1) The document discusses discrimination against Christians for expressing their faith publicly or saying "Jesus" and argues this goes against religious freedom protected by the 1st Amendment.
2) It argues that discriminating against others for sins different than one's own is hypocritical, as all have sinned, and discusses examples of sins like lying, adultery, theft, and cursing.
3) The main point is that while religious freedom should be protected, discrimination should be avoided, and people of faith should spread love rather than hate or judgment toward others.
This document discusses distortions of God's love and justice. It addresses the idea that God is only loving and would never send people to Hell, as well as the idea that God is never forgiving. The document seeks to show that God is both loving and just. His love is demonstrated through sending Jesus to die for sins, satisfying both God's love and requirement of justice. While sin angers God, he is willing to forgive through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. The document aims to resolve misunderstandings of God's character through biblical examination of his love, holiness, righteousness, and forgiveness.
God created humans to have a relationship with them but humans sinned, separating them from God. This introduced suffering into the world. Jesus died to pay the penalty for human sins so that people can be reconciled with God by accepting Jesus. By doing so, people are forgiven, secure in God's love both now and eternally.
1) Covetousness is an ongoing desire for other people's possessions and status that leads to idolatry, putting things before God. It causes envy, selfishness, and wars as people desire what others have.
2) True fulfillment and happiness can only be found in God, not in money, relationships, or other worldly things that are temporary.
3) To overcome covetousness, we must be content with what we have, grateful to God, and trust him to provide for our needs rather than trying to find fulfillment in created things. Walking closely with God through faith leads to freedom from covetousness.
Christ came to restore our relationship with God and give us victory. It is yours for the taking. He leaves the choice up to us. I would like to challenge you to willingly accept His gift to you.
This document discusses the importance of correction as a necessity for staying on the spiritual course. It outlines several hindrances to correction such as fear, misunderstanding scripture, awareness of personal sins, laziness, relative morality, and uncertainty. It provides guidelines for giving biblical correction, including being humble, having the right motives, speaking directly, and being persistent. The goal of correction is to restore the person's relationship with God and others through applying scriptural principles in a loving manner.
This document discusses judging others and examines several Bible passages on the topic. The key points are:
1) Jesus intervened when religious leaders wanted to stone a woman for adultery, saying "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." This showed that we should not condemn others when we ourselves are guilty.
2) Passages like Luke 6:37 and Matthew 7:1-5 instruct believers not to judge or condemn others, but to show mercy, as we ourselves need mercy.
3) While we should not judge, we can gently help correct others in a spirit of love, as shown in Galatians 6:1. Overall
God's love is unconditional in three ways:
1) God loves all people equally, without regard for family relations or conditions. His love is impartial.
2) God loves us not because of anything we do, but because love is His very nature. We do not earn or lose His love through our actions or sins.
3) When we sin, we separate ourselves from God through our free will, rather than God withdrawing His love. God's love remains constant while our relationship with Him depends on our choice to follow His will or not.

The document summarizes Watchman Nee's messages on "The Life That Wins" delivered in 1935. It discusses the ideal victorious Christian life ordained by God and contrasts it with the common experiences of failure and defeat among Christians in eight areas: 1) Sins of the spirit like pride and unbelief 2) Sins of the flesh 3) Sins of the mind like wandering thoughts 4) Sins of the body related to overindulgence 5) Sins of disposition like being too harsh or timid 6) Sins related to one's natural temperament and character traits. The document urges Christians to humble themselves and recognize their shortcomings in order to receive God's grace and victory over these failures.
What is a Christian Struggler?
For our purposes it is a person who struggles with same sex attraction. This includes one who has never acted on these thoughts to transgender. Struggler, means that you feel a sense of guilt, shame or wrong about these things. You are not alone. We know that God has a plan and a purpose for your life.
More than anything we want you to know that the Bible does NOT require you to change into something else before Jesus accepts you. In fact, God came to earth (in the life of Jesus) nearly 2000 years ago, suffered, died and rose again for your redemption. Your sins are already forgiven. All you have to do is receive this forgiveness and live forever with Him.
