How to create a course
- 1. How to create a course on Wired Tutor
- 2. Keep your mouse on ”Management” and click ”New Course”
- 5. Add media to the course description. (Not mandatory)
- 6. If you haven’t already uploaded the files you need. Click ”Upload Files”
- 7. Drag and drop your files or click ”Select Files” to browse your device.
- 8. Select the file you wish to upload. You can attach images and videos.
- 9. Insert your media into post. (It may take a while for the file to upload, depending on the size and your internet connection.)
- 10. Arrange the positioning of your inserted media until you’re satisfied.
- 11. If you’re curious how your course will look when published you may click the ”Preview” button as many times as you wish. This will open a new tab.
- 12. Not too bad, right? If you want to resume editing, just close this tab or change to your previous tab.
- 13. The next step is also not mandatory, but it’s a good way to give your potential students an overview about what they will learn by enrolling in your course.
- 14. Choose relevant categories. If you can’t find a suitable category, you may add new ones by clicking ”+ Add New Course Category”.
- 15. To add an additional level of organisation, you can assign course modules. As this course is split into five different parts, it would be logical to create one module for each part. And then add respective lessons to these modules.
- 16. To add a final touch, you should add a nice looking featured image. You can upload a new image if you haven’t already done so.
- 17. And the final thing is to set whether you wish to your course to be free or not for free. Please add this to the end of the title.
- 18. Click ”Submit for Review” and please kindly wait for us at Wired Tutor to review your course and publish it if everything looks correct. (Takes up to 48h) Note: You can always edit your courses later on.
- 19. That’s it! As simple as that. Next step is to add content to your course, you do this by creating lessons.
