  1. Don’t let others promise you top placement within Google. No one has control over the search engine rankings except Google. The PAID ads are the ones highlighted in this results page.We are focusing on the ORGANIC results, which is everything else on the page.
  2. Referencing Quality Content throughout my presentation – here is what it means…..

Both on-site and off-site SEO must be done on a continual basis.One page per keyphraseThe algorithm for Google is very complex and is ALWAYS changing.My favorite saying the the SEO world is “Content is King, Linking is Queen” – everything really refers back to the original roots of content and linking in the SEO world.Here are a few items that factor into the complex algorithm.CONTENTTitle Tag – within each page should be description of page, within links as an attributeDescription Tag – URL Structure – use keywords vs numbers or queriesArchitecture – how the information on your site is organizedQuality – valuable, unique, compelling, resourceful information – BE THE EXPERTImages – utilize the ALT tag to describe the image & name the image using your keywords vs image1.jpgHeading Tags – eye catching headline – explains whats on the page (to both the SE and the user)LINKINGText links – are better than image links, keyword strengthBlog – builds your online footprint, backlinksSitemaps (3) – one for site visitors (people), one for search engines (spiders), image sitemapSocial Media – easily make your content go viral, builds backlinksGoogle – Google Places, Google+, Google Analytics, Google Adwords (keywords), Webmaster Tools