Not sure how all this works? Ask us and we will show you the way.
Jesus said, "I am the truth the life and the way". We can show you to him he will do everything else!
This document is a summary of 20 chapters from a book by Glenn Pease called "Jesus Teaches Us". Each chapter analyzes a section of the Sermon on the Mount from the book of Matthew. The key ideas are that Jesus teaches the importance of preventative thinking and actions to avoid sin and live a righteous life. Christians should seek to prevent conflicts, immorality, divorce and other issues by dealing wisely with feelings like anger and lust. Overall, the document discusses how the Sermon on the Mount guides Christians on sanctification and living a holy life through prevention of sinful behaviors and thoughts.
Sex is portrayed differently by culture and some churches than how God intends it. God designed sex for marriage to reflect Christ's self-giving love, promote oneness between spouses, and overcome sin through faith and contentment, not primarily for pleasure or self-improvement. Sex points beyond the physical to greater spiritual realities.
The document provides 17 tips for building solid relationships based on Matthew 7:12 (treating others as you want to be treated). The tips include learning to love yourself through God first, interacting with others without expectations, showing deference, being a giver not a taker, controlling your tongue, seeing people through eyes of grace, not making it about yourself, forgiving others, being patient, believing the best of others, respecting others' wishes, accepting God's will over your own, enjoying life, hanging around people who help you grow spiritually, respecting the weak, showing empathy, and responding with compassion rather than revenge. The overall message is that building relationships requires applying God's principles of love, humility,

The document discusses the concept of sin and salvation. It asserts that all people have sinned and fallen short of God's standards. It then reviews the Ten Commandments and argues that no one can claim to have fully obeyed them. The document explains that Jesus's sacrifice provides the only path to forgiveness and salvation, which comes through repentance from sin and faith in Him. It encourages readers to repent of their sins and trust in Jesus to avoid facing eternal punishment in Hell.
This document provides a sermon encouraging self-examination and good works over judging others. What Scripture says about boundaries and divorce in an unhealthy marriageRuthie Gray
The document discusses boundaries and divorce in an unhealthy marriage according to scripture. It believes marriages should be fought for but also establishes boundaries. It provides examples of situations like adultery, abuse, or substance abuse where boundaries may be needed. The Bible shows marriage is between a man and woman, but also that God does not want us to cover or tolerate sin. We should confront and restore gently with a spirit of gentleness, bearing one another's burdens and getting help from others. Forgiveness does not require enabling ongoing sin without accountability.
The document discusses the concept of generational curses and argues that it is not supported by Scripture. It examines God's character from three contexts: covenant, compassion, and consistency. God does not punish innocent people but holds each individual accountable for their own sins. The idea of generational curses goes against God's just nature and portrayal throughout the Bible as caring for all people. It suggests the doctrine was created by men to justify themselves rather than uphold God's grace.
The document contains summaries of three messages preached to audiences where many people were non-Christians.
1) The first message discusses how Jesus came to give life, but many would not receive it due to stubbornness and fear of change. It emphasizes that anyone can come to Jesus and receive life if they are willing.
2) The second message discusses Isaiah 1:18-20, where God invites the wicked to "come now, let us reason together." It highlights that God offers forgiveness to all, regardless of sin, but people must be willing to respond to His invitation.
3) The third message uses the parable of the prodigal son to illustrate that anyone can choose to go home

This document discusses true love and purity. It provides biblical definitions of love, explaining that true love is patient, kind, and protects others. It encourages expressing love for God by offering one's body to Him and waiting until marriage for sex. It notes several consequences of premarital sex like loss of wholeness and increased tolerance to sin. It provides ten reasons to wait for marriage, such as protecting one's testimony and avoiding guilt. Finally, it discusses risks of STDs and unwanted pregnancy from premarital sex.
