricter as well as college policies.
If schools became stricter along with clubs and bars the future of our youth would
improve. These steps must be taken or our younger generations will start to spiral

  • 2. Successes And Failures Of American Policy Towards The GCC... Topic: U.S Arab relations: Assessing the successes and failures of American policy towards the GCC since 2008. For the United States, the Gulf region remains one of the most geo strategically important locations in the world for diplomatic, intelligence cooperation, and business opportunities such as hydrocarbons and arms. This strategic cooperation has provided the region some stability, particularly with the rise of Iran and the Shi a crescent and the chaotic outcome of the war in Iraq. The council members have also relied on the United State to fend off some of the domestic challenges to the existing regimes that are both internally and regionally rooted. The Gulf houses half of the world s oil reserves and a third of the natural gas. The Gulf States still continue to supply the international markets with a significant amount of the hydrocarbons. The stability of the region is crucial for the stability in the global oil markets. The Gulf also hosts one of the most strategically and important choke points in global trade, The Straits of Hormuz, which moves about 35% of the global seaborne oil, natural gas and other trade goods. According to Taimur Khan from the National World who wrote about a report that was published by the United States State Department they praised the GCC countries for their strong regional and international counterterrorism cooperation. The findings were that the UAE had the greatest progress in cutting off illegals flows of money to
  • 3. Mere Christianity Sparknotes Mere Christianity Summary Mere Christianity was written by C.S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis). C.S. Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland on November 29, 1898. He was arguably one of the intellectual giants and influential writers of the twentieth century. Until nineteen fifty four he was a Fellow and Tutor in English Literature at Oxford University. After that he was unanimously elected to the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University, a position he held until his retirement. Clive wrote more than thirty books, allowing him to reach vast audiences, and his books still attract readers more every year. C.S. Lewis mother Florence Augusta passed away in August 23, 1908. In April 1918 Clive meets his lifelong friend Arthur Greeves. In September 24, 1929 Cliver s father, Albert Lewis, died in Belfast. On October 11, 1920 Lewis, the Moores, and later Warren, Lewis s brother, move into The Kilns . Cliver converts to Christianityin September 1931. Cliver attended the first meeting of Oxford University s Socratic Club on January 26, 1942. On April 23, 1956 he married Joy Davidman Gresham. Joy is an American woman who was divorced and had a son. She married Cliver because of his insurance. She didn t have any insurance and she was battling cancer, so he married her to take care of her and her son. When Joy passed away Cliver continued to take care of his step son. In June 1961 he was diagnosed with kidney inflammation. A little later after he was diagnosed he soon passed away in November 22, 1963. The Law or Rules about Right or Wrong used to be called the Law of Nature. Laws of Nature are to be distinguished both from Scientific Laws and from Natural Laws. When we talk of the laws of nature we usually mean things like gravitation, or heredity, or the laws of chemistry. When they came up with the Law of Right and Wrong the Law of Nature , they really meant the Law of Human Nature. The moral law is God s fatherly instruction, showing the rules that lead to heaven and the evils which lead away from God. The Moral Law tells us the tune we have to play: our instincts are merely the keys. There is nothing indulgent about the Moral Law. As a Christian you do not have to believe all the other
