With 7.7 billion people on the globe, a technological
takeover is inevitable (Kaszowski, 2019). Technology
has a significant impact on consumer behavior and the
decision-making process of buyers worldwide,
influencing everything from what to buy to how and
where to buy as well as which options to consider
(Pratap, 2023). In other words, as technology
advances, consumers become more connected, their
levels of expectation rise, and more sophisticated
technologies are deployed to meet their requirements
(Jose, 2017).

• The amount of internet use rose by
1,355% in 2023. Asia will continue
to have the most internet users in
2023. Asia accounts for
2,790,150,527 online users, or
53.1% of all internet users
worldwide (BroadbandSearch.net,
n.d.).

• Worldwide, there is a wide range in the average internet
speed for all countries. Because they can invest more
money in its infrastructure, richer nations typically have
faster internet speeds. Compared to other regions of the
world, Europe and North America, for instance, often have
faster average internet speeds. In part to a lack of resources
and investment, developing nations frequently find it
difficult to stay up with the rest of the world in terms of
internet speeds. So, the Monaco, Singapore, Chile, Hong
Kong, China, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Romana, and
Thailand have the fastest internet speeds because quick
connection fosters the growing digital entertainment
market, which includes engaging and service streaming
(Wisevoter, n.d.).

billion unique mobile phone users worldwide [refer to
that lots of individuals use multiple mobile phones].

active use in the last 12 months, the overall amount of
smartphones in use is increasing at a 4.6 percent

genuine than a carefully manipulated product photo, which can
increase a consumer's trust in an entity or offer (Bump, 2020).
