To color correct an image of artwork for a portfolio, select Image and choose from Auto Tone, Auto Contrast, or Auto Color options to enhance colors as intended when creating the piece. After you have properly cropped your art work for your portfolio it’s now time to
enhance the color as you intended when creating.
1. Select Image at the top of your screen. You will have 3 (three) options to choose from:
a. Auto Tone
b. Auto Contrast -It clips the shadow and highlight values in an image and then maps the
remaining lightest and darkest pixels in the image to pure white (level 255) and pure
black (level 0).
c. Auto Color - Auto Color adjusts the contrast and color of an image by searching the
image to identify shadows, midtones, and highlights.
You can play around with the different options for your art work. In some cases you may use
all three options. The key is to find the color that mostly identifies your original piece.