  • 4. The Chimney Sweeper by William Blake Essay In the Chimney Sweeper, William Blake portrays the lack of innocence in these young boys lives since they are expected to have attained the experience to preform such unjust actions. The speaker of the poem begins it by letting us know that after his mother passed away his father gave him up to be a chimneysweeper so he could obtain money. These two figures, his mother and father are whom kids are supposed to depend on and look up for guidance. He feels abandoned because his mother is gone and his father gave him up for money, this show just how poor his family was and how his father would do anything for a chance at a better living, whether it included his son or not. The speaker also says that he became a sweeper when he had hardly... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The dream continues on by say that an angel came by and set them free, which means that all of the chimneysweepers were free from work and they did not have to put up with the terrible conditions of the job anymore. The other part of Toms dream included that boys going to wash in the river and shine in the sun meaning they could free them from the soot and actually see their clean skin not covered in black. This gave Tom a sense of what freedom would actually feel like and what life could be when he is done working as a chimneysweeper. Them being naked and white represent the cleanliness from the soot and symbolize their youth and purity so they can act now act and preform just how kids should. Also in line seventeen it mentions their bags being left behind, their bags represent their memories of chimney sweeping and how after they are free they are supposed to leave the bad memories in the past. Next it gradually mentions that they rise upon clouds and sport in the wind this symbolizes their second chance at life now that they are free to make their own decisions, it is as if they are given a second chance to be who they want to. After this Toms dream continues with the angel telling Tom that if he d be a good boy, He d have God for his father never want joy this is dramatic irony because Tom never got the chance to prove that he was a good boy
  • 5. Public Space Research Paper The proactive exclusion of religious expression in the public space is in direct conflict with the conscious inclusion of said public expression during the first century in America. The premise of separation of church and state is the tool used by the offended to drive a wedge between the two. The religious freedoms our founders acknowledged as rights have allowed a rich mixture of diverse religions to be practiced independently of each other. However, these same freedoms have been misconstrued by an irreligious minority who use them as weapons to enforce their opinions, and chip away at the basic rights of the majority. Historically, religionand government have been tightly intertwined. Kings would often take on the role of Priests in addition to their stately duties, and governments would execute any citizen they deemed disrespectful to their chosen god. These rulings were typically made by the ruler, which led many to question the wisdom of state sponsored religion. As time passed, the first protests of this intermingling would be heard, and a time known as the age of enlightenment would soon emerge. As more and more countries adapted to the idea of drawing a line between the church and State, the diverse interpretations of the concept would vary. In Sweden, for example, religious classes are mandatory in public schools. The United Kingdom has a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In agreement with Karl Marx s Conflict Theory, an intolerant few have used a false aggrieved status as a basis from which to remove by force (through the courts) that which they never could have removed otherwise. Next we will look at the complete removal of religion from not only the public schools but society as a
  • 6. Urban Sprawl In Brazil The first thing to note regards the estimated results is the effectiveness of the measures of urban sprawl. The population density and the percentage of urban area, the two most used measures of urban sprawl, fail in capture its effect on the cost of providing public service in Brazilian municipalities; the parameters estimated, in most cases, are statistically insignificant and/or have a small value. By its turn, the CV, which shows the dispersion of the population in the urban area, is insignificant in all the estimated equations. Whereas, the gravitational index appears to be a better measure of urban sprawl for Brazilian high urban concentrations. It indicates that the sprawling movement towards the edge of the municipalities increases some items of expenditure.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A possible explanation for this might be that the model is not well specified for the spending on urban infrastructure, since the model is common to all categories of expenditure. If this is the case, some important variables, like political issues and the spending on infrastructure by other government levels, not added in the model, can influence the effects of the urban sprawl. This explanation can also be extended to others expenditure items in which the parameters of urban sprawl are not statistically