This document discusses the problem of sin and suffering in the world and offers a Christian perspective on its origins and solution. It describes how:
1) God created the world perfectly but humanity introduced sin through Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden, corrupting humanity's relationship with God and bringing suffering.
2) Jesus's sacrifice on the cross paid the debt of humanity's sin, allowing forgiveness and restoration of relationship with God for those who accept him.
3) By believing in Jesus, one can be reconciled with God, receive eternal life, and have the hope of perfection in heaven despite the imperfections of the present world.
God has made us responsible for certain aspects of ourselves and our lives. It is important to understand what is "me" and what is not, and what we are responsible for versus what we are not. Boundaries help with this by defining our responsibilities and protecting our well-being. Some key aspects we are responsible for include our feelings, attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, choices, thoughts, desires, abilities to give and receive love. Boundaries should allow in what nourishes us while keeping out what harms us. God sets a good example of maintaining boundaries in a loving way.

The document discusses how marriage relationships can reveal our weaknesses to each other, help us recognize our own weaknesses, and teach us to value one another. It also talks about how marriage relationships have the potential to affirm our identities, heal wounds from the past through selfless love, and provide a context for both giving and receiving grace and forgiveness. The overall message is that marriage can powerfully shape us through truth, love, and grace if we learn to love our spouse on their terms.
1. The document discusses how love is the central message of Christianity according to 1 John. True followers of Christ demonstrate love for one another, as loving others is evidence that one belongs to God.
2. It explores how hate is defined as murder by Jesus and John, and contrasts the loving nature of God with the hateful nature of the world. Christians must demonstrate radical love like Christ by laying down their lives for others.
3. Loving others in deed, not just word, is how Christians walk as Jesus walked. Indifference to the needs of others would contradict God's loving nature. True faith motivates Christians to acts of love.
The document discusses the first commandment given by God - "You shall have no other gods before Me." It explains that God desires our complete love and devotion, not just our weekly church attendance or offerings. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. The first commandment establishes that the one true God, who brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, alone deserves our worship. Anything else we make a priority in our lives over God becomes an idol or "god" that we worship. The only object worthy of worship is the eternal God, as He alone can satisfy and save us.
This document discusses the nature of God's love based on a sermon or teaching. It makes several key points:
1) God's love is the joyful overflow of his will and glory. His love is rooted in his own perfect attributes and pursuit of glorifying himself.
2) God's love is manifest supremely in the provision of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is visibly expressed in action, always sacrificial through Christ's death, and aimed at the benefit of others.
3) God's love ensures the welfare of his children, overlooking nothing in their lives. But humans may not always feel God's love if they are not living to glorify him in every area.

This document discusses various addictions that can distract from one's relationship with God, including substances, behaviors, and other people/things. It states that addictions take the place of God and waste the precious time one has been given. Various biblical passages are cited that encourage walking with God and resisting sinful lusts and behaviors. The key to overcoming addictions, it says, is completely trusting in God through Jesus Christ and putting on the new self rather than living according to former addictions.

This article is my attempt to explain that sometimes what people say is not what they actually mean. If we use laws of logic, it is possible to detect when they are honest and when they are not. When words are not supported by actions, it is a strong indication that they lie. Logic helps to understand who genuinely believes in God, and who only pretends to believe because everybody does.
This document provides information about homosexuality from a Christian perspective. It discusses that homosexuality is often promoted in pornography and can be something sex addicts struggle with. The document is intended to help Christians who want to understand homosexuality or know someone dealing with same-sex attraction. It presents arguments that homosexuality goes against God's design and is identified as sin in the Bible. The document also discusses potential roots of homosexuality such as dysfunctional relationships, generational sin, and societal pressures. It outlines perceived consequences of homosexual behavior and provides steps for homosexual recovery through faith in Jesus Christ.
Bishop Larry Silva of the Diocese of Honolulu urges Catholics to contact their state legislators to oppose a bill legalizing same-sex marriage in Hawaii. He argues that true marriage can only be between one man and one woman, and that legalizing same-sex marriage will have far-reaching implications beyond just benefits for couples, including how children are raised and the future of religious freedom. He asks Catholics to pray and politely contact their representatives to voice their opposition in the next couple weeks when a special legislative session may take up the issue.
