1. How does my magazine represent
certain social groups!
My magazine’s genre is mainstream, this is all the
music in the Top 40 Chart, my target audience and
the social group I am aiming at are teenagers and
people in there 20’s who enjoy listening to music in
the charts. The music mostly in the top 40 chart is
usually pop and R&B, therefore the music in my
magazine is mostly of these genres.
My magazine is for people aged 13-30 and it is
here to inform and interest people about the top
40 chart and the newest albums and news.
The images I have used will interest and represent
the social group I aiming my magazine at, the
clothing worn by ‘Chad Taylor’ is stylish and
fashionable, this may make readers want to copy
his style.
My magazine will definitely interest teenagers who
like R&B music, Pop music and like to read about
the latest news and albums.