  • 8. Cuban Embargo And The Embargo Introduction The Cuban Embargo is restricting Cuba as a whole from progressing and advancing their technology. They face economic constriction through the embargo, which inhibits them from trading with other countries, cutting off the availability to necessary resources like current medical supplies. The U.S has continued to bully Cuba with the embargo. Even after 50 years, the United States has taken limited action to end the embargo and has attempted to keep Cuba under foot. As their own sovereign state, they have the obligation to make their own decisions as a country rather than live under the blanket control of a nation living with a 50 year old temper tantrum demanding nothing but democratization. Analysis and Evaluation In the first major article utilized for research, Relaxation of Cuban Embargo Urged in Congress , the main claim is that congressional action taken to limit the effects of the embargo and possibly eliminate it entirely would only strengthen the grip that Fidel Castro, the former dictator of Cuba has on his country. The article talks about congressional action being taken in the United States congress, or the lack of action that is being taken, and the effect that it has on Cuban humanitarian conditions. The tie into the medical field is quite broad but the focus it brings on the Cuban embargo reveals significant problems. The lack of medical supplies and equipment in the country due to the embargo is said to be deliberate. ...shortages of

Going in depth to a character allows the reader to better understand that character s internal and external conflicts. Arthur Miller uses this technique in several of his plays, including Death of a Salesman. Miller portrays the character of Willy Loman in Death of a Salesmanthrough his internal and external conflicts. The internal conflictbegins with Willy s expectations for his sons and The Woman. Thus, Willy has multiple expectations for his sons and The Woman. The internal conflict continues with Willy s dreams. The beginning of the play tells us that it is about dreams (Eisinger 2). Willy dreams of the American dream and family dreams. Willy characterizes the American dream as success, which creates conflict within himself. Willy longs for the dream so much that he focuses solely on achieving this goal that he loses desire for anything less. Willy interprets his desire for success when he defines Dave Singleton: And he was eighty four years old and he d drummed merchandise in thirty one states. And old Dave he d go up to his room, y understand, put on his green velvet slippers I ll never forget and pick up his phone and call the buyers, and without ever leaving his room at the age of eighty four, he made his living. And when I saw that, I realized that selling was the greatest career a man could want. (Miller 81) Dave Singleton is a model for Willy because he shows that a salesman can be remembered, loved, and helped in many different places in the country (Eisinger 4). The success of Dave is the American dream that Willy desires. The American dream of having everything one wants. Because Willy wants this corrupt dream so much, he longs for his family to have the same dream. Happy does however,
  • 10. Levels Of Acid-Buffer Titration INTRODUCTION For this experiment, a weak acid buffer titration will be performed. While acids produce hydronium ions in water, bases produce hydroxide ions. To determine how strong an acid or base is, levels of dissociation are observed. While a strong acid or base entirely dissociates in solution, a weak acid or base only partially dissociates in solution. The extent to which a weak acid dissociates in an aqueous solution can be denoted by the constant, Ka, which stands for the ratio in products to reactant. The following equation is used to describe the mentioned ratio in an acid dissociation: Ka= (гЂ–[HгЂ—_3 O^+][A^ ])/([HA]) Acids with larger Ka values dissociate to a greater extent, while those with smaller values dissociate to an inferior extent. To illustrate the dissociation of water molecules, the constant, Kw, is used instead. In case of a pure water sample, only a small amount molecules will form hydronium and hydroxide ions. The formula for the autoionization of water, the process mentioned, can be denoted in the following equilibrium equation: Kw= [H3O+][OH ] in which the value of Kw is equal to 1x10 14, where both H3O+ and OH are equal to 1x10 7 M. In addition, to measure how acidic or basic a solution is, the pH scale is used. An acidic solution has a value that is lower than 7, and has a higher concentration of hydronium ions, meaning a concentration that is higher than 1.0x10 7. A basic solution has value that is greater than 7, and has a lower concentration

The crop is produced by inserting a CP4 5 enolpyruvylshikimate 3 phosphate ( CP4 EPSPS) gene from Agrobacterium tumefaciens, a common soil bacteria. CP4 EPSPS facilitates the soybeans survivability by allowing the crop to become resistant to extreme temperatures, ensuring higher survival rates and successful harvests. Initially, Monsanto used electroporation to achieve maximum cell viability and transient gene expression, however, the high voltage required for the electroporation technique (400 V) caused instability in cell wall synthesis and cell division. Monsanto were then able to inject the CP4 EPSPS gene into the cell wall of soybeans by using particle bombardment to penetrate through the cell wall with minimal damage and produced stable progeny that expressed resistance to glyphosate.... The infant mortality rate is very high and the death rate is generally high compared to other developing nations within the African continent. There are serious issues about the high death rate in the country. This has a lot to do with the actualization of individual rights to health and medical attention by their government. The concern also extends to the safety of the medical environment and facilities such as hospitals and research and treatment centers. Indeed, there is a major problem concerning the availability of resources to achieve all these as well as the intention to do so as well (Ndlovu, 2011). It is critical that at all times, there be a situation of guaranteed standards in such institutions. The health of the community is indeed affected by the policy decisions made by the government. While it may be difficult to completely rule out external factors that lead to such issues in death rates and infant mortality rates; the government ought to make steps to end such a trend. This raises a question in mind; is it better to have single enormous sized oscule or many smaller sized osculas? Our analysis marks out a discrete large sized oscule provides a clear advantage on pumping efficiency to the sponges living in the wave zone, but in the meantime at a cost of maintaining a smaller sized body and perhaps less growth. The sponge specimens living in the deeper zones compensates this disadvantage by spreading through a larger surface and forming many oscular openings. The shallow pristine site, Meteor Bay is generally protected from wave action, but there are regular storm events throughout the year. Absence of oceanic water currents leaves wave action as the major source of mixing and water movement. A possible advantage for C. reniformis specimens to acquire larger sized oscules might be described with the need of catching desired food particles in a water movement zone affected by wave action. Continuous oscillation of particles in a wave action could make it harder to catch desired particles for a

