God's love is unconditional in three ways:
1) God loves all people equally, without regard for family relations or conditions. His love is impartial.
2) God loves us not because of anything we do, but because love is His very nature. We do not earn or lose His love through our actions or sins.
3) When we sin, we separate ourselves from God through our free will, rather than God withdrawing His love. God's love remains constant while our relationship with Him depends on our choice to follow His will or not.
God teaches us in the bible how we should love. However, we know that NOT all people believe in the bible or choose to obey his laws. If everyone in this world obeyed the 2nd great commandment, that is, to love thy neighbor as thyself....there would be no hate or violence in this world. Nor would we have sodomy because a romantic relationship between two individuals of the same-gender is NOT considered love in the eyes of God. He considers it an abomination, a sin. We must learn to love not according to the desires of our flesh but according to the laws of God.

Thoughts helpful in the life of the soul from Book I – The Imitation of Christ.
If only a man would never seek passing joys or entangle himself with worldly affairs, what a good conscience he would have.
In silence and quiet the devout soul advances in virtue and learns the hidden truths of Scripture.
Why wish to see what you are not permitted to have? “The world passes away and the concupiscence thereof.”

A look into the Biblical passages that focus on "one another". This is a reflection tool to help you understand the context of your relationships as well as review God's call for us to like together.
John MacArthur, “Agape love is the greatest virtue of the Christian life. Yet that type of love was rare in pagan Greek literature. That’s because the traits agape portrays—unselfishness, self-giving, willful devotion, concern for the welfare of others—were mostly disdained in ancient Greek culture as signs of weakness. However, the ew Testament declares agape to be the character trait around which
all others revolve. The apostle John writes, “God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16).
Remorse is being sorry you got caught. Suppose you‘re driving fast and got caught by the police (because you broke the speed limit). You are remorseful because had you not got caught you would have kept driving fast. Repentance is being sorry enough to stop what you are doing and change your behavior.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

1. How is the Love ofGod unconditional?
A trait of God's Unconditional Love: Impartial in Love.
If a man can Love two people "equally", say his father an a stranger or his mother against a
friend, then he's beginning to be more Christlike because this Love is devoid of the "family/blood
relation" condition too.
Why? That's how God is. God doesn't Love us because of any conditions but because He is
Love as C.S. Lewis also testified to this truth.
However, when we "sin", we don't "abide/remain" in His Love because we have gone away from
Him (not the other way around -freewill).
In the Gospels, we find a clue to this beautiful "unconditional Love" of "Lord Jesus alone"
perfectly; At one time, some of the disciples said that His mother (Mary) wanted to meet Him.
Lord Jesus replied that anyone who does the "Will of God" is His mother etc. What Christ is
"literally" and truthfully saying is that He makes no distinction between "anyone" even with
respect to His earthly mother (Mary).
In short, Christ views all men "equally" with respect to one doing the "Will of God".
As I outlined above, doing the Will of God is not a condition to be Loved by God but rather it
assures that we "remain/abide" in His Love. In other words, when we don't do the will of God
(and sin), we find ourselves "going away" from Him.
That is, we being "partial" towards wanting to "remain in sin" (our freewill choice), end up running
away from the True Light to abide in darkness.
Remember, we are the ones who "demand" to be "Loved" with the "condition" of remaining in
"sin". Who's "conditional"? We who abide in "sin" with "sin" being "our condition" (literally).