This document discusses the choice between heaven and hell that every person must make. It notes that God is both loving and just, and that his laws demand punishment for sin. It then lists several of God's commandments and asks if the reader has broken them, establishing that all have sinned. However, it explains that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sins, so that sins can be forgiven through repentance and accepting Jesus. The document encourages the reader to confess their sins and accept Jesus to be cleansed from sin and avoid hell.
The document discusses the purpose of taking a vow, which is to experience transformation through spiritual disciplines like prayer, focusing on purpose, guarding one's heart, and serving others. This process brings about a community of love where people can experience God's glory and freedom. It notes that ignorance of distinguishing right from wrong has oppressed people and led to negative emotions and sickness. Taking the vow denies one's carnal nature and pursues a new spiritual nature through changing one's inner thoughts by learning God's principles, sharing fellowship with others, engaging in communion, and praying. The goal is to experience God's love and blessings found in community with others.
This Sunday we hear the familiar Gospel of the woman who was caught in adultery and about to be stoned. Meanwhile the Scribes and the Pharisees, keepers of the Jewish Law, are not very happy with all the attention Jesus is getting, so they a lay trap for him. What does Christ do? Does he focus on the sin or the shame?
The insight to what this Gospel is really all about is broken open by a Jesuit working with the gangs in LA. See what I mean.
This document discusses divisions that can arise in the church over issues where Christians hold differing views. It notes that Christians often find themselves on both sides of controversial issues due to differences in background, tradition, and perspective. The passage examines Romans 14, in which Paul addresses how the church should handle areas where God's will is not absolutely clear, and Christians have differing convictions. He advocates receiving one another without passing harsh judgment on disputable matters, in order to promote unity.
Few skills are as important as knowing how to forgive well in a world filling faster up with things that offend. Learn what forgiveness is and isn't, the power of forgiveness, the process and the practice of forgiveness. Thank God we can forgive with His help!
This document discusses the importance of forgiveness and love according to Christian teachings. It makes the following key points:
1) Jesus said the two greatest commandments are to love God with all your being and love your neighbor as yourself. True Christians cannot love God without forgiving others and loving all people, as they are all God's children.
2) People have free will to choose God or not, but once choosing God they must obey His commandments, not live as they choose. You cannot serve both God and wealth/Satan.
3) To overcome sin requires diligent prayer, Bible study, asking forgiveness, and relying on God's strength, not one's own efforts. Forgiveness and love
The document discusses the importance of forgiveness and love according to God's commandments. It argues that true Christians cannot claim to love God while failing to forgive others or love their neighbors. Four reasons are provided for why Christians cannot practice sin: 1) Sin is incompatible with God's law. 2) It is incompatible with Christ's work to take away sins. 3) Christ came to destroy Satan's works. 4) It is incompatible with the Holy Spirit's work of imparting a new, righteous nature to believers. The document stresses that one cannot serve both God and Satan, and that true believers will show the fruit of righteousness through habitually forgiving and loving others.
The document discusses physical abuse and the Catholic Church's views on the topic. It begins with a prayer calling on God to help those suffering from abuse and give strength to survivors. It then defines physical abuse and lists some common forms. The Church believes marriage should be based on mutual respect and love, and that the Bible condemns domestic violence and child abuse. Physical abuse can stem from growing up in an abusive home or inability to manage emotions. Abuse has negative effects on victims and they are advised to seek help from trusted individuals.
This document contains excerpts from Paul's letter to the Galatians with commentary. The passages encourage living freely through God's spirit rather than being bound by rules and laws. They emphasize showing love and compassion to others rather than judging. The commentary notes that identifying as Christian in the U.S. is declining and suggests religious people need to focus less on rules and more on speaking up for justice, caring for the planet, and embodying love.
