Technological advancement is rapidly changing the nature of work and poses challenges for sustaining employment. While technology benefits organizations through efficiency gains, it has led to many job losses as automated processes replace human tasks. Those with fewer technical skills are most at risk. To address this, the government of Pakistan should invest in developing its human capital from an early age by improving education, health, and teaching problem-solving, socio-behavioral, and adaptability skills to better prepare citizens for the future of work.