High achieving students perform no worse because they are still not being challenged by higher curriculum like the low achieving students. Biscuitproducts that are being sold in Fiji market are well differentiated through different packagings and manufacturer brand names (Punjas, n.d.). Consumers in Fiji do not show loyalty towards any particular products, this is because Fiji has low GDP and income per capita. Requirements documents must be hierarchical, and also must be consistent. Consistency is important, because one must be able to follow for whom he is defining requirements. System requirements vary significantly from stakeholder requirements. As the requirements are written, it is also important to maintain order along with consistency. If requirements are not ordered very specifically, it will be easy to lose place of which requirements have already been defined. When writing requirements statements and sets of requirements statements, one must maintain uniqueness among each set. Consistency is not enough to disallow requirements from becoming redundant. One may remain consistent with the hierarchy of the requirements statements, however it is important to maintain uniqueness. The concept of hierarchy allows for a level of inheritance to be developed. If a systems engineer finds that he or she is writing redundant requirements, it is important that the SE evaluates the levels of inheritance. Repeating requirements can be detrimental in a requirements document for multiple reasons. These requirements take up time and space for one. This document can be lengthy, but it must be easy to follow and as concise as possible while being thorough. Also, the level of redundancy in a document predetermines the difficulty of understanding by its reader. As an extension to

The lighting gives off an eerie effect onto Mr. Stewart. It creates and unsettling feelingbeing the character and the viewers. The use of italics and words like shrieking in the story emphasizes the same unsettling feeling. The music mixed with the things Mr. Stewart says alludes to the chance of Norma or Arthur dying. It explores the idea that if Norma would press the button to kill someone she didn t know then what could stop someone she doesn t know from doing the same and killing her or Arthur. The ending in both the film and text build a lot tension between the audience and characters; with all that just happened looming over their heads they can only be scared for what could happen next and could make them even more

During the 2016 Super Bowl, Taco Bell released a successful ad for a new food item. This product is known as the Quesolupa with its key feature being a unique cheese filled shell. In the ad itself, it is first expressed that cheese put inside a taco shell is a pretty big deal, in fact it is bigger than just about everything. To express this, a series of clips follow the initial claim showing just how big of a deal it really is. By having a funny commercial that the target demographic could relate to, people will be influenced by what they saw even if they don t know it, which in the end, is a sign of persuasion being used
  • 40. The Odyssey, By Homer, And The Inferno Ulysses in Hell The two epics The Odyssey, by Homer, and The Inferno, by Dante, both works have two different perspectives of the character Ulysses. The Odyssey is told from the ancient Greek perspective around 700BC, and The Inferno is told from a Christian point of view in 1300AD. Both epics are written nearly 2000 years apart from each other. What set apart the ideals of both epics are the Pagan warrior perspective in Homer s epic and the Christian Europe perspective in Dante s epic. The controversial topic is what makes Ulysses a hero in The Odysseyand what makes him one of the world s greatest sinners in The Inferno? In The Odyssey, Odysseusor Ulysses, is considered a hero. Odysseus portrays all the qualities of a hero in this epic. He portrays courage, wisdom, and endurance throughout the work, which makes up the qualities of a Pagan warrior s idea of a hero. Zeus says Great Odysseus who excels all men in wisdom, excels in offerings too he gives the immortal gods who rule the vaulting skies? (Ody. 1.78 80). When speaking about Odysseus, he describes him as wise. Odysseus uses wisdom in the various obstacles he crosses on his journey home. Wisdom is all about knowing who you truly are and where you are going. This means denying temptation and not forgetting where you are going. On his journey home, he must turn down, possibly one of the greatest temptations, which is immortality. In hopes of keeping Odysseus with her, and not leaving to return home she says
  • 41. Staphylococcus aureas versus Methicillin Resistant... From Staphylococcus aureus to MRSA Abstract I investigated the difference between Staphylococcus aureas and its super bacteria form of Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureas. I used books, websites, and scholarly projects to understand the topic at a molecular level. After researching penicillin, Staphylococcus aureas, and Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureas, I found that both the drug and the bacteria use enzymes as their defense and attack mechanism. Penicillin uses a Гџ lactam ring as a substrate to clog the active site of transpeptidase, and in defense, the bacteria uses Гџ lactamase to break down the Гџ lactam ring. I hope to continue research on super bacteria to determine whether or not other super bacteria ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... B lactam Antibiotics and Bacteria To understand how MRSA works against antibiotics, we must first look at the cell wall and how antibiotics work. The cell wall is designed to maintain the cell s shape and to keep the inner workings of the bacteria safe. Without a cell wall, the bacteria could not survive. The wall of a bacterial cell can fit into two major categories: gram positive and gram negative. Staphylococcus aureas is a common example of a gram positive bacteria. Gram positive bacteria is made up of polymer layers of peptidoglycan connected by amino acid bridges. Peptidoglycan is a polymer made of Nacetylglucosamine and N acetyl muraminic acid, or for the purpose of convenience, NAG and NAMA. [6] These layers of polymers are cross linked with amino acids as shown in the diagram below. The polymers are connected and layered by an enzyme known as transpeptidase. The enzyme is responsible for catalyzing the reaction that cross links the cell wall to make it strong.[1] Making the cell wall is easily one of the most basic and essential processes that takes place. [6] Penicillin and Methicillin, two antibiotics used to treat Staphylococcus aureas, are known as Гџ lactam antibiotics. They prevent the bacteria from forming a cell wall.[1] The NAM of the peptidoglycan leaves residue of D alanyl D alanine which bind to the transpeptidase in order to cross link the chain. They also may be able to remove the genes that trigger people s allergies. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations also educates those who inquire about the potential disadvantages of GMOs. For instance there is no conclusive evidence one way or another if Modifying an organism can destabilize it. The long term effect of genetic modification could cause potential mutations that harm the plant and could in turn possibly harm the animal that consumes it. Genetically modified organisms could also breed with native species and create a lack of biological diversity on the planet because they would be damaging. This would happen because GMOs are hardy plants that take over native species. This invasive species could produce more food, but it has the potential to be detrimental to the environment as well. The invasive species would be a problem if something were to happen to the GMO that would make it inedible or kill it and get rid of a large portion of our food supply. Another potential harm that can come from genetically modified organisms is the possibility that an organism can be genetically modified to resist an antibiotic may