This document discusses the sin of judgmentalism, where people elevate their own opinions to the level of biblical truth and judge others harshly. Judgmentalism is subtle because it can be disguised as zeal for righteousness. The document cautions against judging others based on superficial factors like dress. While clear biblical sins can be identified, we must avoid an attitude of self-righteousness and point others to repentance rather than condemnation. We are warned against demonizing those with differing beliefs, though doctrines like justification by faith alone are non-negotiable.
To be part of the body of Christ and make it to his kingdom, one must:
1. Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, obey his commands, and pray daily for protection and guidance.
2. Understand that spiritual wickedness works to throw one off righteousness, so one must not conform to worldly pressures and pleasures.
3. Strive to live righteously through faith in Christ in order to spend eternity in heaven, rather than in hell which is eternal separation from God.

How love, courtship, sex, and marriage are defined in a biblical standpoint. Includes discussions on the no-no's of premarital sex and the integrity in relationships
This is the slideshow I walked the youth through to present to discuss the controversial subject of homosexuality from a biblical perspective and how a Christian should respond.
This document discusses spiritual warfare in marriage. It asserts that marriage is under attack from evil spirits because it represents God's love. It warns of various temptations the devil uses to attack marriages, such as negative thoughts, accusations, and physical temptations. It provides advice on how to resist these attacks through prayer, focusing on God rather than fears/feelings, developing godly habits, and asking God to protect and guide the marriage.
This document discusses several topics related to faith in Jesus Christ. It discusses how Jesus is the light of the world and the son of God. It talks about the importance of focusing on Jesus' works rather than human works. It provides advice on guarding one's heart and mind from negativity. It discusses seeking God and finding peace by looking to the sky. It also talks about internal change coming from changing one's thoughts rather than external factors. Finally, it discusses the story of Jesus multiplying loaves and fish to feed thousands as an example of gratitude.

Discrimination Goes Against God
People are being discriminated against for saying the name Jesus, or for sharing their true faith
with other people in public places, and not too many people seem to be upset about this (except
of course, for other Christians). The pledge of allegiance has been taken out of a lot of schools,
and is now only 3 times a week at other schools who still have it. People are being taken to
court or arrested and thrown in jail for saying the name Jesus, or sharing their faith. And the
government keeps making laws either in individual states, or all over, that go against the 1st
Amendment, which was created to protect religious freedom, and then making laws that go
against God’s Word.
Yet it is believers who are trying to put a stop to these laws that are getting the heat. Disney is
threatening to boycott the state of Georgia if they pass a bill that will protect religious freedom
(which is within the constitutional rights to do), and yet it is okay that Disney is discriminating
against people who believe God’s word and in Jesus. Disney used to be family oriented/friendly
and now they are copying today’s worldly values instead of the wholesome values they used to
have. Go read the constitutional rights (the Amendments), and pay close attention to the first
Amendment, which is all about protecting religious freedom, and was meant to do so always,
until the end of time, not until people/the world decided to turns their backs on God or Jesus, the
Creator of Heaven and Earth and all of its inhabitants – all animals, including humans.
Everybody sins differently, so to discriminate against anyone who commits one particular sin is
hypocritical, even if it is a Christian not showing love for someone who sins differently from
them. And the Apostle James tells us in James 2:10-12 that if you are guilty of breaking one
law, you are guilty of breaking all of God’s laws, and everyone will be judged for their words and
actions, and the way they lived their lives. Ever told a lie? You are guilty of breaking God’s laws.
Said an unkind word to someone, and disrespected and hurt them? Or decided to be judge and
jury and judge someone for something they do or do not do? If you have done both or either,
you are guilty of breaking God’s laws. If you commit adultery – whether one or both of you are
married, or just “in a relationship” with someone else, then you are guilty of great sin/breaking
God’s laws. If you have ever stolen anything, even accidentally (but did not rectify the situation
by bringing the stolen item back and either returning it or paying for it), you are guilty of breaking
God’s laws. Do you curse or swear? Using foul language makes you guilty of breaking God’s
laws. For those who are discriminating against believers, they are guilty too for they are still
breaking God’s laws by not believing, following Jesus, or obeying His commands.
No matter what sin, or sins, you have committed, you still committed it and have no right to
judge or discriminate against someone else for sinning differentlythan you do. I admit, I am
guilty of cursing (which makes me feel guilty every time, and I keep praying to God to help me
get rid of all foul and all abusive language, and will do so until I am successful), and some other
sins, but instead of focusing on someone else’s sins because theirs are different than mine, I
pray to my God to forgive me and to help me change my ways so that I can be a better
daughter of God.
The Word of God states clearly that we are not to discriminate against anyone and lists most of
the things people do that against such as race, color, ethnicity, age, or believers verses non-
2. believers… and Jesus stopped an adulterous woman from being stoned to death in John 8:1-
11 (with focus on verses 8-11). He told the people who wanted to stone her, “let the one who
has not sinned throw the first stone,” and then they thought about it and all fled because they
knew they were guilty of their own sins. Jesus asked the woman if even one person was left to
condemn her, she said “no,” and Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”
If Jesus is against discrimination of adultery (or stoning a woman for it), then how does He feel
when He sees those of us declaring allegiance with Him and God discriminating against
someone because they are gay or transgender? Some of you may be aware of something I
wrote in response to what Chik-fil-a did to a gay couple (refusing them service) and the public
statement the head of Chik-fil-a made to defend the employee who did that at one of his
restaurants. I was against it because refusing to serve someone, or let them into your store, or
anywhere else is discrimination and judgmental, and God warns us against that. I am all for
protecting your religious rights, since I myself am a Christian, but, that does not make it okay to
show hate. Some may argue they were just protecting their rights to religious freedom, which
could by why the government is trying to work to put an end to it, but there is protecting your
rights and your religious freedom, and there is discriminating or bullying, which is unacceptable.
If you do not want to serve someone, that is within the owner’s or their employee’s rights, but do
not do it only because they are guilty of breaking a different law of God’s than you are guilty of
breaking. If someone is obnoxious, scaring customers, or rude, then those are all valid reasons
to refuse service. But if someone who just happens to be gay wants a bite to eat, or to shop in a
store, if you ask them quietly to leave then maybe people would not make such a big deal out of
it, but to say “I refuse to serve you because you are gay and it is a sin against God” or to have
that attitude goes against God as well.
It is wrong to refuse service to anyone because they are black, white, Mexican, or any other
color or race, so it is also wrong to do it because a person, couple, or group does something
you don’t like – with exceptions of people being obnoxious in their behavior, being rude, or
stealing/attempting to steal or walk out without paying for whatever they ate, or took. And if
someone feels strongly enough about something someone, a couple, or group is doing that it
goes against the owner’s, manager’s, or employee’s beliefs, then ask them to leave quietly and
respectfully, without showing hate or discrimination for them or their actions, or they and other
people at the restaurant or store will think you are judging, showing hate, and being
discriminatory against the person or people you are kicking out – and all of the above attitudes
go against God. God is against hate, against judging others and condemning, against
discrimination of any kind. So two wrongs do not make a right! So before kicking someone out
because of your faith in the Lord, consider praying silently to God about it, and if necessary,
instead (of throwing them out), quietly pull the person, couple, or group aside in private and
gently sharing God’s Word with them and letting them know how much God and Jesus love
them and want to have a relationship with them, then gently and kindly explain how they can
enter into a right relationship with the Lord. Sharing God’s Word with others and spreading His
love and peace is what pleases Him, not hate, discrimination, or judging and condemning or
making others feel hated, judged, condemned, or discriminated against because it is ungodly,
and a major cause of this world’s problems. If everyone who follows Jesus made the decision to
spread love and share God’s Word respectfully and gently, the world would become a better
place to live because we could all live in love, peace, and harmony together.