The Life And Accomplishments Of Frederick Douglass When speaking of how African Americans evolved from being slaves to becoming free, one must not fail to mention the life and accomplishments of Frederick Douglass. The actions taken by Frederick Douglas and others that pave the way were perceived as huge achievements then and now. Negros, as they were called in the 17th and 18th century where considered nothing more than slaves. Being a slave did not grant human rights to anything at any time or any place. But Frederick Douglass had different plans other than only being a slave. Overcoming slavery would become a life long journey with the thoughts of becoming a free man the only possible option. Frederick Douglass was born in slavery as Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey in Talbot County, Maryland. By only knowing his mother s name and not knowing his date of birth or who his father was, this was normal for many Negros. This hurdle was only a few of many challenges that were not only faced by Frederick Douglas but also by many other slave s at this time. Growing up, Frederick Douglass was a very mild mannered child. He was originally a house Negro who learned very quickly what roles slaves played in their society. Slaves were not privileged to anything, they were not privileged to learn to read, write or know their history, which crippled slaves into centuries of oppression. But early in his life, Frederick Douglass knew this was not going to be his way of living. When Douglass was a very young child he lived with his

This loss of elastic recoil occurs as the disease destroys the walls of the alveoli. Airway resistance is also increased as the lung tissue in general becomes more flimsy and exerts less mechanical tethering on the surrounding airways. Thus the lung becomes overly compliant and expands easily. Conversely, a great effort is required to exhale as the lungs can no longer passively recoil and deflate. Anoticeable and exhausting muscular effort is required for each exhalation. Thus a person with emphysema exhales slowly. 1. Lastly, the manager has to acquire the help of a publicist or if not needed, publicise the band as it adds value to the band by setting up CD sales, getting more bookings for shows and interviews. Opportunities for Caracal is that being based in Singapore, the market is small and is easier to break into the music scene and be one of the famous bands around. On the other hand, the limitation of being in Singapore is that the music scene is not as recognized and huge such as companies in the United States of America where talent scouts are everywhere looking for new talent every other day for their record labels.