3. One of the points I am making is, that yes the Bible says marriage is between a man and a
woman (and so then, are all romantic relationships), but that is just one type of sin people
commit. I am guilty of sinning against God every day whether in thought, speech, attitude,
behavior, action, or any combo/all of the above. But I own up to my own sins to God and Jesus
and I pray for forgiveness and for God to help me change the way I think, learn to control my
thoughts and emotions, and become more like Jesus; I do not go around judging others like a
hypocritical and judgmental person. As someone who has been unfairly judged and mistreated,
I work hard at not doing that to anyone else. God loves all sinners, no matter what they have
done. Nothing a person says or does can make God love them less or more. When we sin,
those of us who know God and Jesus pray to God for forgiveness and repent (and pray for help
repenting if it is a sin you have a problem with not doing anymore), and God who is just and fair,
will forgive you and will help you. I am not trying to make anyone feel guilty, but the opposite. I
am stating that everyone alive today, including me do and say things that go against God’s will
and are sinful and ungodly, so to target 1 group of people for committing a sin different then
your sins is wrong and ungodly. We are to love everyone, no matter who they are or what they
have done. And the more love we spread to others, the greater chance we have of bringing
more people into a soul-saving relationship with the Lord, which is meant to be all Christians’
responsibility (to win souls for Jesus), so that more people will be saved on the Coming Day.
If the Holy Spirit dwells inside of you, then you will be able to make the changes you need to
make in order to stop committing the same sin(s) over and over again. It will not be an overnight
thing for most people, but if you keep working with the Lord and show Him a heart willing to
change for Him, then over time, you will have victory over those sins. If you do not have the
Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you, then you need to hear God’s word and believe and accept it,
repent of your sins, confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, be baptized in the name of God,
Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (and baptism is being fully submerged under water, where one comes
into contact with Jesus’ blood spiritually, and then are raised up to a new life in Christ), you will
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you to the right church and help you study your
Bible daily to gain spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. And then you must make
the daily decision to let the Holy Spirit lead you, and to live for Jesus instead of for yourself.
Imagine how much better the whole world would be, if instead of hate, discrimination, judging
and condemning, persecuting, anger (unrighteous) and lack of forgiveness there was love,
kindness, compassion, respect, forgiveness, mercy, and grace for ourselves, and for one
another. Jesus has called us to love our neighbor and that includes “our enemies.” (Matthew
5:44-48) If we all put this command into practice, along with the first and most important one to
love the one and only Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our
strength, then there would be no more bullying, no more crime of any kind (whether theft,
murder, adultery, or any other crime against another person, including insulting someone), no
more homelessness, no more people (adults or kids) starving, and a ton of other issues the
world faces today (like killing the environment with careless actions like littering and other forms
of pollution) would go away and we would live in peace, harmony, love, joy, and hope.
Unfortunately, that will never happen, and the Bible even said as much, because people are too
caught up in living for themselves and worshiping money instead of living for God and
worshiping Jesus, our Lord and Savior who died for all of us to save everyone from their sins.
Jesus came into the world to save everyone, not just those who claim they are in a right
relationship with the Lord. And if you are in a right relationship with the Lord, then love will be
how you act and respond to things instead of hate. We are to hate the sin, but love the sinner,
4. but people tend to get that all wrong and hate the person committing the sin that is different from
the sins they have committed, which goes against Jesus’ teachings and the word of God. Let
those of us who truly believe and follow the Lord show it by spreading love, compassion,
kindness, and goodwill to others and sharing the word of God in kind and respectful ways as
instructed by the Lord/in the Bible so we can band together against hate and discrimination! The
main point is, that just as it is wrong for us to discriminate against others for things they do that
goes against God/our beliefs, it is also wrong to go against our Constitutional Right for religious
freedom. People should be allowed to say the name Jesus and share their faith with others
(respectfully of course) without being thrown out, boycotted, brought to court, or arrested and
sent to jail. Sadly, God told us that these things (persecution for our faith) would happen. But
that does not make it right. Everyone has a right to defend their rights, but it must be done in a
respectful way that does not go against someone else’s rights.
